How Far Down Do You Need To Go

How far down do you need to go_
~to stand face to face and toe to toe_
~with that no-good son of a so and so?
Taking not only yourself but all you know.
Descending from on high to deep below_

How many of your friends are now your foe?
Rejecting all the trials meant to help you grow.
Didn’t you get the message or read the memo?
To suffer a little today and not eternal woe?
Did you forget the law of_ “Reap and Sow”?

You can’t ride with the devil_ you’re too slow_
He’s got the best saddle around this rodeo.
Lines his horse up four to a row_
Apocalyptic stallions galloping to and fro.
Charging full speed ahead with resilient gusto
Scorching hot winds from their lungs to blow_

Upon all those whose souls don’t glow_
From hot veins where passion flow_
~and fight to reject vile secret audio
~silent messages broadcast on radio.
Mind control media from news to talk show.
Wouldn’t go near him as far as I can throw.

Best not stomp around but quietly tiptoe.
Take your heart off your sleeve keep it undertow.
If you failed today try again tomorrow
For your deeds complies_ gifted wrapped in a bow
Your final payment is what you’ll come to owe.
Your bold stance morphs a wispy cameo.

Ill-fated effects of enacted domino.
How far down do you need to go_
~to stand face to face and toe to toe_
~with that no-good son of a so and so?
Taking not only yourself but all you know.

Ahead of her time
A cascade of lines

Crossed

The least of which was nudity

Premium Member Dusk Descending On the Shore

Dusk descending on the shore -
My eyes engorge themselves on orchid and wisteria swirls
which frost a blue-cake cotton-candy sky.

Peacefully, deeply, I draw in breath to savor
that special flavor of the sea. Its salty tang
delectably has mingled with the lime of my man's cologne.

Suddenly, the screech of beach scavengers assaults our ears.
Coming to claim our picnic’s small remains,
the gulls, through sky now glazed maroon, are shadows swarming-
dusk descending on the shore.

Descending Sun

Setting sun indoctrinates an ascent,
Even smallest ants can cast,
Obvious long shadows !

Premium Member Nude Descending a Staircase

The canvas is painted in ochres and browns
Suggesting a figure, the staircase coming down
Be it masculine or feminine is for your mind to see
The artist’s title denotes it descends in nudity.

The body parts are not displayed so exact
Demonstrating movements that appear somewhat abstract
Stare as long as you like at the naked body parts
It now hangs in Philadelphia at the Museum of Art.

The name of this Modernist display is recognized by many
Although knowing what it looks like – you may not find any
“Nude Descending a Staircase, no 2” is a title known well
Painted by Marcel Duchamp in nineteen and twelve.

Although some will be disappointed when they finally take a look
This painting is a masterpiece in my artistic book.

Nude, Descending a Staircase*

Nude, descending a staircase.
Sunlight gleaming off the smooth curves
of the still warm, wet, torso.
Soft foamy shampoo halo
surrounding mounded hair,
damp, hurried footprints follow.

Squinting eyes peer through
gossamer curtains,
impatiently waiting in anticipation,
a noonday rendezvous.
A whispered exchange
in the cooling breeze of open door,
exciting the senses.

Climax…words uttered
in the chilled heat of passion,
echoing through the halls…..

Descending Exhibits

I would like to thank you for your visit.
I have removed these poems for a distant future book publication.
I believe we poets, can make a difference
in this world. We live in the 21st century,
we have tools( technology), we have our past, and imagination.
We just don't have the courage, because
I guess most are afraid to fail, to loose money.
All I have to say is we can't take money with us,
when we die. I also say hasn't mankind failed enough,
and isn't mankind worth the effort, our children is worth the effort..

Thank you, and my your God Bless you

Descending Peace

After a hard day
a game-changing starts,
igniting the night.

You are buried
in stitches. The wounds
are devoid of blood.

Will you split the-
silence along the words ?
There was no awareness now.

A persona
becomes a revolution. The streets
are painted red.

The monument
drifts. You wash the landscape
with moonlight.

Love Descending Upon An Angel

Looking up at the sky, up in the air so high
Moving like a bird, time fiercely passing by.
You and I together, at each others side
Waiting for a full moon, until the highest tide.

To you my dearest, my true love for you is so
Love only for my angel, I love you more than you know.
I want to be with you so much, I'll risk anything for you
For you are my only true angel, this I tell you is true.

Through the intertwining touch, of our interlocking hands
Our life together just began, our future which expands.
For my someone special, the person I can not live without
Shall I lose my angel of god, my life as is shan't go about.

I tip my hat off, to you I call my dearest
You are my angel, I see that as the clearest.
For you are my treasure, the one I hold so dear
To you I must admit, we're together now and here.

Our love is like a sapling, growing into the strongest tree
Which will continue growing forever, the same as you and me.
What you unconditionally have done, you've illuminated my soul
It's you and your true compassion, that has recreated me whole.

Shall I say to my angel, that you are through and through
I hope that some day, your angel in me will be shown to you.
My wish upon a wish, you and i always together
Descending from the sky, like a pure angel's falling feather.

Into the gape

With not but wits and weary

               I shall find your muse

Deep in the gut of Terra

Churning ... molten

          As my spirit.

Forty Six and Two Is Descending

Orienting
A time of pain
Lost in your mind
Playing games
The will of hers
Is strong like his
Soothing like furs
The weakest wills
Without domination
Or scepters gaze
No one will beat sin
Or get past this phase

The few have seen it
The few do know
Majority fails
While shadows glow

Walking the path
Is older now
Then gliding through it
Past Satan’s bow
No one can tell you
What lies past the way
So take back the two
And conquer those who stay

Though few have seen it
Not many do know
That when majority fails
Our shadows will glow

Pick up the ashes
Retrieve lost tears
Stand up beside us
Let go of your fears
No more wandering
Alone in ourselves
Take back what was once yours
From a life you once dwelled

a blue pansy night
indigo sundown garden
impacting colors

rubies in the sky
and gems where I am walking
dramatic nature

rhododendron drones
honeybees are yet in blooms
at the day's downfall
