Oh Faithful Sea

The night felt so warm
with the moon lit bright.
I heard the sounds of water
with pebbles tumbling free.
Oh faithful sea
you soothe my soul.
You crash so hard
then you are calm.
Oh faithful sea
you captivate me.
The next day turned cool
as clouds filled the sky.
My toes wiggling in the sand
as I listened to your waves break.
Oh faithful sea
you soothe my soul.
You crash so hard
then you are calm.
Oh faithful sea
you captivate me.

Thank you so much. I'm curious about your last name...that is my maiden name...Gauthier. Are you related to any Gauthier's from Vermont?

Yes, I have to agree with Vince - there is nothing more beautiful than the sea having lived beside it in two different places and two different oceans.. Lovely poem..
