Her Fairy Tale Came True

Fairy Hills are gone, with his curse, ruined.
Can this hero be greater than her sin?
Did Father, forgive? He was her desire -
Oh Tam Lin, of stories, you beguile again!

Woods are now suburbs, we are far from home.
Slip into their minds, creep behind their roam.
Past’s visions will be life’s reality.
Legend leads us where fool's hearts cleave and comb.

Climb into their world, leave behind your woes.
Hide ‘neath trembling leaves from past pains and foes.
Search their soulful tale, embrace ecstasy.
Taste the nectar sweet where flowers did grow.

Open light forbids you and I to share
intimacy of our skin warm and bare.
Like those lover's torn, l hold your heart and hands,
softened by light eyes under dark brown hair.

Oh just like Tam Lin, I’d save you again,
far from city's eyes, we’ll live in the glen.
A woman and a girl, I'm with child of yours,
standing brave with you, our love, I’ll defend!

Our lovechild kicking strong beneath my heart
is condemned by those who want us apart.
She connects our love, forbidden by two worlds
as we plan our lives making a new start.

Fairy Hills are gone, with our curse, ruined.
Are we two heroes now greater than our sin?
I forgive myself; in our joy, I’m free -
With tolerance and love, doors will be opened!

If Heaven Permits

If heaven permits
I will be a robin
Perching
Up on a sunlit branch of a tree
Gazing at the far-off light
That flourishes out on the vanilla sky

I will sing
From June to the merry month of May
Every flat
Every sharp
Every note of poetic symphony
That glitters ceaselessly

I will fly
Rough and tough
Beyond ferns and herbs
At odds with
The whirling wind
That might spoil my beauty

And yes
I will soar
Steeper than the milky way
As long as the world breathes
Until heaven
Forbids me

not.

Premium Member Who's Your Daddy

What makes a man a Daddy, let’s give that some thought.
Is it the seed that he donates or maybe some diapers that he bought?
Could it be a video game given, or the latest shiny phone?
Was it when he divorced your mother and left you all alone?

I can’t imagine that a real Daddy could ever abandon his kids.
Isn’t that something that being a good Christian forbids?
Imagine that your children wanted to serve to keep you free.
Would a Daddy kick them out? Think of that family tree.

I believe a Daddy would be there invariably through thick or thin.
No matter what a book might tell him, he would never abandon his kin.
I would give my life for my kids; I would even forfeit my soul.
They will get all that I have, down to my last spoon and bowl.

My children are mine forever, that’s a promise set in stone.
They will forever be welcome, in my unconditional home.
As a Daddy, I’ll show them support, even when I think they’re wrong.
I will never make them feel, like they’re alone, and don’t belong.

Book: Radiant Verses: A Journey Through Inspiring Poetry

The Last Son

In my ear something whispers, tells of tales of burning blisters,
forbids the haunting of my sisters, last of sons to bear our name.
Like fleas in whiskers- embedded splinters,
a Soul that's known too many Winters,
felt just one too many shivers-
puts my family crest to shame!

Sin of Sins is potential wasted, failure tasted on a daily basis.
Jaded thoughts in anger basted, long awaited signs of Truth.
My secrets naked, cut and pasted, Time to Space in cryo-stasis;
bring masks of faces, changing places, all I need to seize the proof!

In our nest found Viper eggs, Black Mamba mouth and Widow webs;
cobra fangs, Komodo legs, the sting of buried Scorpion.
Killer bees on murder sprees, venom- how it quickly spreads!
Such toxic bites, to my delight, end my role to be "the son".

My duty relieved, can freely breathe, no longer bound by obligation.
I now have need to craft and weave the lordly exit of earthly King.
So I take my leave, my goal achieved, looking for a grand reception-
I do believe my aching Heart, the Soul of Art- is my only precious thing!

Vociferous Avarice: Wall Street Creed

The path was long and arduous
And night began to veer
O’er trees, and lanes and rusted gates
Its' shadows breeding fear

Unbridled Wind wisped ‘round
Tombstone crosses where
Hissing its’ frustration
Loudly in despair

It sought to nourish fears
The shadows did create
Searching everywhere to find
It’s soul-less night-time mate.

