Premium Member Falling In Love - Lay

Let eyes meet, let them spark a fire
Let rhythms sing to music of lyre

Let heartbeats of joy write our song
In moods of kisses yearned for long

Let blushing cheeks welcome romance
Enchanting heart's seductive dance

Let winds of love ignite our flame
As night, ecstatic, croons your name

Falling In Love

Ever been infatuated
You just can't explain it
Words won't do
You'll never contain it
And you know what it leads to
Oh my, oooh oooh
I'm falling in love

Crazy excited
I think I'm floating on air
Take time to smell the roses
Love's fragrance everywhere
Spring in my step
Girl, this is cloud nine
Always thinking about you
Can't wait till you're mine

Ever been infatuated
You just can't explain it
Words won't do
You'll never contain it
And you know what it leads to
Oh my, oooh oooh
I'm falling in love

She's my future
Her name makes me smile
Right now she doesn't notice
But she will after awhile
Yeah, soon head over hills
She'll have a bad case for me
My friends say they don't see it
But true love is meant for me

Ever been infatuated
You just can't explain it
Words won't do
You'll never contain it
And you know what it leads to
Oh my, oooh oooh
I'm falling in love

I'm falling in love
It's crazy
I'm falling in love
Oh baby
I'm in love with you

~Lyric Man

Note: I almost titled this song "Infatuated", it's an upbeat pop lyric about a guy who is completely smitten with a girl (who doesn't even know the guy exist). This guy is so "crazy in love" that it doesn't even matter, not yet anyway. I hope you enjoy this fun song about the joy of infatuation.

Premium Member Falling In Love With a Raccoon

The raccoon was brazen
Bold, devilishly handsome
I fell in love quickly
I know. Raccoons are no good for opossums
But the heart wants who the heart wants.

We met on a warm day
in the throes of summer
He was eating cat food when I arrived
to the consternation of a gray tabby
who was sitting on a prissy
large-flowered puffy porch chair.

“spoiled princess”, the gentleman said
with his large bandit eyes.
“brat probably” I replied, demurely, flicking my pink tail.
He stopped eating and looked at me for second.
Wandered off porch, giving me the rest of the food.

Lights began flickering on and off.
I thought it was lightning at first
Then a large WallyGeemer tromped out.
He was in his underwear.
I flipped to my side, pretending dead.
“EDNA!” the WallyGeemer screamed.

I had heard this voice before.
It is a voice of fear.
He went back inside and slammed the door.
I was halfway back to the marsh when the
generous Raccoon stepped into my path.
“Would you um like to um…”
“Of course,” I said.
And we did.

A Poem About Falling In Love With Yourself (Finding Yourself)

Strange,never thought id be in love again.Until i meet you,such a sweet friend.You is I.Yeah i
love me!been every place seen everything my eyes did see.Allowed all my tears to flow onto
your Mulato skin, drying them with your hand, only to liy with me then.Placed your hand under
my chin to hold it high, and when i refused to love you...you never said goodbye. You stayed
as if to say,ill be here one more day, when i wanted us to end.Such a
caring, patient, sympathetic friend. You have comforted my soul and made me wise, lose the
ties that have tried to bind me.Opend your eyes so that I may see.And when i stood for
nothing you stood for me.When i hated you,and wanted you dead, you refused to leave my
head...until i accepted it and let it be.And i love you so much now that ive learned to love me.

The lightest steps come when love is in bloom,
And hearts yearn to open in full display
Enter this garden, the time we consume
To dissolve and quietly float away
Tender fingers merge like a woven lace
In anticipation, the coming days
Love opens its heart in a warm embrace
To face this new world with its blues and grays
Where the kindest eyes pierce deep to express
To dream of hearts binding ever tighter
A sanctuary where lovers confess
And the heart once dark is glowing brighter
Along the farthest hills where lovers go.
Are two silhouettes, with love's afterglow

Falling In Love With a Poet

Falling in love with a poet

If you fall in love with a poet
Pray that your days be long
She can heal you with her sonnets
She can nurse you with her magical songs
Her word is like a bullet
In heart it goes deep and long
Even if you are low and desperate
She can make you feel strong
Sometimes you have to forget
The world you truly belong
What do you make of such a goddess?
Who sets your life free
You are feeling out of place
She makes you stand tall like a tree
Knowing you have such a firm base
You are lucky you have to agree
For I feel in love with a poet
My prayer is now a short say
I’ve one petition in my heart
Just a wish for her to stay
When my life is tearing a part
She works it like clay
Its not long way since we met
But let me have this to say
I know she is working very hard
Because she feels my pain
She takes it with her very hand
She mends it with her pen
My life was but desert sand
She fell upon me like drop of rain
And now she means my whole world
That she has given me to reign
My inside weighs more than the words
With which I’m trying to explain.

