Kind Feelings

Never got to say all I needed too.. Motionless words as this bird flew.. Now I look out my window to reach your mind.. I talk to the sky and send feelings that are kind.. On a quiet night when your thoughts are clear.. Out your window they fly with no harm or fear.. If you smile for no reason, I'll know why.. Maybe just a few have reached your eyes.. For PD's contest... The reason I picked this piece is because this past month I was able to hear from this lady for whom I wrote this piece about.. I emailed it to her and she was so grateful that I still cared enough to write for her..It gave us closer and helped us both realize why we are better where we are now... love doesn't stop it just gets transformed into a better friendship...

some thing that keps coming back lately, like a verse forming, is that those I love become part of my soul. Distance and death doesn't steal that love. Souls connected never part. Even after they leave I still breathe that love, and the connection still beats. SO much of your poems I've read talk of this love and remind me of life still here. and again thank you

Hello Michael, I could 't end my week without reading one of your poems causing my eyes and heart to tear. I keep a box of kleenex here at my desk now Michael. This is so going into my favorites. Your words are sent from above I think Lov, Shar