Moonbeam light kissed the Night
Claiming shadows as their child
Together then in lock-step
They bent on running wild

And there, where he awaited
Their cold inspiring touch
With doctrines of all Evils
Firmly in his clutch

The blackness in his heart,
Thumping ‘neath his frock
Soon it’s rancid maladies
The Wind would there unlock

Thoughts of what’s to come
Then twisted lips to smile
Revealing stained and yellowed teeth
Trapping breath so rank and vile

‘twas then The Prince of Avarice
Rose and stood erect
The world would soon be his
To ravage and infect

His eyes of snake, both bespake
Behind their reptile lids
The embrace of the doctrine
For no Evils it forbids

The Wind increased its’ howling
Icy fingers pushing fro
Arranging fallen hopes
Into a dead rouleau

And you and I so un-suspect
Of pending alchemy
Believing we were safe inside
Cocoons of normalcy.

Our naiveté so firmly grasped
Caused us to belie
The chaos we knew not …
‘twas there, and drawing nigh

As Wind fingers touched him
He yelled out his decree:
“ The Prince of Avarice shall reign
And destroy Democracy!”

His school of ghouls, dunce and fools
Clamored to his side
Greed having won the day
Was about to take It’s ride!

Greed, first blessed the banks
And Wall Street did rejoice
The Prince of Avarice then silenced
All protestor ‘s voice

With lies and propaganda
All fabricated well
Then all the bankers rang
The borrowers death knell

Morgan Stanley, AGI,
Then ‘twas Goldman-Sachs
Raking in what Greed gave out:
Billions in green-backs.

Glutted bankers,
Through laughter Greed had honed
Uncaringly showed the world
A prediction - their prodrome

Of broken dreams, foreclosure schemes
Insuring that which failed
But jobs the cost, as homes were lost
And not a banker jailed.

Premium Member Overly Particular Contest Judges

Not for the contest

No more do I despair
writing for contests with an off the wall theme
Those that want me to create a nightmare
from what was once a beautiful dream.

No more do I care
about Marvel characters who fight and kill
I'd rather spend my time writing silly limericks
for fun and honing a particular poetry skill
than worrying about meter and syllable tricks.

No more do I write
for contests where a sponsor forbids me to choose
how many spaces I indent each middle line
by someone who thinks they're a bard. No, I refuse
to write for a yobo whose rules constrict and confine.

No more contests
do I enter for judges who hold grudges and spite
or who offer friendship placements with a wink.
It's not fair to good poets who get N/A'd as a backbite
I've no more interest in participation with pen and ink

No longer care
to write for judges who give novel length instruction
Yes, rules should be followed, but not to such extreme.
It negates poetic license, serving as a poetic obstruction
making that contest sponsor, head of his or her regime.

No more writing
for those who prohibit adjectives and adverbs be used
or if the sponsor has never written in the specified form.
The power that some feel as a judge can be abused
while preaching about dos and don'ts from a platform.

Oh, spare me
from those who don't know the use of literary devices,
metaphors, proper grammar, and over doing alliteration.
To anyone who wants to enter contests, my advice is...
"Don't take a crown seriously. It will lead to abdication."

No more issues
to deal with sponsors who change their minds midway
through contests because no entries for the theme... bizarre,
and decide, without warning they have the right to say,
"I can do what I want." Who made them the contest czar?"

No blight is this
on judges who sincerely host, giving up their leisure time
to make PS a place where everyone can take an active part.
Those who appreciate good fun in free verse or with rhyme.
I applaud the fair-minded sponsors who have a good heart.

A few weeks ago, I decided to not enter PS contests any longer.

 4. Quantum Superposition

. A particle can exist in multiple states or places simultaneously until measured

Are humans waves or particles?
Even an entire human being, under the right conditions, can act like a quantum wave. If we can define it, we can quantify just how “wave-like” a particle or set of particles is.