Falling In Love

Falling in love

Caught in a web that a spider is spinning
Counting his legs as I notice him grinning
Perhaps a dream that is just now beginning
I must be falling in love

Singing a song while the music is playing
Don’t know the words, I make up what I’m saying
I can’t stop dancing, my body is swaying
I must be falling in love

Running a race down a path that is bending
Seeking to finish, I know it is pending
Sweating so much it could be never ending
I must be falling in love

Chasing the moon that is constantly shining
Waving my hands as if stars I’m designing
Even with Elm trees I’m forever pining
I must be falling in love

Picking up petals another is dropping
Sweeter than vanilla butter cream topping
Delicious moments there’s no sense in stopping
I must be falling in love

Hitting a drum in a cadence that’s pounding
Played in a very nice rhythm, astounding
Just like a heartbeat in spring it is sounding
I must be falling in love

Writing a poem with words that I’m feeling
Every desire your beauty revealing
Asking your hand as I’m carefully kneeling
I must be falling in love

Now as I stare in your perfect eyes glowing
Feeling affection they’re constantly showing
Finding each day of my life I am knowing
With you I've fallen in love

Falling In Love

Love is like a bottomless pit,
it is neverending,
somewhat terrifying,
and I'm fallng in love.

Love is like a vast ocean,
it seems endless,
and now I'm diving,
and I'm falling in love.

Falling In Love With a Writer Is a Faulty Design

Falling in Love with a Writer is a Faulty Design
We see things that other females
don’t pay a tuppence to.
Like a half-burned cigarette tail,
Your osculation of deep, dense rouge—
A secret trusted only by two.
With our own hands, we mimic time
And manipulate the world you once knew.
Falling in love with a writer is a faulty design.

To your heart, we assail
With words plunked to a tune;
In your soul, with great force, we impale.
From a love-front angle of view
You might feel a tad misconstrued,
like a poorly mixed cocktail.
Ricochet from baseline to fault line,
But every time you pull through ‘cause you knew,
That falling in love with a writer is a broken design.

When we close our eyes and slowly inhale;
We hear the laughter of a family in an empty room
And unveil the retold, recycled tales.
Picturing why the dust rests less heavily on one broom,
And can smell the meal Ma cooked when they came home from school.
From the underworld and past the skyline,
We scour everything down to its last detail.
Falling in love with a writer is a grueling design.

To us, your eyes flourish like flowers in June
With lips– silky like cabernet wine.
And although sometimes we forget to say we love you,
Remember that falling in love with a writer can be a beautiful design.

Sweet-nothings of lover cooing like dove
A poem lovely as falling in love

A mating fervor of a smitten glance
An indulgence of impending romance

Invigorating sight of dazzled eyes
Unspoken dialogue passions surmise

Emboldening zeal of ecstatic dream
Strumming lyrical, mellifluous theme

Elixir of life cheering beguiled hearts
In blazing vibes enamored love imparts

Bowing to love as emotions cajole
Falling in love writes a poem of soul

Falling In Love Isn'T Hard To Do

For the life of me I can't understand,
Why you can't fall in love.
I never bring roses on a first date,
Always opting for a live dove.
You hit the linoleum so quick,
Without even the slightest shove.

As the front door slammed,
off your feet you were knocked.
Almost fell off the chair,
As you drank whilst I talked
Tripped over my left foot,
As we danced interlocked.

Almost passed out with,
An allergic reaction to steak?
Jumped out of my car before,
I could even hit the brake.
Broke year heel running away,
Tumbling over the hidden rake.

You're lucky I caught you when,
You fell back from my first kiss.
This whole night has been,
Full of the 'falling' near miss.
Fall in love with me one more time, I know,
I will sweep you off you feet into eternal bliss.

Falling In Love

Could I be falling in love with you all over again,
even though we have been together for years,
all of the laughter and all of the tears, I am falling
in love all over again.
Could I be falling for someone that I already know
so well, No one else could catch my heart,
for you, I have already fell.
Could I be falling in love with you all over again,
even though we have been together for years,
all of the laughter and all of the tears, I have fell
in love with you all over again.

The mind is a verb
It does very many things
Poet captures them with words
Makes one touch and feel
The brain’s complex emotions
As anyone falls in love

Not This Rose

I saw a dazzling rose,
Whose red petals cast blinding hues upon me.
She shot her cupid arrows from the Kabaka’s backyard,
And punctured the cocoon of my innocence.

My heart burnt for a feel of her spangled petals,
My ferocious passions lost their sturdy grip on restraint as
I, like a pollen-famished bee, sniffed her whiff;
I gorged on her rosy scent, like a Don Quixote.

Then, I plucked her off the tribal bough;
And navigated the Nile River with her,
Tacked in the valves of my heart,
For a cross boarder allogamy.

What a welcome from my kinsfolk!
Furrows ridging the faces of my kinsmen,
Spittle of disgust masticating the hungry soils,
Grey beards wagging and waging a silent war;
 Alien!

Falling In Love With a Photo

My Notes: You May find it difficult to understand the situation in this poem, so did I, but not in the reading. I’m a hack Poet at best, which is why I didn’t submit it in the contest about rising above reality. When I finish the short story on the events this poem is based it will be come apparent, and like me you will say; “WHAT?” .
