Never got to say all I needed too..
Motionless words as this bird flew..
Now I look out my window to reach
your mind..
I talk to the sky and send feelings
that are kind..
On a quiet night when your thoughts
are clear..
Out your window they fly with no harm
or fear..
If you smile for no reason, I'll know why..
Maybe just a few have reached your eyes..
For PD's contest... The reason I picked this piece is because this past month I was able to hear from this lady for whom I wrote this piece about.. I emailed it to her and she was so grateful that I still cared enough to write for her..It gave us closer and helped us both realize why we are better where we are now... love doesn't stop it just gets transformed into a better friendship...
A mass of thoughts cascade upon my chest
each day that night comes
for I hover day by day at your door's step
but I see not your appearance
Flood of thoughts run within my mind
time to time that tic-tock of the clock
goes without a seconds wait
for I hover over emails I send each time
but I see not your reply
Wave of thoughts spill over my sense
I trudge around with heavy head
miss you
Imiss your uplifting words
Autumn leaves heavy with thoughts
for they awaiting your early morning sprinkle
miss you
miss you my lovely friend.
Note: A dedicate to a friend whose her words had for long heard, although I'm to blame. She emailed me then,"therein, I know she wanted to tell me something," but I was ill, I cannot stare at light. therefore I didn't check her mail for some days. Each day by day now I'm confusing...
Where were you?
When I called?
When I drove to your house?
When I emailed?
Where were you?
When I needed you the most?
You said you'll be there
by my side at all times.
No matter what happens
You said you'd cal back
if I called with no answer.
You said everything would be alright
and I believed you.
Where were you?
The day we was to go out?
I called
you didnt answer or call back.
I emailed
you never responded
I drove to your house
you wasnt there.
Is there another girl??
If there is.....tell me.
I dont want to sit
waste time
to hear from you.
Is she pretty? Ugly?
Skinny? Fat?
Blonde? Brunette?
What is she like?
Fun? Boring?
Stupid? Smart?
Nice? Mean?
I need to know.
Where were you
lemme know
so I dont have to worry.
Where Are You??
“Good morning, morning all;
Oh, my may God continue to bless you so;
Abundantly in your creative journey
May you find the way?
I need to confirm, this day;
To convey,
The purpose only;
Finding your love O’ Lord;
And it gives me the push I need to confirm;
That I’m on the right way…
Well, that I’, on the right way see;
I am looking for continued, continual blessings…
As I sojourn this quilted beaten path;
I am so glad that you’ve shown me Lord O God;
Where I’m truly at…
That I’m on the right path;
Like a pep talk before a big game;
You call me out by my name;

Oral Presentation of a Poem
Introduction
This poem to me God Himself imparted
Even if you happen to be heavy hearted
Should always stick around for a while
God will greet you with a great big smile.
Poem Itself
Have heard that only to certain degrees
But yet not ever can you perfectly please
Someone with personal poem you wrote;
All of the time it took and had to devote.
Are all pretty picky with their criticism
Knowing my poems have much witticism
Intention was detected as being quite clear
Bringing on great happiness and good cheer.
A few might leave you somewhat spellbound
With some words not seeming safe and sound
That perhaps in a poem were meant to be
A soliloquy which had designs of hostility.
Sadness, sin with a wanting to repent
May be among few poems I emailed and sent;
Are an example of how hard people tried
Then in end few tried and committed suicide.
Which one of them was it you would prefer
To be everlasting and continue to endure;
Poet Laureate soon was on one bright day
When I find out oral poetry will be best way.

I was sick of seeing one plate, fork, and knife
And that lonely cup of drink
As if I was a piece in a painted still life
Like those dishes placed in the sink
So I clicked on a dating site as the others
Seeking a fine baby boomer
And in time chose one of the likeliest lovers
Who laughed at my sense of humor.
We emailed, and Facebooked and tweeted on Twitter
Then Skyped every single night
Though we lived far away, I knew I wouldn’t quit her
‘Til we got our liaison right.
We transmitted vows over the wireless sky
And kept each of them sweet and short
Then after being pronounced, husbandwidth and wifi
We kissed through a USB port

