When dawn unfolds before you like a silent rose Awakens all your senses from a deep repose Arise unshackled from capricious dreams Step as you dare on stairs of golden sunbeams Along the once black tunnels where you learned to breathe Forget the darkest stars that taught you how to grieve Float on the air like a magic golden leaf Rejoice in the day because it is so brief Now with leafy garlands woven in your hair Dance lightly on mossy forest stairs In your floating gown of clouds and sky Happy and carefree as a butterfly When dawn unfolds before you like a dew kissed rose Awakens your whole soul from deep repose Dance away the day because it is so brief Sigh at the stars that taught you to believe EARLY NOVEMBER PREMIERE CONTEST any form,any theme,max of 25 lines Contest Judged: 11/4/2017 7:32:00 AM Sponsored by: Brian Strand 6th.
