Here is who I am
and what I stand for ~
C onserving what is worth preserving
O pen to changing what's not working
N ot willing to throw out the baby with the bathwater
S teadfast when those around me are scurrying
E nabling my children and relatives to succeed
R eligious in the ecumenical sense of the word
V itally interested in my community's welfare
A larmed by the rise in incivility in public discourse
T ender-hearted and giving to the stranger, the widow, the orphan
I nterested in politics, but not obsessed with it
V oracious reader of classical fiction and non-fiction
E nduring privation graciously, with faith and trust in God
The Salon of Forbidden Ideas
is a place where the free-thinkers go
to express their unsanctioned opinions
and explore what they aren't meant to know...
At twilight, they slip through the shadows
of the alley 'twixt Far-Left and Right,
wearing black masks and cloaks of red satin,
bearing lanterns of unfiltered light.
The door to the salon is fastened
with various fashions of locks---
each one with a key and engraving
of the name of a theory or hoax.
For the one with the keys to unlock them
there awaits a most pleasant reception:
A tea in an elegant parlor
with others so-freed from deception.
Over salvers of tea cakes and lokum,
and samovars piping with steam,
they indulge in uncensored discussions
(like the cats who have gotten the cream).
The portaits of Nietzsche and Darwin,
and of Freud and Marcuse and Marx,
gaze down with intense indignation
as the fireplace feasts on their works.
Engraved on the mantle is FREEDOM,
and the roar of the flames, "Liberation!",
and the parlor is bright with the fireglow
from the canon of indoctrination.
Outside, in the mist and the darkness,
the justice wolves prowl on patrol---
sniffing fiercely for dissident skeptics
in their bloodthirsty lust for control.
The tea in the parlor continues---
as the wolves run the alleys in vain---
til the night-shadow fades into sunrise
and the guests don their masks once again.
Do you know the way to the Salon?
Do you have the keys to its door?
Simply follow the compass of Conscience,
and the pull of your heart to know more.
The alley is narrow and lonely;
you might lose your family or friends,
your religion or good reputation
before you arrive at its end...
But if you are yearning for freedom,
and the knowledge of truth is your goal,
there's an ear for your voice at the Salon,
and refreshment and peace for your soul.
My friends I’ve had a great idea,
I have to let you in on,
I can’t believe that no one else
Has thought of this before.
You all know how the NRA
Says guns have made us safer?
Well this should make the rabid cheer
Saint Brian has the floor!
You’d think that someone else would think
To just extend their logic
To bring about world peace perhaps
Would only take a day.
Just give a portable A-Bomb
To each and every voter,
Perhaps the Congress would respect
What people have to say.
We’ve all grown tired of hairless apes
Attacking like piranhas
The moment that a party man
Shows sign of intellect.
They dare suggest that all our woes
From highways down to healthcare
Can somehow be directly caused
By government defect?
It’s not our government at fault
But jerks avoiding taxes,
That corporations have a voice
Is just their latest ploy.
The fact that profit trumps all jobs
Means workers have less money
To buy the products they create
The nation’s fate a toy.
These men, these so-called patriots
Who hate the poor that feed them,
Suppress their votes at every turn,
Mass pillage is their plan.
But so seductive is their path
The poor think they are heroes,
Cannot appreciate the odds,
Confused by devil’s clan.
And every day the gulf between
The rich and poor gets wider,
What’s left to think except the rich
Are bound for suicide.
While they themselves may miss the heat
Live high on hog’s best tokens,
Their children certainly will not
Escape the bloody tide.
And God, I hate to say so but
I fear we eat our children,
Blind faith in technological
Advance could be our end.
A reverence for Nature has
Just vanished from our culture,
The only truth remaining is…
‘Just how much can I spend?’