I just saw her one day when I took a quick look at Ebay.
And I just don't really know why but she just drew me to her too.
I quickly emailed her owner who told me that she was a haunted one!
Yet I thought to myself~ "It's just a doll that I am seeing with my eyes".
Well I just bid on her and won her that same day.
I asked the seller more questions about her and again she reassured me.
She insisted that my doll was the host to a human spirit she's seen and talked to.
No! She informed she wasn't evil at all~ she was just a nice spirit a haunted one!
So I sent for my supposedly haunted doll right away ~ just the next day.
But part of me still didn't believe it~ I kept saying she just cannot be!
That sounded creepy to me- a haunted doll with a real ghost around me.
It was something that I didn't really need it each night and day you see.
The more I thought about it the less I believed it could happen to me.
My very pretty porcelain doll can't just be a haunted one!
I am a born skeptical person you know~ just like most of you.
Yet I've seen so many things called "paranormal" over the years.
Well here I got me a haunted doll now- and I got her from ebay.
Is she a man a woman or child~ I just don't know that for sure to this day.
But my pretty doll seems to be the haunted spirit of a girl-she's a haunted one!
She doesn't say much~ she just stands there on display for me.
I can feel her presence at night and all thru the day too.
She doesn't leave me alone ~ she lives home with me.
She's shown herself to me~ I've caught her with my own eyes.
I can't believe it but I got me this time a haunted doll at E-bay.
I paid for her quite a little bit of money if you asked me.
Before this I didn't know much about any haunted doll you see.
I wasn't much of a believer before but now I know my doll is a haunted one!
Don't get me wrong I'll still keep her with me~ I'm okay and she's happy with me.
I keep her very close to me by - And I am not afraid of her in any way.
I've grown quite fond of her by now after all these nights and days.
She doesn't say much~ she just sits there on display for me sometimes too.
She's the real deal you see~ she not just a pretty doll, but, a haunted one too.
Order or Sequence of Events
When with my poems I soon reach an end
To everyone all of them will start to send
First to those whose minds have been bright
Who will enjoy them all and in delight.
Second will be those of a religious sort
Who in their faith seem to need support
Encourage them and Bible began to study
Which should be done by every buddy.
Now, third I'm thinking might really be
For those who comfort and support only me
Especially, primarily those in a great group
We love so much called Poetry Soup with scrup.
Fourth, I'm sure will be family and friends
Who on the computer much time spends
Putting up with poems I emailed to them
Who might need research of a cell called stem.
Lastly, are all of those who once were
Of poetic ability but at times not sure;
To them this kindly advice have to offer
If poems are moving see effect known as Doppler.

PS. Scrup is short for scruples
Seen by eyes which have pupils.
Do I really know you
although I call you friend
Friends made in cyberspace
disappear with no end
Do I really know you
just from your written word
Putting so much trust in that
seems rather absurd
Your words chosen 'careful'
your face I cannot see
Can I really know if
you're a friend to me
As said about the internet
you can be what you want to be
So are you really what you say
or are you deceiving me.
(Dedicated to a my best cyber friend ever.. RIP Gayle Stanley.. We became friends online, for 2 years we joined groups together, we talked about trusting people online, and eventually emailed or chatted almost everyday about out families and life and then she suddenly disappeared. She had MS, but had more drive and spirit than most people I know.)
I'm having trouble leaving comments that I find frustrating
Soup have kindly emailed me saying they are investigating
Yesterday I tried leaving comments and a couple did get through
Then that frightful message appeared that turned the air blue.
I even wrote about it in a blog to throw light on the situation
So you'd know I wasnt ignoring you that would'nt be my intention
It happens on my tablet and even on my smartphone
And from the comments I've read; I know I'm not alone.
Russians, Chinese and aliens have all come to mind
But realistically I'm pretty sure a gremlin they will find
Though why this is happening? remains a dark mystery
And its adding fuel to the fire of some dark conspiracy.
I've made contact with some poets away from the site
They too are in agreement that something is not right
Ive added screenshots as proof so that you can all see
I'm confident they'll find the problem and restore my sanity.
Or maybe I'm in a nightmare and everyone has me blocked
Thinking that I'm some sort of troll, well I'm truly shocked
It certainly wasn't me that stole someone's verses of rhyme
If that was the case soup would ban me for a long time.

BE CAREFUL WHO YOU GIVE POWER OF ATTORNEY TO,
COS THEY CAN TURN ON YOU, AND MAKE YOUR LIFE INTO HELL 2016
Frank hangs on the hook at University.
He willed his body to science.
Frank got a girlfriend carer 3 years ago, he was in love and signed the house over to her.
Steve his 60 year old son in Canada had become his Enduring Power of Attorney on a very rare visit to his dad.
Steve could not get into Australia, when he heard from his dad the house was gone, no money coming to him?
Steve screamed Fraud and used Franks Canada pension to get lawyered up and stop Frank from drawing an Aussie pension.
So Frank was penniless, the girlfriend Mary was banned from hospitals and nursing homes forthwith, even though Mary was the defacto.
So Frank sulked himself to death, refused to eat or take any medication, the nursing staff thought him demented, but he could still play chess and win when he had a computer online.
I emailed the nursing home att:, Sister so and so , also left them a message on the phone they don't answer, att: Sister so and so. Frank has no hearing aids so he can't hear you, he needs Mary to visit.
Mary a Maori woman was blacklisted from Canada and Frank died ...

