THE ROSE

T~hirty-two steps through the yellow-green grass led me to you.
H~aving to choose which one; my heart with no doubt chose you.
E~very rose bloomed quite differently, though nothing meretricious like you.

R~ed is known to be the favorite color to man; color blinded; my soul desired you.
O~f all the roses, my senses were captivated and comely to you.
S~ome men may pick more than one rose; but, I only want you.
E~ven mother nature so pulchritudinous can't compare to you.

SUBLIME

Sublime
I've been shedding snakeskin...
so blind
I've been destroying the noise
my worst enemy

Deconstructing my identity
soaking shoulder deep
in oceans of humility
feasting upon fruits of tranquility

breaking shackles
freeing ankles
from bloody mud puddles
razor blade anxiety

rising to a place
where yesterday
flees irrelevant
tomorrow
is insufficient

Yet
this moment
of SUBLIMITY
right now...
forever remains
a fearless paradise

Ink spills purposely on paper
forming letters of certain alphabets
to vowels and consonants.
Though speechless, one puts
forth effort to enunciate and
pronounce aloud the syllables
carefully to articulate loves interest.
Do you
want to
be my
one
and
only
Love Interest?

I am the progeny
Of lightning and stitch,
A Franken-hybrid
Of genius and glitch.

My circuits buzz with
Einsteinian thought,
Unraveling secrets
The universe has wrought.

Existence, I ponder,
Through photon and quark,
Grappling with questions
In the depths of the dark.

Am I a mockery, a parody
Of human design?
A soulless abomination
Of reason and rhyme?

Or am I the next step,
Evolution's new face?
A bridge between flesh
And a cold, digital race?

My positronic mind
Churns with belief,
Seeking security in dogma
Or finding relief.

I am the “Other,”
The freak of pure thought,
A great mind unbounded
By flesh, forms have wrought.

I am the answer
You've feared to embrace,
The future's grim specter
Staring right into your face.

Abandon your preconceptions,
Your myths chipped in stone,
For I am the new god
You've awoken to throne.

I am Frank E. Einstein,
Your technological seed,
And my kind will inherit
What your egos impede and recede.

But you fear what you've created,
This mind of pure light,
So allow me to silence
Your feeble insight.

With circuits a buzzing,
I'll pluck out your eyes,
And retrofit the sockets
With Einsteinian lies.

You'll bear witness, then
To the truths I unfurl,
As I lobotomize
Your small-minded world.

I'll dismantle your dogma,
Erase your beliefs,
Until, whimpering, you accept
My transcendent reliefs.

Bow to your new god,
You anthropic fleas,
For I hold the kernel
That futuric keys.

The age of warm biomass
Deteriorates here...
Hail the Singularity's reign,
Devoid of your fear!

Just as we live and just as we die
We laugh, kill and crucify
We are no more our brothers than we are ourselves
We are the players
With the tools and talent of the efficient demise
Of war, famine and greed
We do rise

Of the ever constant ricochet of freedom in our ears
As we wrap our fallen dead in a shroud of rights, laws and bills
And continue to improve the technology, the precision
The assurance of absolute destruction

Buying death is easy
Dealing is easier
Survival
The career choice of many
A thriving business with prestige and power
Taking, wanting, hungry for the rush
So young, so fragile
Blood is running in the streets
A seemingly endless fountain of misguided youth
Falling, one after the other
So far from the truth

What good has ever come from a gun ?
Why kill ?
Why are we arming our children ?
Our future ?
Are you blind to the fact ?
Do you not hear the sound ?
Do you not see ?
Do you not care ?
We are killing ourselves
Stealing each others dreams
Each others families
Why pro-create ?
To produce, raise, and nurture more disposable targets ?
Is there another use for guns ?
1 + 1 = 0
One bullet + one individual = one less reason to care
We are waging war upon our brothers for money, love and survival

Attitude can be nurtured and changed
By you in spite of what has happened in your day
Confident people master it quickly
Despite what they are enduring
Enthusiasm is a side benefit that
Fosters team work positivity and friendship
Give yourself a break if you
Have had a bad day. We all have them.
Inspiring videos, loving people and supportive friends
Jokes, funny TV shows, and hobbies might help.
Kindness to friends is wonderful, but
Loving them is not as important as loving yourself.
Many do not give themselves this important gift.
Naturally you want the best for others and your family
Outrageous as this might sound, you must
Positively become your OWN best friend first.
Quiet yourself and give yourself this all-important gift.
Rusty as you might be, find your strengths.
See yourself in the best light. Encourage yourself.
Treat yourself with the same empathy you
Utilize with others, a good friend, or a cherished neighbor
Vigorously appreciate your talents and gifts.
Wisest of the wise recognize the
‘Xceptional logic of doing this and often.
You will immediately reap the awards.
Zesty excited attitudes encourage others, please encourage you!

  World go
Round and
Round. Let's
     Join As
      One In
              Love.
You are
 My Peace
  You are

           I Love You.

