Flaw Or Flawless That Is the Question
FLAWS

I once stopped to pause

and think of my flaws

     But I already knew

     That I had very few

So I gave myself a round of applause!

          FLAWLESS

I got no...

Premium Member The Flaw Is Their Seeing, Not Your Being
Why be concerned with transparency
People are blind, they really can’t see
With distortion and illusion in the word today
And bias and lies in what people say

Just be who you are, one of a kind
The truth will totally blow their mind
They’ll be so confused trying to figure...

Premium Member A Human Flaw
Disheartened by the persistent rain,
the sun has gone; only clouds remain.
And tears encompass both time and space;
as they fall within my hurting place.

Nature can't console betrayal's pain;
unconcerned that my trust was in vain.
Seasons came and went, yet nothing changed;
the scenery just got rearranged.

Starting to recall...

Home invaders
Climbed the fence;
Huffed,
Puffed,
And blew the windows in,
Suddenly, they're inside a mansion.
They came prepared
With large duffel bags.
They grabbed all they could -
A family heirloom,
Jewelry,
Knickknacks, etc.
Then one walks out to the balcony
And a caged parrot locks eyes
With the stranger,
Bows its head, thinking -

"Please, don't...

Flower Without Flaw
Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Won't you please show me my flaws?
Beauty is not what I seek,
It's the defect that make one's weak.
I'd hate to be blinded by perfection
Such ideals I cannot thirst.
One can't gain without knowing their loss.
So mirror,
What can be worst
Than seeing only the...

Recognizing the topmost personality flaw

Spring's classic charm - highly overrated,
Perhaps because it follows winter sleet.
Its new beginnings too animated,
Its poetic praise rather obsolete.

Forget the fragrant flowers’ faulty fact,
They come with mucky, rainy, fungal soil,
Outraging my respiratory tract,
Sending my sinuses into turmoil.

Way worse...

The Unveiled Flaw
It started when I had no shape,
At home or school no place to escape.
People judged me and mocked my fate.
It was so terrible, Yes!! I was overwieght.

Concealed myself behind that door,
Trapped by the walls that helped me ignore.
Thinking of ways to aid me and raise,
Resolve...

Claw Flaw

small kitty cat
had but one flaw
he couldn’t count
the missing claw

so when his claw count
totaled seven
he thought he’d
cheated “kitty heaven”

when he thought
he was just fine
he learned he’d squandered
number nine

claw counting days
now sadly done
his feathered wings
still missing one

Premium Member Your Fatal Flaw
You seemed to be perfection in my eyes
Everything of beauty in you I saw
Your pure honesty left no place for lies
But alas, I’ve found your one fatal flaw

“What could this flaw be?” You ask me so sweet
Certain the answer could not be that grave
“If I...

Flaw
Tell me not, in sweet voices
That life is a beautiful place.
Life is but a devoid of poise!

A place where confidence embraces Cowardice giving room to everything that Seems to have no shape of elegance.

Tell me not, in sweet voices
That life is full of hope.
Life...

Premium Member Being Human
In my mind
Where silent thoughts
Reveal the truth, the depths
Of my hopes, dreams and feelings…
There is a piercing voice
One who announces my flaws
The faults which remind me that
I am human and humans err
Sometimes badly
Other times, sadly
And still other times, madly
I am a human and I stumble
Both...

AFFILIATION TO WHOSE LAW

If I was law unto myself
What would I be?
Where would I go?
What would I say?
Would I in such a way
Be free?
Or be shown a dark
And narrow path,
Which would purposely
Divert my way?
Would it excite me,
To greet each day
With confidence,
That my every deed
My every...
