Love's Greatest Costs Are Pangs Of Deepest Remorse
Life is not all love, sweet fun and joyous games
nor pure enjoyment seeing dawn's early rise.
Sometimes it may be our deeds revealed that shames
and cost us dearly, our heart's most precious prize.
Lost love is fast fleeing and elusive beast,
armed with sharp daggers and even deeper lies.
If returned, offers us a sumptuous feast,
of rarest delights and reclaimed cherry pies.
Ah, but to recover bright golden treasures,
one often endures hard blows and sharper cuts.
Sacrifices offered in painful measures,
one may win the prize but others think us nuts!
Love's greatest costs are pangs of deepest remorse.
Which avoiding, would mean no loving of course!

Even should a mother forget
but she cannot
but even if she could
God has sent His mother
to hold the bloodied limbs
in her arms
just as she held God’s humanity
in the folds of her dress
when all had been done.
Her altar of flesh
prepared His Body to rise.
She is there, too,
in the darkened room
where millions of mothers
are crying or trying to forget
or feeling the weight of life
left, gone—regretful or not,
God’s Mother is there
just the same
piecing together
the most bewildering puzzle—
Why?
She cries and remembers
the nails
the spear
the sword,
the pressure
the fear
the force
all for dismemberment.
But it is not the end.
Holding severed flesh
on her lap
in the folds of her dress
she prepares her children
to rise.
But what comes before
is freedom’s forgotten side,
the hidden part
the place we’re not allowed to see
or think about too long.
What would it be like
if our minds could comprehend
the choice placed in our lives—
the tiny seed we could nourish or not?
What would it be like
if we really understood
this freedom to accept or not:
Everyone!
Pro-life, pro-choice, nonaligned!
What would it be like
if we all understood
the freedom that we have
every second of the day
to build or destroy
to speak or be silent
to accept or reject
to say “I” in the face of given-ness.
What choice do we make?
Or do we simply not choose,
let others decide
the fate of our own flesh and blood
and “I”
Will we say:
I didn’t really want to, but…?
Killed our own selves
abandoned our will
left it to die
alone
on the side of the road.
Our own self dismembered
acting against its soul.
But God’s image will not be erased
though the dismembered member
of the human race
is killed by its own.
Maternity waits
and holds our freedom
in the folds of her dress.
The choice has been made.
We can say “no” or “yes.”

"I ran behind a bus", said Ben,
“Saved a good five dollars again”.
“Oh fool!” dad exclaimed,
“My son, I’m ashamed.
Chasing cabs, you could’ve saved ten!"
Its My car
Thousands of miles together we travelled
maps then a sat nav journeys unravelled
collected all sorts, even went to the tip
bus into town, no in the car I'll just nip
MOT services tax, insurance as well
paying the bills down to me it all fell
Now at the end the bills just to big
think its all over I have to admit
one last journey together we made
down to the scrapers only I walked away
the end of this tale is not very nice
travelling on roads comes at a price
pounds shillings and pence me it did cost
but for my beautiful car its life was lost...
In order for us to redeem the time we need to give God our best
and be willing to do all He asks as proof of where our faith rests
as it's not about how much you've given but has your faith been consistent
in offering all you have to God with a loving persistence
to be thankful when receiving any and all blessings that come from God
and responsible when you get them and holding them in the highest regards
but to offer anything to God that costs you nothing at all
is the difference between true sacrifice and just giving a lip call
for it's not about just talking the talk, it's about being willing to walk the walk
what motivates us? and what is in our hearts?
are two of the things that most concern our Lord God
to be about giving God your best, as He's the only one whom you need to address
there will be times of difficult instructions when you choose to follow His commands
there will be some hard choices to make that you may never come to understand
yes God will test you to determine your faithful resolve
but if you place your trust in Him some mysteries in your life may be solved
and when making a burnt offering to God it needs to be free and whole
coming from one's heart with the surrendering of one's soul
so never offer God anything that costs you nothing to give
remember it's only by His grace and mercy that you even live
Abraham was so faithful to God he was willing to offer his only son
his hope for the future, his heritage, his legacy now under the gun
about to slay his only son until the Angel of God appeared
and told him, "don't touch that child", for we know of God you now fear
he was willing to make the sacrifice and give all that from him God desired
no matter how hard, no matter how difficult to follow the instructions God inspired
hand God your hands and let Him have control
adhere to God's plans and surrender to Him your soul
trusting in what He instructs you to do
believing His blessings will then rain down on you
God has much in store for us when we follow His instructions
and will supply all our needs with His providential productions
His word is the pathway to promise and the roadway to righteousness
His love is the gateway to glory and the highway to holiness
so don't offer God anything that costs you nothing in life
for He made the greatest offer to you with the crucifixion of His son Jesus Christ
Abrading action
Dystopian scorn pours
Cheap chips liberally
Looking back in retrospect
Previous owners were circumspect
Not meaning harsh disrespect
But years of neglect
And upkeep gone unchecked
Amount much to the domino effect
Our new architect
With his cryptic dialect
And superior intellect
Presents his bold new project
Structural troubles to correct
Existing building to protect
Proud addition to erect
For youthfulness to inject
Pride and strength to resurrect
And combat the greenhouse effect
The costs both direct and indirect
There for us to dissect and inspect
Several naysayers to deflect
Since from all we’ll have to collect
Because we know some will object
To grand illusions of prospect
Garnered benefits to expect
And resurgence of self-respect
To create a positive ripple effect