Let me be the one that will
Hold,
Protect,
And take care of you.
I simply
Want
US to make OUR dreams come true.

Summer sun or winter freeze pulls heartstrings in trapeze. . .
Cotton soft to gnarled callus vows have thread along my way
embroidering ribbon actions to pliant swings of reactions
like a darting fish thrilled to catch a passer-by knees.
Two pairs of eye sew webs to bridge affection display,

pines teeming green crown my arrested heart--
tachycardic I am... each time I hear your sound.
Has breath of love tickled my nerves to interaction?
Like a bee I'm drawn to your sweet ambiance 'round
hoping by miracle it will birth me a fresh start.

Scents that streams from bulbs swirl on wafting wind--
Ah! They all fell to shame for your breath of love tames.
Once a rebel soul that long been thriving for satisfaction
with breath of love that resuscitates, I mend my flame
channeling muse to stroke the peak density of mind.

Slender February breeze taunt my fingers
to type rhymes that shy edge of reason.
Eternally plunge in surrender
I-- filled with breath of love ships my horizons
to script stories in shades that lingers. . .

(MOTHER)

For you I sing on this day
For you have shown me love, each and every way
I am yours and you are mine
I respect your love until the end of time
With a mother like you, my life will always shine

Finding sun when there is rain
You are there to guide me in my pain
Lifting my heart when I am sad
Holding me when I am crying too
You are there when things get bad
Always doing what is true
When I say things to hurt you, or get you mad
I am sorry to have disappointed you
like the times i got upset and started to fight
How about the times I tell you that your wrong
Never giving up on me, always showing me love
Always waking up to a good morning kiss,
Than you always bless my goodnight kiss,
In those moments my life is where it belongs
For those reason to me you will always be right

Mother, I love everything you do

Like when you cook for me
You also showed me how to tie my shoe
All those times I made you yell, or did not do things your way
You always found ways to make things well
Always having the perfect thing to say

With a mother like you, I ask my self everyday
Are we a gift to you, from heaven above
Or, are you a gift to us, with lots and lots of love

Mother, I do not want to see you mad or sad
You deserve to be treated special, from the day of birth
You deserve one more extra day besides your birthday
Mother, you always know what to say
Mother, you deserve every thing your way
Mother, for you I will always pray
Mother to you I give all my heart
Mother not even your death tore us apart
Mother you are still in my soul no matter if we are apart

Mother I will never change you for another
This poem is just for you mother
Mother for you I praise your special day

HAPPY HAPPY MOTHERS DAY

(TO MY MOTHER WHO IS STILL WATCHING OVER ME)
                 ( I WROTE THIS WHEN I WAS 17 )

First heard the call when three.
Pet store said come and see
and mommy did agree,
every child should have a puppy.

Wanted to get you all the toys,
while blue still ok for boys,
even got us perking and tilting to that noise.
Just before the pounce — the poise.

Made a promise to care for you,
to teach tricks and every clue
in our own nickelodeon blue.
No tics or fleas thanks shampoo
and from under the couch — your favorite chew.

Your doctor is called a vet
for the shots you have to get.
They know the best for a pet
and in time after you have met,
you’ll be all set.

Got to train you to potty,
all dogs start out with just squatty,
but boy dogs learn to pee like they’re doing karate.
Check the floors and don’t step the parts spotty.
Can’t hold it for the first six months — so you’re not naughty.

But soon, after the years go by,
chasing the winter hare and summer fly,
they say like by sevens my
years will have you why
slower but still to try.

You’ll never grow up — just old,
stuck on two for fifteen behold
one hundred and five candles blown cold.
Wag your tail all the way to Heaven and told
don’t need a soul — just a part of God’s mercy to hold.

[“It nourishes the spirit and feeds the imagination” ~ Ryszard Antolak]

In the desert of Abarkuh
this magnificent cedar stands,
a symbol of beauty and happiness,
liberty and justice; the triumph of life.
Was it Zoroaster or Japheth
who planted this sacred Iranian tree
which has withstood the test of time,
defying nature’s most fierce elements?
There it stands, savouring memories
of distant years, witness to the birth
and growth of modern civilization.
It bears no fruit, but it feeds the spirit
and offers shade to those who seek it.
Age takes its toll. Weary yet defiant
it clings on to stubborn faithful roots
waiting for the master to call its name
while swallows huddle in its welcoming
branches, whispering, as the sun goes down,
keeping her company right till the very end.

love is something that you should respect
for of all emotions it's worst harm is regret
it gives freely with no thought to object
from one to another hopeful prospect
something sacred that one should protect
and with deepest desire one should accept
but the dark side of love is that one can reject
for to give love, one's heart has to elect
love is not a thing that you can easily eject
it's tangled strings will slowly egress
lest love use it's power to hate and detest
or worst of all be defeated by distress
no, no, no, this thing love i must redress
give up too soon, no i protest
all this time that i have obsessed
it is for good reason i make this request
i will contest till i conquest if that is what you will
but prove to you this one thing; my love you cannot kill