Not Conservative or Liberal

Not Conservative or Liberal by definition cannot be.
The former wants tradition and the latter change to see.
The world is not the way it was, this country's not the same
As even twenty years ago, yet both parties play the game.
The population's doubled, at least it's nearly so.
We're fighting war on terror now; not a country that we know.
Manufacturing mostly off shore, computers run this place,
Old jobs are few and far between, education's a disgrace.
The expense of staying healthy is prohibitive today.
No family doctor cures, expensive specialists the way.
Christian preachers millionaires; now what could that be for?
Christ taught to help the needy and give something to the poor
The almighty dollar, is the God, of many I must say,
There's panic when the market falls 'cause God might go away.
Change has reared it's ugly head . It has since World War Two
We cannot turn the clock back now; it's quite impossible to do.
We need to work together from our Constitution's base
That's why our founding fathers put this paper in its place
Interpreted much differently, as required over time
To not do so for changes now would be a federal crime
The Constitution, by definition, is the tradition we should use
As the basis for the changes we must make or we will lose
This great country, so confused, maybe has lost its way
We the people, who are the government, must vote and have a say
Now is the time to be involved. Iowa's the first to test us all
We can sit home in PJ's or get ready for our call
Can't keep our voices quiet; must rant and rave and fuss
We must cast our vote when our time comes, or jump off the moving bus.
Woodrow Wilson said,"A
conservative is a man who just sits
and thinks, mostly sits."
Well, if he mostly sits,
I call that laziness.
If his feet were planted firmly in the
air, like FDR says,
At least he's not a radical.

I'd nominate you for president,
If there was any way I could-
But I'm afraid that the way you speak your mind,
Might be misunderstood-
You're gutsy and opinionated,
You're blustery and you're loud-
You're patriotic and principled,
You're articulate and you're proud-
The words you speak are right on point,
They'd appeal to many a crowd-
But you damn well, politicians would say,
"Those expressions are not allowed-"
Now, I hope this move enables you,
To say what you want with ease-
And never have to worry 'bout,
Those ones you might not please-
Oh, California, it's hard to let go,
Of a man who thinks like he-
But Idaho is a much safer state,
For a conservative man to be!
Precondition for the disgust, I set tight mouthed to not talk.
The ultimate right had been denied and now I was the intelligence they desired.
Within the first ten minutes, I stood up.
I felt frustration in my gut.
There was no reason for me to lose.
All these occurrences had happen.
Confidence had become dumb.
Therefore, I spoke out.
There was no excuse to do otherwise.
Unless there has been another life, they had nothing to go by.
Flexing, I stretched.
I yawned.
Then, he entered the room
He was the maker of Jake Daniels.
She was a Quaker in form.
She stated do not ask me to settle.
That is when I knew her mind was gone.
You mean to tell me you know the truth.
You mean to role-play me as the fool.
I just sighed awaiting for her next move.
He was not the one handling the case.
She was already in the room watching for agitation.
Mundane this has become.
Money gained will be the outcome!
This is an event of actions.
Defense against defensive is from incidents that caused bodily injury.
In fact, the Defense is in contradiction of the law.
An obvious attack on another person is open for disaster.
As proven, this has never transpired.
No transgression has not ever ensued via case law.
Why do they believe they can violated all the statues and laws of this country?

There will be catastrophic damages to our
great nation, if we elect the Project 2025
conservative administration..
They plan to holt all carbon emission goals and
return to drilling oil and gas and coals..
Begin the largest mass deportation.
Eliminate the Department of Education.
Adopt the biblical definition for marriage: a man,
and a woman and a baby carriage..
Those Justices who Roe vs Wade did kill, now
plan to ban the abortion pill.
Aiming at the "awoke agenda", to end equality
and inclusion, the message they render..
Planning to criminalize p.o.r.n., which has been
around way before most of us were born..
Repay there big donors that had their backs by
heavily reducing their corporate tax..
Ending the three branches of gov., a long standing
tradition, by placing the Department of Justice
under the Executive position.
All government employees will have no job protections,
the end of our Republic, a very sad projection..
George Osborne’s Speech at the Conservative Party Conference 2015
Yesterday, on the 5th of October, Chancellor George Osborne said,
He was gonna give devolved powers to local councils dead;
He was gonna extend his hand to the many, the working people,
Who feel a desolation from Jeremy Corbyn’s socialist steeple.
He hit on a high note, a marketing gold, when he nobly exclaimed,
That the Conservative Party were builders fixing the roof, aimed:
Said that financial infrastructure needs checked whilst functional;
Compared the tories to builders, who have an agreement contractual.
Calling yourself builders by no means suggests you care for them,
Politics should be about giving certain benefits to not pre-condemn,
Like more time off for male parents and paid vacation holidays,
To say how much we appreciate these builders for their athletic abilities.
Do you think George is quietly angling to become Prime Minister?
His celebrity diet at the start of 2014 alludes to such a mister,
When he took to running in St James’s Park and around his home,
And now I'm wondering if 10 Downing Street he will one day roam.
Bill's a conservative
upset that Meals on Wheels
and Medicaid face possible
cuts in America's budget.
He yells to colleagues
who also have money that
we shouldn’t mess with
elderly folks who depend
on one good meal a day and
shouldn’t say no to the poor
when they need a doctor.
Making these cuts won't make
America Great Again.
Making these cuts will make
America sadly inhumane.
Let’s break some day-old bread
with the old and poor and
revise that budget again.