As the cost of gasoline we’re computin’
To Vladimir P. it’s been imputined
Whereas that’s a subject of much disputin’
I’ll leave the solution to the high-falutin’
Love Costs Everything
To love another person
more than yourself costs you a lot
but to love the Lord as He deserves
costs you everything you’ve got.
For His love was not selfish
His love was certainly not cheap
His love came to deliver us
and He said that the price He paid was not too steep.
So He laid down His life
we must do the same
no price is too high
for His Righteousness we will gain.
Now, I prayerfully say to my Lord
what is it that You want me to do
no price I believe is too great my Master
for I truly love You.

its filthy in here; bodies litter the floor
I placed myself in danger just like before
meth has consumed my life for quite some time
its not hard to see why people resort to crime
the need is what brought us all to this place
In our desperation our morals were erased
With nothing left but an addiction to feed
We came to this house to get what we need
Too many of us are here, its way too loud
Someone has got to weed out this crowd
the lab is scattered about as we just wait
Its so close to being done, this part I hate
The air is stuffy and the windows are small
Fans are placed to move air down the hall
A thick smoke will soon become our air
As much as I hate it I always have to stare
I am terrified of all outcomes to this but one
With odds like that you'd think i'd be done
But as the smell of acid hits me in the face
A hundred memories appear; I begin to chase
Anxiety starts to build as I get closer to a hit
I begin a war inside me that dares me to quit
The risk that comes with all of this mess
Threatens to take it all and leave me less
I block out the warnings and ignore the signs
I pretend it's a gray area without fine lines
I am suddenly happy, it was worth the wait
My hands are shaking, which I hate
I get my bag and I head out the door
I know I'll be back as soon as I need more
Its funny how much evil we ignore to protect
Our friendly addiction, we dare not neglect
I see the significance
after all
I finally feel the pain
of it all
as I drive by
and
count
the
marching
headstones
Every
Single
Day
of your
duplicity
7/15/17
Picking up the pace, instead of lagging
Focused on me, not when others are nagging
And continually bragging
No matter if the scales are tilted or even
Following through on what I believe in
During every season
In any region
Using logic and reason
Below the stars, moon and sun
I've got to get it done
Instead of sweeping another one under the rug
In order to overcome
Regardless if the burden and boulder weighs a ton
Reaching toward a higher plateau
In the light and shadows
As well as the deep or shallows
Near and far from aloe
At all costs
Stepping it up another notch
Thinking outside the box
Carry on through the struggle
carry on through the pain
carry on through it all
until you rise again
hide to survive
stay alive
then you’ll thrive
don’t capitulate
just wait for the fight
the enemy is mighty
but might he remain
you might be mighty
when you come to reign
now is the night
wait for the light
out of the darkness
shining so bright
you’ll be forgotten
they won’t know your name
or you can keep plotting
with victory is fame
you won’t be remembered
as one who surrendered
but you’ll be a treasure
fighting forever
you live on your knees
you beg and you plead
or rise to your feet
you can fight and compete
If you have the option
give up is not one
defeat must be forced on you
no one can force you too
there is much more to do
dig deep and force it through
if you give up
it’s because you lack will
success is a mental state
more than it is skill
it’s the act of resilience
unable to move
the fact that your brilliance
can’t be removed
they think it’s all over
well, it isn’t yet
you won’t rollover
you’ll give what you get
no act of closure
no way you will quit
everyone knows you
fight and you hit
fight to the end
grow strong and grow fit
creating your destiny
waiting and desperately
hate grotesque enemies
greatness eventually
All through the crux
never crushed
never beaten
never rushed
never weakened
patiently waiting
all the while underrated
steadying nerve
go forth with worth
never surrender give up or give in
making the memories of a time you did win
Some have ambitions to knock others down
Make your ambition to still be around
They will use gossip or slanderous sound
but you shalt be moved standing your ground
If you’re in the right
then just carry on
they don’t want a fight
they just want you gone
Julius Caesar not Napoleon Blownapart
defeat would be easier but for your heart
give it your mind give it your soul
giving your being giving it whole
victory at all costs that is your goal
Past decade decayed in a mist of crimson
Last barricade barraged to escape this prison
The Shades of grey flow through my faulty prism
Light betrays - plain sight - guards march me back to my chasm
Cleaning crew - white suits - red spatter
Leaning cruelly towards me - empty eyes - soulless laughter
No body
Chains hold me
Cold so coldly
It is a small world to sail
through sweetheart,
if you have got love, it
makes the journey smart,
you are going to sleep on
mighty mountains
and wake up to enjoy the
freshest fountains.
Having hope to cope all
through a lifetime
is a gift of love and it does
not cost a dime.
It is a small world to sail
through sweetheart,
if you have got love, it
makes the journey smart.
You won't be fooled,
flowers will soon fade:
faithful friendship, calling a
spade a spade
is a gift of love that glows
through lifetime,
it is invaluable yet it doesn't
cost a dime.
It's a small world to sail
through sweetheart,
if you've got love, it make
the journey smart,
echoes of joy sound from a
million miles,
the sunshine sends you
sweetest of smiles;
such gifts of love flows
beyond a lifetime,
freely given to us, it does
not cost a dime.
