Premium Member Desperate Hope

While gelid breezes of winter, quiver emotions of decaying rays,
And arc of horizon cedes to dusk, evoking grimace of malaise,
Casting shadows tenebrous, shrouding glimmer of a slowing day,
Desperate hope lingers still, in resplendence of autumn’s decay;

Gawking in yonder, where gamboge-orange woodlands fade,
Reminiscing in seasons harkening, realms of love now evade,
Mindful of the broken vows, when grievous calls destiny made,
When forever promises receded, and pledges eternal strayed.

Love now mulls~ if kiss of passion was a subtext of final goodbye?
Was it the last tear of hapless eyes; a bawl of love gone awry?
A silent protest, concealing mindfully, anguish of a forlorn sigh?
Was it the clamor of jilted desires, love enamored chose to decry?

Springs of past summon hope, having risen from wintry throe,
Nights of nightmare cede to dreams in halo of daybreaks aglow,
As candle of love revives hearts, fueled by inspirations of soul,
When whispers of sensuous hints, aspirations of romance cajole.

Desperate hope expounds repentance, vying healing through time,
Unsure if, pleadings in atonement, will redeem future sublime;
Whether love saplings will ever sprout, from ashes of passions bygone,
If dreams forsaken will blossom, in womb of tomorrow’s dawn.

Premium Member What If There Was No Tomorrow

Meaning of oath no longer has a covenant
Guaranteeing to future commitment of pledge
Rendering futile all promises of yesterdays
As grief ridden past dominates today's sorrow
For hope's now dead, as there's no tomorrow.

Yet, I reminisce within glory of daybreaks
And opulence of colors in grandeur of sunsets
Spinning on earth's axis as night follows day
Across all continents where vast oceans reign,

And vibrant blue sky makes bold new claims
About perpetual dawns boasting on its domain
Bond of enduring love that never ever ends
Where enchanted dreams ecstatically chase.

Alas, I grasp grudgingly realities I must face--
Eternal that was indelible lasts only till today
And definition of infinity forever has changed--
Precious little time left that was once endless.

So I bid farewell, before world-beloved dissipates,
To memoirs of yore, allures of tomorrow;
Shedding all regrets, purging lovelorn woes,
Cherishing instead most intimate ornate secrets
Arrayed in desires of beautiful flower bouquets
Granting love romantic stage for one final play.

Laughing Atmospheres

Laughing Atmospheres

It floats in the morning dew
Settles with diamonds
On cobwebs who
Catch dreams on their threads

The sensual quiet of dawn
Imbues
The grass blades are whispering
To the sifted chanting
Of being One

In a glittering pool
The sea
Dances every possibility
Day bright answers to the
Begun
Shafts brilliance of the sun

Calling loud
With its perpetual anthem
Loud call
To the rest of the world

And here it comes

The daybreaks begin
Leaping from my chest
It seems
Rushing to laughing atmospheres
Peaks
On white bathed angels
Wings expand

Sends me out
Higher than the light
In my eyes

Gathering to the quintessence
Point
The beating monument
Of my heart
Single holds on to intense
Shudders delight
Through every sense

I am soaring skies

I see her eyes

I
Left unbound to the anchoring ground
I
Hear the word
The catapult of love
Universal soundings climax
Imparts
Beneath the eyes of God
When we both were created
As one

She holds my cheek
And the ghostly press
Of lips meet
I
Confess my soul
To the indomitable
Flow
Of love

And the orchestral designs of morning
Send this rockets emotive
Burning
Reaching
Powered to pinicles
In a cavalcade chords
Goes racing
Cavorting

Climbing every space
My spirit
Has loosed upon the chase
To its welcome home
For such an exuberant ride
All on its own
Takes it place
At her side

I

It is there
Where I belong
You see
Every atom
And concept of me
Has always been
Since God created us
Both
As one

Premium Member Morning Dew

When morning dew holds moonlight’s shine
It’s glistened blush as night declines
    Unveiled by daybreaks grand display
As breeze blows soft, a shimmered sway

Clear lunar nights are brushed sublime
When morning dew holds moonlight’s shine
All objects basking in its glow
Gleam with a textured, raised plateau

From deep within the moon’s soft beam
A gentle kiss to daylight’s stream
When morning dew holds moonlight’s shine
It sings like night and day combined

That sparkled glint on morning’s brow
   A diamond’s hue the moon’s endowed
Can reach your heart when eyes inclined
When morning dew holds moonlight’s shine

Premium Member Purple Cues In Orchid Motifs

Glorious hues arise from halo of morning sky
As dreamy eyes take me on a wondrous ride
Where cottony clouds scatter layers of purple
Adorning with shades of heliotrope flowers.