I count the magnificent moons
in my stills as I await the phantom voyeur
with stone blue eyes and a fated look, which sets upon me
The one who stirs my soul, measuring me up in coiled silvery spoons

What obsessive observations you must have
not to turn away those piercing eyes
My world stops, my feelings set on and off
Unseen I meander in other spaces
Your eyes are the “switch” without that which
forbids my existence, hence looped are my stills in many places

From the center of life’s probabilities
Spaciously lit across the universe, with bits of me in tow
Collapsed in your arms, we’ve launched our rainbow
Revealing our humanity in the flesh,
in language of mathematician’s music
Riding the unscrupulous waves of light
roaming across all existence,
reverberating ruthless through you, displacing us
Composing are the alchemists and their peers ~

Splitting into a myriad of mirrors
I bare myself to a random reality,
Totality’s filigree, tangling dangling
When you’re not here,
when you’re lost in thought
As the haze spins up and down around me
my world is unseen and the scale’s unbalanced
Showcasing that I’m equally dead as I am alive
Resuscitate me not—please, it’s here that
monotonous music is unheard in this uncertain trapeze

Until eyes of azure translucence are upon,
I cease to exist in fervor, in your zeal
Alive and very real to boot!
I’m gauged like the intrinsic brightness that shines off a star
Until then, am I just a figment of deepest intensity?
By far, humbled to be, take the bait and consummate my reality
Be the glance exigency
Impenetrable eyes of bluest skies I’ve lost sight of you
As a still, until we meet again

Bid To Forbid

When the gut says no; know that it’s forbidden
When heart repels the idea is forbidden
When mind think bad it is indeed forbidden!
When eyes look with hatred it is forbidden
When ears hears wrongs it is forbidden
When ways become to forbid one
Forbid the evil that tempts your innocents
Drift from the darkness that follows your shadow
Forbidden is the soul that plans nothing but evil

Get rid of the weeds that cripple your seeds
Stumble the block that rumble your rock
Bid to twist the bitterness into better
Forbid to be bedridden before you get ridden
Get rid when it last to let you lust
Forbid when it posses you and make you obsessed
Forbidden is the goal that aims nothing but hole

Forbid friends that frame your failure
Delete the deeds of those who deal with your defeat
Abide on your bid to forbid their beard
Reboot to release the strength to forbid the failure
Abort the abnormals to assess their assets
Research and rehearse before you react
Repent to repatriate their repel
But never regret to regulate their replay

Their bid is to beat you in your own game
Hence bid to forbid their forbidden bid
Best business needs the bold bid that bet the rest
Wrap and wrestle their wreck and leave them wrecked
Believe that a bit of bid that they get can get rid of your reach and forbid you to abide but leave you to abstain
From the best bid you are about to obtain

Be obliged to your objective to get rid of the obstacles
That forbids you to obstruct your oppressors
Don’t omit to offer your official bid that beat the beast
That bullies your battle
Bold on to build the gold that hold all the folk in a fold
Until they mould to mourn their forbidden moves
Remain content to your bid just to lift yourself a bit
And see the rest getting forbidden to face you!

In Midnight Mirrors, Thy Beauty Reflects

In midnight mirrors, thy beauty reflects
rays that brighten the waning moon.
Life serenity, Nature's architects,
find thy grace equal its great boon.

Hold thy touch, for very few deserve
dearest blessings, thy sweetest smile.
Art's true masterpieces pale to thy curves
thy laughter makes it all worthwhile.

Send again, deep cheer thy tender heart spreads
longings to hear thee play and sing.
Within thy soft glows rest bright sunset reds
thy great heart forbids worshiping.

In daylight dreams, thy spirit so renews.
All suffering from lonely blues.

Premium Member Seasonal Bliss

The coming and going of the seasons give us more than the springtimes, summers, autumns, and winters of our lives. It reflects the coming and going of the circumstances of our lives like the glassy surface of a pond that shows our faces radiant with joy or contorted with pain. - Gary Zukav

Spring silences the wintery chill,
flooding spirits with gentle,
concealed by the birth of new, the nature of beauty
on petals and leaves, colored by green trees,
inspired – in the breeze, on the song
who sings and believes…

Summer drifts out to the sea,
melodious singer, arriving to bring grace,
in amazing whispers, gentle and gifted,
reflecting the sun’s breath, gasping
creativity, in laughing stars
twinkling, reflecting a sincere heart…

Autumn paints the moments joyous,
polishing the night glossy,
leafing through the journal of dusty pages,
where melancholy forbids dreams dissuasion
cautioning the oaks and pines,
revealing the intimacy of a story’s insight…

Winter challenges the skies with gray,
soothing away the distant dread,
where angry blizzards, with awkward thoughts
encourage the drifts, the flakes, the icicles
to touch the nights with a silence
both blessed and brilliant, alive….