The primal goal of old school markets,
in good weather times,
was to grow polycultural health,
investments as rich as diverse nutritional needs
of consuming and producing constituents.
So too, in bad climate times,
a depressed and fading market
was, and is, to survive Lose economic
and Lose environmental EarthTrends,
becoming more monoculturally played out,
exhausted,
Often picking up,
emigrating toward more promising lands
and fresh water,
more breathable air,
healthier opportunities for robust
democratic
fair
transparent
mutually vulnerable
win/win healthy-wealth transactions.
Robust markets are rich in co-passionate exchanges,
a flow between non-violent consumers and producers
rooted in healthy cooperative investments
in
and from
and of nutrition-sharing hearts
and minds
and voices,
thoughts with feelings still attached.
The right to free communicating markets
is a right of democratic access
and an ecological positive corollary right
of equal freedom from investing in poison,
imprisoning the competition,
waging war against those who terrify our megalomania
with their own autonomous hubris,
violent lies
hypocrisy
narcissism
egocentrism
anthropocentrism
xenophobia
patriarchalism
homophobia
win/lose evolutionary competitions,
runaway capital hoarding,
moral bankruptcy,
investment in ego-maniacal agendas,
hate,
elitism,
racism,
autonomous media and market control,
feelings of grandiose entitlement,
Jealous and zealous bad faith
sold out as spiritualized
and denatured
disembodied
unmarketable
unfree BadNews anti-truth.
Meanwhile,
Gaia continues running on a Health Platform,
healthy natural/spiritual democracy
for wealthy secular/sacred economy
for healthy left/right bicameral ecopolitics
for wealthy democratic free-market energy.

Does anyone know just what that means
Or don't care have gotten full
Full of all the puffing
And the posing from each side
Look closely how you're thinking
Where your loyalties reside
Don't blindly follow party lines
Think a little for yourself
Find out what's really happening
Don't take the Rx from the shelf
If you sheeply follow goats that lead
To trap you in the pen
And pull the wool upon your eyes
To keep you blind and then
They fill your ears with biased words
They trust you will not view
Don't think that you will lift the wool
To see what's happening to you
The best of things could happen
If you allow yourself to see
It's the people not the party
That's the place that we should be
Could end up a confusing mess
Maybe conservaliberality
Or liberservaindepend
For the likes of you and me
You'd rather protect tradition
Than accept your children
The dead matter more, of course
Your kids should accept that
It's easier for you to enforce these rules
than changing for the better
'no kid of yours-'
The kid is yours, and they're already terrified
Of the hate you show them
Every time you open your mouth
To shame the people on TV
Your childrens people
you make yourself an enemy
They avoid telling you about crushes because
You think it's unnatural
They think they're unnatural
What do you think? Is hate more natural?
Is your kid crying themselves to sleep more natural?
Is them wishing themselves away more natural?
Is your kid being threatened by your fellow church goers
More natural?
'Pray the gay away',
Tell God you hate in His name,
Tell Him you drove your kid away
Tell Him you won't love your neighbour
Because you refuse to change