candy yams- smellin' like spam...I like green eggs, and maybe some ham
lookin' like Gina, but with a shape like Pam...
I called and emailed her a dozen times, like spam
...she never liked me, always told me to scat and scram...
I'm tellin' you, she had a body like WHAM! and if I could touch her, I'd be like damn!
...in my dreams...we make love and we ram...
all night long, we just bam...
I want to get with her one day and we'll be a happy fam...
cause the perfect catch for her, is what I am...
why don't you like me...huhh excuse me mam...
about my feelings I'm not lying to you, this is no scam
we could go out for breakfast, did I mention I like green eggs and possibly ham?
...I'm so obsessed, it's like I'm possessed...I look thru her window and take pictures with my cam...
hopin' I could get my jelly and we could make it jam...
...cause she's so fine, she so sexy, she's just so glam
close my eyes, count 1, 2, 3...she will be with me
AL LA KAAZAM!
Green eggs and ham
A neighbor got a lovely gift
Of lemons, but too much
For her to use so, neighborly,
She chose to get in touch.
She emailed with an offer
That her bounty she would share
Since even after using some,
She still had lots to spare.
I told her I would take a few
And thanked her, just to find
She’d left an overflowing bag,
By my front door, behind.
With way too many, I did try
To send a big bunch back
But she declined, quite sure I’d use
Each lemon in the sack.
A recipe for lemon cookies,
Using juice and zest,
Appealed to me; I made a batch
But, truth be told, at best
They were so mediocre
They were barely fit to eat,
Not lemony enough and yet
Too far from being sweet.
You might suspect this failure
Left me saddened and dismayed,
But I’ll follow that old saying
And just make some lemonade!
Mido Macia 1986 - 2013
Mido Macia was a 27 year old Mozambican man, working in Daveyton near Johannesburg as a taxi-driver, who was found dead in a police cell, after police savagely dragged Mr. Macia whom they had tied to their police van.
The brutal incident of Mr. Macia being dragged was caught on camera and has shocked South Africa.
The 8 police officers involved are facing charges of murder, and have been suspended from the South African Police Service (SAPS).
This poem is an angry poem that I felt had to be written, because as a society, we need to ask ourselves and each other the hardest questions about xenophobia and intolerance and violence.
Mido Macia 1986 - 2013
Death came to Mido Macia,
a savage, brutal, hellish death came to Mido Macia.
Death came to Mido Macia,
death dressed-up in the colours of authority,
as callous, vile, sadistic policemen murdered Mido Macia.
The video-footage is blood-curdling,
Mido Macia being dragged,
his hands tied behind him,
to a police van.
But death came later to Mido Macia,
death cheered, clapped, and tore into Mido Macia.
Death came to Mido Macia,
in the cells where they murdered Mido Macia.
Death came to Mido Macia,
a fuelled, cheered-on, instigated death came to Mido Macia.
We are all culpable,
every one of us is culpable,
from racist 'jokes' emailed and texted,
to self-righteous comments about the 'foreigners',
from casual dinner-table conversations,
'they take our jobs',
'they are crooks'
the 'they marry our women' kind of lunch-time chats,
racist, xenophobic, hate-filled talk,
to beating a human-being to death in a police cell,
or on the streets of Cape Town, Johannesburg ,
and in Daveyton,
where death came to Mido Macia.
Mido Macia 1986 - 2013
I never saw him coming nor did I feel his shadowy presence. Not to mention that no one informed me of his visitation.
Not all 'bang bangs' are created equal with bells and whistles. Clueless, it was simply me and him, head-on and face to face.
How was I supposed to know, having never met him before?
Oh, I had heard of him and that I would no doubt meet him 'someday'.
But 'someday' is a very long time, especially when you are busy with life. I knew others who had befriended him, but not many people I knew liked him.
Anyway, I was looking forward to meeting him "someday" with the understanding that my life did not have to be radically changed by him.
I had places to go and things to do and no time for 'Mr. Aging' to creep up on me. Anyway, he never called, emailed, texted, or informed me in any kind of way that he was intent on paying me a visit for the very first time. So it's no wonder I was surprised when he just showed up at my kitchen table as I was
reading a roadmap.
That's right, Mr. Aging just showed up unannounced one day and said in his own quiet way, "Hello, these eyes I've had for some 49 years can use a little help because the print is too small to see". It was Mr. Aging speaking to me, and that was the way we met for the very first time.
