Cracking As Broken Toys

Picking up my phone, the voice recalls my memories
Sweet talker across the line, hey... it's been a while
Days running, things change, here we are aloof in our boundaries

Trapped within our history, now we play the role of our guile
The way you speak is like negating the past
Sweet talker across the line, hey... it's been a while

Hurting each other became the story of our last
The lampblack dwell beneath the wounds, torn by the pain that we cost
The way you speak is like negating the past

We tired in our drama, we trapped in our anger loft
Burnt by the old grudge, how can we fix this dust?
The lampblack dwell beneath the wounds, torn by the pain that we cost

Standing limp on the ruin of us
Now we are broken toys if you still want to play, it's up to you
Burnt by the old grudge, how can we fix this dust?

Still in the past memory I flew
Now we are broken toys if you still want to play, it's up to you
Picking  up my phone, the voice recalls my memories
Days running, things change, here we are aloof in our boundaries

Premium Member Cracking the Mirror Each Time

keeps butting her head against the same mirror
it cracks and breaks finally
so she finds another one as close to it as possible

Same scenario,
Same scripts
Same arguments.

This mirror leaves too
Why do all the mirrors leave me? She asks.
The cat has no answers. Just glad to get all the attention now.

Cracking Open Geodes of Insanity

Cracking open geodes
-- of insanity

a shimmering humanity...

Shining fractals of ones soul.

Opened and vulnerable
like a new seed.

Scintillating stars
gleam from within
with new needs sprouting
from each new seed.

This Earth Is Cracking

In USA,
There is a presidential election fight,
Well, everything seems to be alright,
It might be alright, everything seems tight,
Sometimes, I dream of a red sky,
The earth is cracking,
I'm slowly dancing
On your sweet love floor.

Turkey
Sends bombs for free into Syria, on the other side,
Well, it seems that nothing is more important than having pride,
When Syrians in Turkey need to hide,
I've never dreamed of a sky so red,
The earth is cracking,
I'm slowly dancing
On your sweet love floor.

The Greeks
Don't want to sell to Canadian consumers their gold,
Well, it seems that in Canada it is very cold,
Why is it so cold in Canada all the time and the gold isn't sold?
I really dreamed of a huge red sun,
The earth is cracking,
I'm slowly dancing
On your sweet love floor.

The world
Is waiting for a new shift of magnetic poles,
But, instead of this, earth makes gigantic craters called sinkholes,
Smart money makers lose the remote controls,
I really had a multicolored dream,
The earth is cracking,
I'm slowly dancing
On your sweet love floor.

Much more protesters
Want to change their lives and their presidents.
To feed their kids, they work 12 hours per day for a few cents,
It's something to think about, when life has no sense.
I dreamed of a world having a little pink,
The earth is cracking,
I'm slowly dancing
On your sweet love floor.

God Is Cracking Down

I broke one of God's Commandments when I stole an extension cord.
I was struck by a bolt of lightning because I angered The Lord.
God is cracking down on people who break his Ten Commandments.
You'd better listen to what I'm saying because it makes a lot of sense.
When I chose to be a used car salesman, it wasn't a decision that was wise.
God struck me with leprosy because it's my job to constantly tell lies.
I haven't broken just a few of God's Commandments, I've broken all ten.
God is cracking down, he is making me pay for each and every sin.
Because I've become a leper, I can't get a date with a woman on any night.
When women see me, they wet themselves and start running because of fright.
I have this advice for you, God's Ten Commandments are what you must obey.
God is cracking down, if you break any of his Commandments, you will pay.

(This poem is fictional, but I really believe that God's Ten Commandments should be obeyed.)

Horror Cracking Through

When horror knocks on the door

Slips through the cracks and enters the body, mind, soul

Fast like an avalanche

Traveling at million speeds

It’s the same long forgotten nightmare

Every Breath

Every Whisper

Every Sound

Becomes too familiar

When falling hard to the cement

The shouts, the screams, the reminiscences

All comes too fast

Then life comes to a sudden halt

There's nothing left, just pieces of a lifetime slipping away

Crumbling Cracking Crushed

an impossibility. so it seems.
how did we get to where we are?
An impossibility. ripped at the seams.
How did I let my heart get this far?

Its an impossibility to breath without pain.
a sure probability that I wont be the same.
an instant feeling, that my heart is at my feet.
just pieces of a person, that used to be me.

am i even happy? is this meant to be?
I'm staring at a reflection that wont look back at me.
A glimmer of my former, a me I used to be.
Is this the real amber? or love's casualty.