Seasons of hope, seasons of charm
teaching the spirit to let go of what’s gone,
to reach out to the forthcoming
with open hearts, open arms,
savoring the blessings brought to our lives
by the seasons He created…

Seasons designed
to encourage and brighten,
inspire and excite,
fulfill hearts and souls,
relieve worries and restore
so the whole world can see…

God Himself is the maker of peace
God, our Father
is the creativity that sees
beyond the messiness of life,
into the feelings that abide,
when He shines His brilliant light…

all over the world, all over the heart
all over the seasons
that can only be remembered
as the reasons
each heart feels grateful for the grace
that God provides throughout all time!

Confession of a Dangerous Mind

I walk the path of Human Secrecy
I belong in no Shelf
I put no labels to Myself
Hopeless of Heaven
Fearless of Hell
Unraveled my mind
Evoking turmoil in my Soul
In the mystery of my own Disguise
A stranger to my own Thoughts
Cradled with a Heartless Rive
That sees no boundaries
The emancipation of my mind
Subversive at its extreme
An agile Intricacy
The darkest part of my Soul
Where despotism forbids Denunciation
I've a mind of the highest Distinction
That holds me by the hand
Silently Saying
Look, Listen and Learn
I seek to understand
Rather than be understood
When God himself is in the Rough
It's time to summon Satan's Hell..

How Gambling Haram Harms

Our religion forbids all
games of chance guys
We ain't allowed to
indulge in that harmful
enterprise
But no one can claim that
gambling is at all wise

To more has gambling
brought much misery
and misfortune
Trying your luck that
way brings bad luck to
this money goon!

So goes without saying,
no need of elaborating
that harmful and
addictive are casinos and
gambling

Quick money is the lure
but gambling is such an
addictive trap
Indeed a vicious circle it
is for sure
and you can 'bet' my
warnings ain't crap!

The casino wheel doesn't
always tip the scales in
your favour many times
bringing down people
from heights of
immense affluence
to the abyss of poverty
and monetary crimes
as gamblers act as if
'under the influence'

God only wished us to
not be thus corrupt
for He foresaw most
gamblers going bankrupt

To gamble is sin
and you don't always
win

You might end up losing
even the little you had
from bad to worse,
tycoon hero to zero, alas
too sad

I amn't uselessly rambling
Better stay away from
gambling

A compulsive gambler
frequenting the casino
might forever court ill-
luck you know
from slot machine back
to home, to and fro!
As to others his bucks
shall flow.

The Whistleblower

Of that there is no matter of doubt
When the truth pursuits justice
He, the man claims as defender
In his never -ending agony
An art which thou cannot see
Thy sentences unknown to thee.
To cease what is wrong, is prejudice, is lie
The truth be never swallowed, be never shadowed
In partial blindness for universal good
The truth is clear but not understood.
For defenders, the truth is death
To reveal what is hidden -a fatal truth
Questions be solved by the single fact
But the Opposers forbids the voices of the Candors
They rebel, they refused to hear
They tried to hide the truth in madman 's mouth
The defenders may hide from justice
The truth may cover from demise
But the truth may live again
For the truth never dies.

Said the Door

Said the door!

The door SAID,
"I am tired.
Every day I get slammed in.
What am I just a piece of wood or metal?
Have I no feelings?
God forbids one of you gets angry,
you'll slam me so hard I fall off my hinges!
Then comes the thieves,
they kick me in!
What a set of rascals!
Most of all I hate those police squads,
they come with these big ugly pile driving things
that send me to smithereens.
Now the only people I will give permission to knock me in are fire fighters.
Them guys are always trying to help someone.
Why can you all be like them,
Help someone.
Matters not it's a bum,
someone next door who need a ride to the grocery store,
whoever,
whatever it is,
don't think twice just do it."
