Best Faithful Poems
Believing that marriage was ordained of God;
that, like a seed, it needed constant nurturing,
she sowed her deep devotion with a hope
that stretched beyond an ordinary scope;
scanned schisms that had left her desolate-
until it reached the heavens with her prayers.
With unusual restraint, she held her tongue
countless times. . . and listened.
If matrimony were the fire in a hearth,
she supplied the kindling and the logs;
then lauded him for twigs
that on occasion he tossed in.
Some nights she’d lay a weary head
upon the chest of one she called her husband
(when he was fast asleep and didn’t know).
and she'd feel the beat of a heart he wouldn’t show.
With humbleness she supplicated God
that she might find connection with her mate.
She wondered and she wondered why. . .
if thoughts, invisible, which were transmitted
to the Lord, by Him were then received,
why could not her words directly spoken
to the one on earth she loved, be heard?
Daily on her knees, she telegraphed celestially
with faith extraordinary. . . and wisdom came.
Her love would not be broken, and she grew.
The seed she’d planted too
took root and grew until there came a time. . .
she laid a greying head upon the chest
of one that was her husband(not in word alone),
who watched her as she drifted off to sleep.
With his heartbeat strong in her ear,
she heard him whisper softly, “I love you”
as he kissed her cheek. “Goodnight.”

No, not a geyser,
Not a woman,
Old faithful sits
Patiently in my kitchen,
Awaiting my need for her
Old faithful is an organ,
Rich velvety tones
Growls when I ask her
Or spits, or even moans...
What a companion
She does make
No need for deception,
No room for fake...
She's gotten me through,
Many a rough time
She asks no questions
She's guilty of no crime
Her teeth, bared...
Ready to rock
She needs no food,
She reads no clock
She takes me away
On many a mystic trip
As we soar together
Joined at the hip
So keep your guitars,
Your trumpets, your bass
This girl is mine,
Smiling toothy face.
McGee was sitting by himself
In a quiet corner of the pub
Then softly closed the book he’d been reading
And gave it, a pat and a rub
When Finn walked in and saw McGee
He headed right to his table
As Finn sat down he wore a frown
For recognized the book by its label
He said to McGee “You don’t really believe
All the things that’s been writ in this book”
“Yes I do, and why? Don’t you?”
Said McGee with a puzzling look
Finn reached for the book and opened it wide
To the first page he’d chosen by chance
Finn pointed his finger down to a page
And both Finn and McGee took a glance
It spoke of a man who was swallowed alive
And stayed in the fish for three days
Then after three days he was spat on the beach
And stood up and walked on his way
“Now I ask you McGee, how can a man
Live through such a arduous task ”,
“I don’t know, said McGee ‘but the day I’m in heaven’
When I see him, I’ll be sure to ask”
“How do you know which place he would go
It might NOT be heaven”, said Finn
“Well if that is the case” McGee said in hast
“I’ll leave it to You, to ask him”
To say the universe always existed violates every concept of our logic.
The origin of our totality could not have been a spontaneous event.
A beginning requires a beginner. We have no concept of what always was, except by supplanting what might be with what is through faith. Faith permits us to believe the incredible, which means; extraordinary things do not always require empiricle evidence.
Faith is unconstructed. It's a gift. It's either presented to you through conviction, or it's not. You eiher possess it, or you do not.
With faith, we know love and with love we find strength. Without faith, love cannot exist and without love, existance would be inconsequential.
To deny the existance of God is to doubt the love in our own significance...
Writers love their letters,
letters turn into words.
Words turn into sentences,
waiting to be read.
Poems come from writing,
writing about the past.
Maybe from the present,
maybe true or false.
As a faithful reader,
we laugh we cry.
Many love to read,
yet again and again.
The reader and writer,
then become as one.
Both in love with,
letters-words-sentences-reading.
A faithful friend
trust me
even though I can be
somewhat unreliable
A faithful friend
believe in me
even though I tell
which may seem incredibly
A faithful friend
listen to me
even though I say
something stupid
A faithful friend
will always listen
to what I have
to convey

I saw a death shadow in the eyes of my infancy
a soft mercy with calm blue fancy,
in childhood, when free will asserted it's wild supremacy
we sang of star charriots and laughter loyal to hyperactivity,
I see a death shadow in the prime of my ascendancy
outlining my temple of truth, whistling thy words of wizardry,
I hear It like the madness of morning's ending,
I taste It as if from the burning breast milk of a Dragoness,
I see It in the bleeding smile of my heart's kindness,
I speak to It when love's luster unlocks the lunacy of loneliness,
I feel the humble shade of It's jade justice in a world hot and hustling,
My death shadow has a surface sweet with patient purpose,
It is not rough with forboding frost that frights the fight of flesh,
rattling the scythe of doom and cackling for cataleptic crisis it does not,
It is not a grim God or a greedy Goddess, no taxing terror trumpeted,
It has never been an angel of escape or a demon of dour delirium,
when suffering becomes a seduction of brute beauty I share in it's wise joy,
my death shadow follows the desperate yet disciplined form of my body battle
through life's plethora of coy poisons and possessive passions,
marching along side me with martial grace, sculpting my face with lion spirit -

Merciful and loving Father,
Thank You for forgiving my faults and flaws
and fortifying me with the favor of Your friendship.
I fervently vow to You, my fidelity and loyalty.
I will be Your faithful servant forever,
for You are my fortress in times of great fear.
Sovereign Shepherd, You offered Your firstborn Son
as a sacrificial savior for the sins of mankind.
I will follow in His footsteps, forgiving others
as You so frequently save me from my failings.
My Divine Father, my Friend, my God,
I'm fond of feasting on the fine fruits
of the Holy words offered to Your fold...
the fealty of Your devout flock, and I face my future
with forbearance, as prophecies are being fulfilled.

Bare-branched the woodland trees, edging the lake
Young Pen glided alone without a mate
Graceful her strokes, nary a wave or wake
I watched and wondered, what would be her fate
He circled her before landing nearby
Handsome Cob, but friend or foe would he be
She turned away from him, wary and shy
No trumpet called. No intent decreed.
In circles they swam until their wings brushed
Eyes lifted, in that moment they both knew
Tenderly, with necks entwined, her cheeks flushed
She followed him to a stand of bamboo
Intimate calls were whisperings each night
'til away they flew, together in flight
Came the time of twilight and winds shifted
Upon lake waters brewed cause for worry
When in sorrow it had seemed they'd drifted
Woe to hearts if it ended their story
Spring was on nigh, but grey clouds filled the sky
Pen feared her Cob would abandon their bed
She cried thinking he would tell her, 'goodbye'
Ripples on the lake, hope hung by a thread
Together or apart, their reflection.
She pleaded with him, "I want nothing more
than to give you my love and affection."
He drew her near, "It's you that I adore."
Tale of Pen and Cob continues today
Faithful in love, they're nesting on the quay

The night felt so warm
with the moon lit bright.
I heard the sounds of water
with pebbles tumbling free.
Oh faithful sea
you soothe my soul.
You crash so hard
then you are calm.
Oh faithful sea
you captivate me.
The next day turned cool
as clouds filled the sky.
My toes wiggling in the sand
as I listened to your waves break.
Oh faithful sea
you soothe my soul.
You crash so hard
then you are calm.
Oh faithful sea
you captivate me.
Upon hours spent, little hope is lent
To a far more pleasing incandescent light
A hue of clockless space seen upon its face
Aggravating the light into a speckled fright
Futuristic visions, are merely illusions
Yet ne’er doth the lie cease to glisten
And many wait with a faith hard to trace
Lost in a teleported reverie of lasting confusion
