Best Day Dream Poems
If you could relive one day of your life..
time lost, now retrieved for just a short while.
To thrust old scheming machinations knife,
or return healing to a lover's smile.
Such a fretted frittering those lost days,
though ones you and I will remember most.
Passions reared high in servile dewy haze..
soft breathe warm against skin from dearest host.
Moment waits untended a dreamer's call,
something I can never give you again.
Bodice caught on nail of new lover's wall,
though we may choose to return now and then.
Tarried too long look'g to horizon's edge..
promised heart unharmed, now pulled from a ledge.
Now you have gone away,
I have not much to say.
Remembering sitting on the bay,
even when the big clouds were gray.
I know you could not stay,
what I would give for one more day.
You went on your way,
no more running at play.
When silence speaks through a singing blue jay,
all I can do is now pray.
The cinnamon scented days
in your grandiose porcelain cups,
as you would like to say,
in grass green warmth of May
of the sandal wood shadow
in your valley
made of three warm words from starry dark,
alongside the moon-circles
It is lovely
A rose dance
In a tipsy trance
A blue Greece peace
descending downward
Shivering moon ice
And Amazon warmth
From mouth to mouth
“Go slow go slow “
Calls the lark
from moon-snow
“Go slow”
Why the distraction?
In the lovely job of translation
from fire to ice
Slice by slice
Dropping all disguise
Into a stupendously charming reality
Of collapsing charm
Then, all on a sudden
Why the reaction
Of sudden interruption?
The lark asks
“Look above
Visit the cascade first
The temples, the galloping horses
The beautiful bird-neck
And the awesome hills”
The cream coloured shaft of sky
beteen the two tension to the hilt
Maddeningly failing
Into freedom of the flood
Tumultuous silence ...
And he felt the soft palm on his forehead
He came to
It was the nurse
By his hospital bed
‘Yes ?'
‘Sir, you have to ....'
'The chemotherapy?'
'Yes Sir'
A gentle smile on her face
A sandal wood shade
Of a different kind though
And ice slabs
In almost absolute temperature

Rainbow skies, ocean current withdrew.
Girl's pert swirls, soft unbound hair, where pearls
shelled mollusk would dare to clasp its curls.
Radiance eyes special gentle blue.
Three feet exhilarating handful.
Sweet, inescapable mud stain cheeks;
cuteness with endless hugs, sunshine streaks,
briny wave tears drop flow buckets full.
Barefoot, tattered, and grass sully knees.
Magpie, explores never says goodbye.
Cheesecake berries-double bubble sky.
Pink My Little Ponies perched on trees.
Night pledges stardust dreams and fairies.
Sleep little angel, in star full clouds,
stories with lullabies among crowds
of flowers, hummingbirds, and bunnies.
Gnomes tease chuckles and granted wishes,
rainbow snow cones, cherry lollipops.
Wake to orange sunrise final drops
and endless love, bear hugs, and kisses.

Eventide eases a discordant day
as peach amber contrails billow on high.
Pink ginger crawls throughout dark smoky gray
and fades as peaceful night’s cover grows nigh.
An informal jam of the waves below,
throbs in harmonic regularity.
The nourishing sounds, some high and some low,
invigorate with their sweet charity.
Muffled moans and grievous groans of the week,
adversity and conflict lose their sway.
Improbable dreams and hopes of the meek
a nearer realization away.
Stripes of yellow, gray and blue,
mixed with lavender too...
Spread across the distant sky
The strong wind goes howling by
Windchimes conduct music to hear,
amplifying a beautiful sunset
The sun lowers and removes regret,
Beginnings are born at the end of the day,
as dreams are created in tunes that play

~ I DREAM a DREAM ~
I dream a dream so placid~~
**
A commitment that burns every morning brink
I feel the pain as I slip into my shoes of confident
Every day I wonder how much more can I take?
I want to fall right back to sleep, knowing I'm still in deep
Another day facing the sun, holding onto feelings overdone
I taste the acid, I feel the corrosive results
A reaction eating my heart away with fault
My expressions are dissolving as I carry a 100 pound bag of salt.
I dream a dream of addiction~~
**
By morning dawn I gain control of my world
Watch, as my eagle eye's hide under my new disguise
My withdrawals ride high into the sky
I'm under an ultimate dependent narcotic feel
My drugs of the low - self image sits under garbage waste
Reacting with chills, vengeance- my only pill
Acting on my addiction, I deprive my insecurities with restriction
Power in every hit, a strong substance I withhold every dope hour
I dream a dream of adultery~~
**
Every day the sun rises, I share a cup of coffee for three
Fighting the feeling that flows towards another man
My head is sweating, my emotions are distracting and upsetting
This river boat got wet, the day you introduced me to the Internet
In my subconscious mind you are here and then you disappear
My sexual desires I self-sabotage when you become him
My love that's the only way my body will let you in
A mess brought by your cheating days
Now the interest has gone away
Betrayed by you, neglecting me
Don't ever trust, or believe what you see.

