Premium Member Faerie Felt Awe Surrounds the Lake
Daffodil majorettes lead the spring parade
Mom fox had lured out a reluctant kit
Verdant grasses are growing lovely shade
For dainty dulcet purple violet

Gentle nurturing rain from day or two
Coaxes her lace lilac to gently wake
Meadow rainbow chiffon a lovely hue.
Faerie-felt awe surrounds beautiful lake.

Carpet of tulips...

The Foothills Felt No Breeze
A few moments past twilight,
half a moment before blackfall,
I was sure there’d be time enough
and light enough
to return to the bodies I’d left behind.
My lifelong friends followed me,
we quaked under the bridge,
through the narrow tunnel,
up the steep, narrow footpath,
through the second tunnel.
We saw them...

"Felt"

some people
have magic
in their bones
it speaks
another language
silencing the
Kurdaitcha Man
seen pointing
unnecessarily
without conviction

time is ours
in this endless place
we circle rings
rippling our marks
deep within trees
depositing stories
they breathe
us in
we breathe
them out

gifting
their leaves
we fall softly
crumpling
under others’ feet

the stories
conveyed
and transferred
replenish...

Drops of rain off Winters' pelt,

pelt Earth into refrain below

Below the soil, as spring is felt,

felt springs uncoil through melting snow

Premium Member More Felt Than Heard
The Sea sighs under distant skies,
spinning stories of love and fear.
And when the wind whispers tall tales,
old seamen cup their ears to hear.

Prospects of fabulous treasures,
gives imagination a stir.
And like a siren, the Sea calls
salty sailors, to come to Her.

She sings along with humpback whales,
while...

Premium Member A Presence We Felt
Though alone, he appeared day after day.
We couldn’t see him, and he could not stay.
Reverently, we each began to pray,
listening quietly for what he would say.

Then we’d just know in an unknown way.
We knew somehow, we’d not be led astray.
Like fresh fruit, his words before...

"felt Season"
The naked trees have melted
their colors to the ground...
The cool air wilts the flowers
and steals the birds sound...
The vision is chilled and profound...

Premium Member I Felt Your Love
I felt your love within my soul;
fueling passion in my heart.
Though hope's known to levy a toll,
I fell in love right from the start.

Now, nothing can keep us apart;
for fate is in complete control.
And whenever we had to part,
I felt your love within my soul.

Facing...

Premium Member I Felt An Ache Inside
A frightened boy, I felt an ache inside
for not liking girls as other boys did.
And I still remember the nights I cried;
for feeling feelings that the Lord forbid.

Consumed by a relentless ache, I hid
my feelings, for they left me petrified.
And I wasn't brave like a...

Premium Member I Have Never Felt So Loved
Cosmos magic assails me, delights me, entices me.
Heavenly bliss smiles upon my willingness to become one.
Spiritual energy lifts me, inspires me.
Ascending, I transmute
A star now, I smile at my empty chair.

Other stars congregate around me. Welcome back, they whisper.
Not in a voice, but in...

Premium Member Once I felt pain

My loving dog !
I once felt pain-
he stood beside me
with his usual glee,
wondering why fate
decreed he would
be born
as a hound
despite the abundant
divine qualities
within his faithful heart.

Half Felt
I felt you that night
more clearly than any wound
the tears i bled
from the things we said
it made even the angels swoon

i felt inside something not there
something about you didn't seem to care
have i failed you once too many times
is that why i am unforgiven of...

I Felt Trumped
There was a possibility of snow.
I looked out on a chilly white scene,
reflecting that extremes of weather are
matched by extremes of political fronts.
	The season hangs its head
		under a burden.

Out for a walk with 'Duke', I ducked
under snow-laden branches,
but it was the beast of...

Premium Member So Sad For Her Felt Bad For Her
He thought it was a rude slight
The rudest one he’d had all night.
She had no idea he felt this way.
She was truly only trying to play.
Her sarcasm was not too bright.

She had shoved him away with all her might.
By using blatant sarcasm that night.
Not knowing...
