The Scarecrow

I have seen something and the something saw
a me, a scarecrow, stuffed with straw
in half with claims to more. The something’s not
into onlookers. A well done, a taut,
a plausible, I thought I looked alive
but the insightful something said: «A chive
can’t kill the stink of death». So ever since
I have been thinking what the something means
and what it meant…
Don’t see some things up close
if your vocation is to scare crows.

Premium Member Cars Number Twenty Five

The cars we have number twenty-five.
One is shaped like a royal bee hive.
Two are groovy, the blue one can certainly jive!
The red monster truck seems to be alive.
One is automatic and can self-propel-drive.
Jogger came by and asked my Cousin Chive,
Why are all these cars parked in front of that dive?
He chased him up the driveway in car twenty-five.

A Wile and Away

Now, I won’t say I love you no more
-not like I could with a straight face before
I’ve already reached your rotten core
To those spaces no one cares to explore

Benefits far too lost to reap
Lie upon lie you add to your heap
Like a limbless horse, like a worthless creep
Them disasters don’t make a peep

No they show in your every strive
In every worm you deprive
You the baked potato—I’m the chive
The fallen bit—the stricken thrive

I ain’t so peach n’ cream no more,
I’ve a wile and a way to the floor
I’ve kept all your ashes in store
And your whinin’ is making me sore

Yeah in that hellhole, delving deep
I find your wayside fib too steep
Downward I’ll plummet—you’ll weep
As the Lord I pray my soul to keep

Your dirty heart, it’s like a pitfall dive
Down a fire of pity and false drive
Aching to pull those ghouls into your lie
Till they bury themselves alive

An Ode To My Bee'sknee

Game thou not with mine heart,
By thine stonewalling art,
That we might have a love fest and glee
Of a lasting wetdream of rue free,
A love that endures fine,
Like the bristlecone pine.

How thine yea made my lovesick soul gay,
And how I yearned to behold this day!
Ought we not explore our may even soon,
Or will thou so bereave me of this boon?
Nay, anon to the hostelry let's ooze,
For it's fairly a country mile to cruise.

Neither did I had a clue,
Nor was I given a cue,
That thou art soothing of a chive,
That savour my life as I thrive
With a sweet smell of bliss,
Now my soul soar in peace.

Shall I compare thee to the altair?
Blazing blissful beams on me so fair!
Thou art so fair a sunlight,
Giving a shine to my night.

How my hands yearn to feel thy sleek skin, so cutesy and fey,
Like the sunbird so glossy, causing a stare all the way!

Thou have dewy looks like a cat, so brave,
Thou art gentle and harmless like a dove,
Thou art the bird of paradise, so fine,
Thy body, finely curved like cypress vine,
Thou smell so sweet like a fragrant pine beyond wanders,
And thy fragrance, even sweeter than the moon flower's.

How soothing of a moment beatific smile of thine,
Like rain, washed away aches of a lovelorn heart of mine.

Though, the sky may wear barren cloud,
And fails to drops of rain afford,
For the sun and moon may wane
And fail to afford a shine,
The love from my pure heart,
Shall glow and never faint.

Blossom of baby's breath,soft white

Buttercup,daisy&comely cowslip mingle
&mix in fellowship swaying pelts of grass
with purple vetch & ribwort plantain, clover
in English rain.Scabious,burnets butteflies
and bees hawthorn and scented woodruff.
Briar brambles sprawl,in dogrose so tall
above harts-tongue.
Seabank with scattered seaweed &
feathery fennel in aniseed;Alexander’s

Welcome wholesome fat hen,vibrant
shoots the vimen in Lamb’s lettuce
in Jack-in-the-hedge in wild radish,

Rosemary an evergreen
Chive th smallest onion see;
Basil for ice cream & sweets
Fresh Majoram for that special treat;
Bay leaves heighten any stew
Coriander for curry too!
Oregano in tomato rescipes
Lemon balm annoints the breeze;
No wood above the ground
In these plants can be found;
Neither a shrub ,nor tree
In our gardens ,growing free.

Rhys Jones

Rhys comes from the Rhondda Valley,
In South Wales from Church Village.
He was born with mild Cerebral Palsy,
And sprints in the T37 category, page.

As a child he played disability football,
But migrated to sprinting in good 2010,
So he got the London Paralympics call,
Where he sat in the 100 and 200m glen.

2014 found Rhys compete in Glasgow,
In the Commonwealth Games vital jive,
Where he ran the 100m even out hoe,
In 12.04 secs, taking the bronze chive.

By 2016, and after the games in Rio,
He was sixth in the world in his class,
Of T37 for people with a CP portfolio,
Which he never even envisaged, gas?!

Veggie Dip

Nothing really hits the spot
like fresh-made veggie dip.
All those green and crunchy things;
it really is a trip.

There are always mushrooms, too,
to add a little zest.
Of course, they don't really crunch,
but I like them best.

I make my dip with sour cream
then add the mayonnaise,
garlic, onion and fresh chive;
it really does amaze.

Marriage

Marriage

Some say marriage
Is a legal constitution
But some married people
Belong in a mental institution

A man wife don’t listen to him
She says he’s very cheap
The only way she pays attention
Is if he talking in his sleep

So he plays a trick on her
Say he got back pay that week
She cooks roti and fry alloo for him
And only kissing him on the cheeks

In marriage you start as a man
Then turns to a boy in time
The woman takes your pay check
And you can’t go out and lime

A friend told me his girlfriend
Had a small cute mouth
After they married you could
Hear her from cocoyea roundabout

All women are magicians
They born with that gift
Can put a man straight down
And then can give him a lift

Men are not magicians
What they is I can’t tell
Some does have a good woman
And still give her hell

Some men get their pay on Friday
Then drink out every cent
While the child don’t any diaper
And the wife can’t pay the rent

Then when he comes home
He asking for rice and duck meat
But he didn’t bring home any money
They have no grocery to eat

He has a lady in the market
Selling fruits, vegetables, and chive
Every time he goes out with her
He comes home and beat his wife

I hear she leave him and
 Gone by she mother house
The market lady dump him
Now he feeling like a louse

Marriage must build on respect
It’s so important to have
Because with out respect
Your love will start too stave

This is just my little philosophy
That I would like to share
For you young couples
I’m not trying to make you fear

A man has a nice daughter
He wants to fix us up
Boy I start running
Up till today I never stop

Premium Member Dawn In a Meadow

God gave me a sunrise today,
oh, it is bathed in purple hues;
in the mist of dawn flowers sway,
the great beauty inspires my muse.

There are mauve chive herbs and flowers,
God gave me a sunrise today;
my mind just lingers for hours- hours,
I pick a wildflower bouquet.

And in the lush fresh green I lay,
across the sky are streaks of gold;
God gave me a sunrise today,
a wonderful view to behold.

And the sun is tranquilizing,
I am caressed by a warm ray;
the scene is so mesmerizing,
God gave me a sunrise today.