*** YESTERDAY ***
By; John Monteblanco
Yesterday was another day,
I dream of you under the rain.
All I know is that my love is true and everything else is fake.
Take my hand and venture into a distant land.
No more doctors or medications,
I’m the cure to your heart!
Don’t let me go because I don’t know how to live without you.
Is love obsessive? Is it cruel or am I the one who needs to change?
Do I need to find a different route to your blossoming heart?
Listen with your heart not with your ears.
Can you hear my heartbeat from here?
Look with your heart not with your eyes.
Do you see the infinite blue sea called love?
*** TODAY ***
By; the Poet Destroyer
Love is so discrete and open wide.
Why must one make another cry?
Yes your love was true.
But, at times we must say good bye.
Like the color gold that does not fade,
your heart I will always treasure and hold.
But, time stood still over our desert land.
Now I have to move on in hopes you'll understand.
I will always reminisce the romantic way you held my hand.
I'll miss the way you embraced your love for me.
Things just got sad after that one little fight.
A day wont go by that I wont dream of you at night.
Hopefully my river flows back into the open waves of your sea.
But, for now I ask you to set my heart free.

The crying of a lonely night,
pine's branches drooping moonlit white
as sighing winds touch heaven’s gate,
without the need to stand and wait
for every roaming rainclouds' stare,
she needs to ask the why or where
in moments when pain veils her face
so sullen, yet so full of grace;
as her swan wings clutch twilight's hues
dripping tears from November's dues
yet, eyes open their crystal plumes
with hopes of flowers' newborn blooms

“There is a cloud that looks like a bunny!
Over there is one just like a rocket!
Do you ever think it might be funny
To put a cloud right into your pocket?”
“I think that would just make your pants soggy.
And then we would both have to go inside.
That one right there looks just like a doggy!
And there is a dragon! Run, doggy! Hide!”
“Do you think clouds might be made of cotton?”
“Now you’re being silly! Cotton can't fly!
Mommy told me once, but I’ve forgotten…
The rain comes from the clouds. I wonder why.”
They watch the clouds pass and lay on their backs
‘Til Mommy comes out to bring them some snacks.
When dawn unfolds before you like a silent rose
Awakens all your senses from a deep repose
Arise unshackled from capricious dreams
Step as you dare on stairs of golden sunbeams
Along the once black tunnels where you learned to breathe
Forget the darkest stars that taught you how to grieve
Float on the air like a magic golden leaf
Rejoice in the day because it is so brief
Now with leafy garlands woven in your hair
Dance lightly on mossy forest stairs
In your floating gown of clouds and sky
Happy and carefree as a butterfly
When dawn unfolds before you like a dew kissed rose
Awakens your whole soul from deep repose
Dance away the day because it is so brief
Sigh at the stars that taught you to believe

6th. Place
Powdered Sugar Daydreams
Time becomes invisible, ceasing to matter
as this place in all its magic and wonder
blooms upon the gardens of our imagination,
playing like birds on a sky of opal blue, wandering streets of old
Where rising suns on aqua horizons shift,
singing of a new day which is happily part of the prior,
extending beyond any view offered along this rocky shoreline,
as we stroll by delta desires and riverboat reveries
Brick paved streets, uneven but smoothly polished greet us,
a sidewalk table, warm cuppa, green on white awnings,
sweet treats beneath Café Du Monde shadows and tender kisses
within the eyes of all passing, and we without a care
Music fills the square in harmony with our heart beats,
a three piece jazz ensemble plays melodic romance
while your hand, your fingers, tightly hold mine
and I feel your pulse tap out the rhythm of our day
We dance upon wrought iron balconies
above French Quarter bead laced branches,
glistening in purples and greens
of past parades and tomorrow rendezvous’
While jasmine covered arbors bound by geranium breezes
invite us to be one, our love springs forth
in cool waters from passion’s fountain and we find
ourselves lost in powdered sugar daydreams again
Come to me in a dream tonight,
Tip toe in your gown so white;
Come with ribbons in your hair,
With eyes so blue, your face so fair.
Come to me when midnight’s blue,
But hasten for the hours are few;
The day is done with all its pleasure,
Memories stored now there to treasure.
Soaring in flight with angel wings,
Wearing crowns and precious things;
Tasting the honey of romance,
In fields of gold where daisies dance.
The fleet of foot has given chase,
Into to the arms of love’s embrace;
To drink the languor of a smile,
And still the pulse of the heart awhile.
To lie on a bed till rays of morn,
And search the sky till day is born,
Will hold the dream that glows with light,
And take the soul to stars in flight.
The gentle kiss that lulls to sleep,
Finds time to linger on a mouth to keep
A tender kiss and contented sigh,
Within the arms of sleep to fly.
I don't know how could I wake up automatically in the morning
Without any assistance by an alarm set and or by a personal calling
I automatically wake up again in the morning, Huh, I have a new day,
Something has been waiting for me for a long time, I will do it today
The old things are still stacked in my head, but I have to work with new things
How difficult for me to turn my memory machine a bit towards them?
In fact, I am still dreaming something about but I have to be moving
Without a clear direction, an idea, a solution how bad Today in its beginning
I dreamt of a home of my own as a child
Where the air is always pure and mild
Where birds and animals did freely roam
and frolic in the soap bubbles and foam.
A house on a tree by the rolling stream
Atop a vanilla cake or cherry ice cream,
At the foot of a soaring crystal mountain
with a dazzling musical water fountain.
A house of candies, cookies and chocolate
studded with pearls, diamonds and agate,
Amidst a sunflower field or on the moon,
Hugging the ocean or next to a lagoon.
But I live in a hovel by the train tracks
It rattles my bones and almost cracks,
Ha, my sugar and honey dream goodbye
I have the whistling wind for my lullaby.