On my ride I visualize a celestial place on earth
Hearing fairy tales from fabled views unfolding,
And I ask my yawning bushes to vacate at once
So I can plant my lilac garden in sunrise colors.

Mesmerized by purple cues in orchid motifs
My day traversed gaily in enchanting overtones,
When clouds spewing gray darkened my show
Blocking twilight from glistening reddish glow.

Having lost sunrise, I hang on to sinking sunset
Assured by its scenic prowess I build my place
Near the lone lamp on street that is yet to be lit
Yearning for vistas of my daydream to repeat.

My place now occupies best of both worlds
Rising with mornings and setting with evenings,
Mimicking splendid hues of evocative contexts
Adoring fervent daybreaks and dreamy sunsets.

When words fail to express
or vocally tell you
how a person feels held
deeply inside the knotts

Those softly mesmerising eyes
dawning in the afterlife
sweetly startling your music
begins to play upon lips

Angel silently calling
enchanting whispers echo
as the heartbeats thump life
hypnotic breathless sighs

As a pulse races quicksand
under the surface unveils
you will find me holding
forever at night love

Daybreaks warmly comforting
my precious dream awakens
I melt into the clouds
were it smiles with a rays

Light transmitting signals burn
kissing the colours of sunrise
where my love for you ruby
can neither be measured or bought

Premium Member Myriad Mountain Hues

Dusty rose and orange gold when daybreaks;
And burnished reds and mauve at setting sun.
The mountains in shades of beauty awakes;
And retires to the same when day is done.

The mountains are massed in riotous blooms,
While sometimes obscured by lemony clouds,
As heady scents drift all the afternoons,
And into nights, appearing in dark shrouds.

Now and then crowned by such lovely rainbows,
Before birds sing to the warm lilac nights,
So still in dreams of June's golden yellows,
With its humming life, and butterfly flights!

Daytime and nighttime bring endless beauty,
Through sunlit mountains hued so profusely.

Awakenings

woke up to the morning chirping
which became chirpings
that opened my eyelids erasing my dream.

they had been perching on a limb
just before the sun had raised its shade
settling in before their choir rehearsal.

Bringing to may attention it was a new day
that needs a welcoming and gratification
to share each new awakening for both.

pleasantly enough to say one must enjoy
the greetings that inspire one to leave
their yawns and join daybreaks calling.

trees become holders of nature sharing its limbs
allowing birds to gather and become the pipers
of dawn’s early rising that shines awareness.

Premium Member Wings of a Dove

lovely, is love
wings of a dove

kisses feathery as snowflakes
like heavenly sent sweet magic
lost in an ocean pelagic
ethereal until daybreaks

like heavenly sent sweet magic
but, there are days when the heart aches
and there are days when my world shakes
lost in an ocean pelagic

lovely, is love
like heavenly sent sweet magic
love gives and never ever takes
lost in an ocean pelagic
wings of a dove . . .

wings of a dove
lovely, is love

Among the Creations

13 March 2010

Among The Creations

I am blessed for being a God’s creation
Along with the grown-up trees, I build my own foundation

And I whisper to the mighty wind
To bestow me a seed alike wunderkind

And in this soil, I will walk barefooted
That if Barkus is willing, my heart is embedded

I see many daybreaks and sunsets
Along flowers bloom and gaping at the night’s garnet

Luxuriate to the florid orchard
With jazzing up of the playing of harpsichord

I am falling between frustration and elation
Sighing out loud along the sea waves commotion

That in this world, I am not alone
I will thrive and shrivel among the other creations

The Dark Rider

The Dark Rider

From a dark and distant time, so very long ago
In a land, time has forgotten, sunken below
In an era when the blackened heart of man
Struck fear and despair within all the land

You could feel the grip of the black cloud of fear
Blanketing over the land, everything far and near
“Tis a terrifying time for the likes of any man
Unaware of whence this tale of darkness began”

The elders would speak of a dark sinister long ago
Where a black ghostly image would appear so slow
A dark rider would appear out of the cold black night
Riding a black steed, fire in it’s eyes, terrifying sight

It was said that rider was sent from hell to avenge
Of the innocents done wrong, seeking only revenge
A hellish quest, retribution to the evils that men do
Swift reprisals to the wrongdoers he does pursue

The rider is judge and jury, not one man shall survive
Once he seeks out his lowly prey, not one is left alive
He suddenly appears, tall shadow in blackest night
Of who he seeks no one knows, until daybreaks light

Once again the dark rider leaves his mark on the town
His justice for those too weak, unable to fight is renown
The fear that evil doers feel for this dark unholy reaper
Is a testament to his judgment, an unholy peacekeeper

Exuberant Light

Selfless rays spring from tonal anagrams
Crystal daybreaks that never know twilight
Released from the pure rhapsody “I Am”
Innocent of intention, free of night,
Nascent from infinity’s essence – light -
Unselfish benediction leaping up
Vitality born in perfection’s cup
Pure spirit, benevolent chivalry,
Enduring present animas closeup,
Crucible, animation’s ministry.