My reflection still wont look this way,
Am I in danger of losing myself completely?
The injustice of love i've suffered mercilessly
I've tried so hard to not let it defeat me.
I've tried so hard to hide this discreetly.
But I just cant sweep it under the rug
and ignore that its been lurking near.
When you ignore something so relevant,
you find yourself full of paranoia and fear.

Is this really me? This robot talking and ranting.
Where am I? lost inside a love.
I've prayed so hard, so many times,
begging for answers, for strength from above.

I'm broken. crumbling. cracking, falling.
I'm lost. scared. alone. trembling.
I'm defeated. beaten. overpowered. failing.
I'm asleep. nightmares. monsters. dying.

You're my everything. my world.
what am I without your hand in mine?
And this is where I've lost myself,
A love that consumed, overtook, intertwined.

I love you fiercely. without regret.
I love you without an ounce of doubt.
But now I've fallen into a deep, dark hole.
and can't figure my way out.

I could never take back my love for you,
its not just a plug i can pull.
I can't just walk away and never look back.
You made my heart beat, my life full.

I stand corrected. you still do.
you always will. my heart has been yours to keep.
thus the reason i feel so empty and scared.
this leaves me alone and broken to weep.

why does God let us love so fully?
Why does he let us love so blind?
He should limit the love we can feel for another.
I'm tired of loving so hard. and being left behind.

I gave all of myself completely.
never an ounce of lazy love.
I've put forth effort that could move mountains.
its just never quite enough.

Cracking Tone

Come,
let me take you to Nigeria
for you to hear a faint echoes of corruption;
I will be your hearing ear for the night we
spend there-
When they ask you the time of change,
tell them the messiah shall come from the east
with a cup of wine and pieces of kola nuts.
Tonight, we shall make their mouth a talking drum,
to tell our hands, our pens to write our discovery.
We shall dance before the naked moonlight,
not dumb but mouth gagged,
not lame but legs shackled,
we shall not write about something positive
even if we ought to write, we shall write of suffering?
Maybe it ok to see them sing stupidly,
are you so confused? I saw pity in your eyes.
Are you after their change sickness?
I really don't know anything about this land anymore
because they are so engrossed with their problems.
I slept and woke up still no change has come,
so permit me to write about the pains here.
I have nothing more to think sleeping on bed
of roses and waking on a sorrowful chain of change.
When they ask, you ask and I ask again,
remember, not all trees are tall in the forest.
Follow their cracking lips and you shall
see the shapeless pattern of their calamities.
"change is not our problem but we are our problem"
This you must tell them before we leave tonight.
When it is dawn,
we shall sip our tears with our lips then move
on with our lives waiting for the right time to ask
our oga at the top-
"When is the change, Mr President?"

Cracking Up

Anyone can crack up
Writers, santation workers , cops,
right - wingers, left wingers
It is not a nice thing to happen
But not the end of the world if you do
Many people don't believe in poetry
But we at poetrysoup.com know better, don't we!!
Poetry is the key to emotional help!
At least for people who believe in something
It is best to believe in something

Getting Cracking

Getting Cracking

There are times when I want a tutor
So I can use my most cruddy computer
Which to me is often always complicated
And for hours on end have forever hated.

Made plans poorly and not really well-laid
In for another computer, wish I could trade
That was beyond belief so simple and plain
And explicitly of sense never needed a grain.

What if for President I just had been selected
Do you think they ever would have detected
My love for complicated computers is lacking
And maybe I had better start getting cracking.

I'M Cracking

I'm cracking fast, and I don't know what to do
I'm watching myself fall apart, and I'm loseing control
Everything I once knew seems like a big lie
Every dream I once had has crumbled before my very eyes
It seems I have nothing left in life
All I can do is sit here and watch myself fall apart
All I can do is lose control
I'm cracking fast, and I don't know what to do
It seems I have noone left to turn to
Nobody is there for me to reach out to
My life is self destructing, and I'm loseing control
I'm cracking fast, and I don't know what to do
I have lost everything that seems important to me
It's like my whole world has shattered before my eyes
And I am locked up with no end to the maddness here
My mind wont stop raceing even though I say stop
I am cracking so fast I so didn;t see it comeing
I wish someone could help me with this
But I don't know where to turn, or what to do
I need to stop the maddness
I am cracking
Cracking way to fast
Am I on the verge of a nervous break down here
Please someone help!!!!!

we wandered earth like a deluded ghost
then one day we became a child again
meaning innocence was then soul’s outpost
cleansed of stain, we broke free from ego’s chain
reclaiming light by God’s love begotten