Breathless, lives without infected judgement,
Simply chanted bliss in the present tense
Torrents of chaste delight’s descant descent
Dainty clarity, effervescent zest,
Seeks no return – collects no interest -
Unselfish bounty - Eternal always –
Cascading lambent merriment of praise
No need of sun or moon nativity
Incorruptible abundance ablaze
Light sings everlasting festivity.

The Murmuring of a Traveler

Once when I was kept in the safest column
He was already standing beside my mother's womb
 Whispering me lullaby
 And I was happy

Before I walk my day
He was already standing in the doorway
Packing me provisions so I could make it through the day
I said 'Where are we going?'
He said 'To the Garden where river flows'
 And we went

We passed by a forest
Heavily infested with unruly beasts and serpents
 Standing therein were brute trees
In different sizes and in different shapes
Whose branches were against each other colliding
All their leaves stared at me despairing and beeding
I said 'This is dark, lonely and cold'
He said 'Tighten your grip, you will be safe'
 And we went

To my relief
We reached a healthy field
Pleasantly rugged by blossoms of all sorts
 The frogs altogether singing
Spreading my arms under the rain dancing
 And I was happy

I said 'I want to stay here'
He said 'No, the rain and the blooms are not forever'
I said ' I will keep some red roses'
He said 'They are not yours to keep, they wither and die'
 And we went

Unto the empty hut, we went
 I approached and cried
'When are You going to cease giving commands?
Is this what You brought me here?
 Run my living?
 You are a selfish God!'
 And I wept

On shadows,
He spread me blanket
 On daybreaks,
 He lay me bread
Yet I wept and wept further

Many evenings visited
 I turn and toss
And toss and turn
 I could not rest
Like an orphan child standing next to stranger's home

To Him I walked, I cried 'I am sorry'
And said
'Thank You for Teaching and Guiding
 my restless, fractured, aggressive heart;
Thank You for being the Source of Light
 where dark alley could I be if You do not lamp my way?;
 Thank You for All-Hearing
 all my longings and unspoken words;
 Thank You for Forbearing
 my dissatisfaction, whining, wanting more and complaining;
Thank You for being the All-Mighty
 making me strong, I swear I will make it through;

And just in case my flesh fails
Do not leave me by the road
Take me to the Place where all this journey for'

He said
'How much can you weigh of My bounty?
I never been unkind to you'

Although I wept,
 I was happy

And we went.

Shades of Sunrise

Dew about to escape
Breath exchanging life's elements
Another day of deals
Running shoes padding rhythms
Ready the boardroom battles
Clopping horses arriving for oats
Tourists to enchant
Occasional honk
Distress already starting
Cabs feeling lonely
So goes
Central Park awakening

Chad's sunrise-oppression unbearable
One tree shade refuge
Shoulder to shoulder
Elbow to elbow
Meager shelter respites
Awaiting Doctors Without Borders
Despair's awaited visit
Anxious tears begging cessation
Land Rover dust billowing
Through distant heat rising
Reality's desert-St. Nick on schedule
Time's super-human visitor arriving
For a refugee park arousing

Forgotten daybreaks

Sun not seen
Clouds of smoke
Layered upon layer
Acrid death and bomb residual levitating
From yesterday
Last week
Earlier months
Years ago

Trees
Bushes
Flowers
Now but surreal imaginings
Held ever so precious
Beside today's reality

A Syrian city without walls
Windows
Roofs
Basements
Only rubble
Crumbling ever faster
More shell holes
Bigger bombs
Pulverizing all vestige of civilization
Seemingly endless murder and destruction
Reminding all
A dictator's Neanderthal mind-set
Club crunching club
Rock crushing rock
Delivers daily battle zone awakenings
Seemingly in perpetuity

Where...

Where
Might innocent sunrises
See the light
Once again?

Premium Member Yet I Remain

Yet I Remain

There are no tethers, yet I remain,
no locked doors or barred windows,
no walls, no chained gates, no guards,
for I am free, of and from, any bondage
to this world - save love.

These bonds do not constrain my love
they light the way that I may see its beauty,
adjust the lighting lest a shadow pass
across my heart. Such bonds are not
a limitation, they are the gleam of sunlight
reflecting on the surface of a waiting moon.

This invisible web, more delicate than the
finest spider spun silk, resonates the hum
of distant breezes, holds to daybreaks
dew drop dreams, enfolds in perfect
symmetry one half of whole.

This power to be unattached yet still
connected, a pebble reaching out
in rippling touch, a thought, its only
true vibration, caressing with its freedom
those still longing to be free.
