I Met This Charming Moonbeam Last Night

The arms of the willow started to sway
and this curious glow rippled my way.
While flirting with my feet,
nature played a song so sweet.
The lake our dance floor 'til the sun's first ray.

My Prince Charming

I can see you standing there
You are playing with her hair
Then I get the memories back
That girl used to be me
I sit at night and wonder why
We both held all our feelings inside
Then my heart just falls apart, filled with misery

Every night before I go to bed I pray, that you'll say
That you love me now and forever, and you're sorry
And that we'll never part
You promise not to break my heart
And then I..

Fall fast asleep
See you in my dreams
Hope that you will rescue me
My Prince charming
Why did you leave?
Tell me why'd you go away?
When the first words out your mouth were
I promise I will stay

I still think of you
Do you ever think of me?
Or am I the only one
Who's lonely
I know you've got another girl
You've got love on your side
While I'm all alone
Trying not to cry

Every night before I go to bed I pray, that you'll say
That you love me now and forever, and you're sorry
And that we'll never part
You promise not to break my heart
And then I..

Fall fast asleep
See you in my dreams
Hope that you will rescue me
My Prince charming
Why did you leave?
Tell me why'd you go away?
When the first words out your mouth were
I promise I will stay

Prince Charming and the Mermaid

Pelting shapely pebbles into the lucid lake,
Lonely, among daffodils and golden mandrakes,
And rejoicing the dance of silver flakes,
A delicate penumbra catches his fancy great,
And in a sweep, away, his heart does take.
Ruthless in love and incredible in stake,
He dives deep down,
Into his own grave.

Premium Member Charming Patterns

Charming patterns surround us,
          whispering in
          shadows of our lives.
Born as thoughts, painting our dreams
          with landscapes
          of greens, purples, reds;
abstract colors bursting onto our canvas.
          Patterns chase us through
           fields of watercolor wildflowers,
down slopes of wind-blown grasses
          of lavender-tipped gold.
We find them in balmy, cotton clouds, wind-carved rocks,
          and moss-covered stones
          kissed by noisy waters.
They sometimes ride on a butterfly's wings,
often found in new flowers, a child's face,
a leaf turned up, where a ladybug hides.
Charming patterns: mysterious looks they wear,
they cause us to question, to wonder, to imagine.
Both elegant and bold, charming patterns always present
          puzzles to unwind,
          stretching our minds.

Theres a saying that says that opposites attract
Well I am so gorgeous it seems it's a fact
I like a plain girl for whom I can care
Cos I like a girl I'll not have to share

To not have to punch other blokes would be great
So I'm really glad you're a bit overweight
I'd like to point out that you've made the right choice
For no other man could put up with your voice

You shouldn't feel bad that you're not that good looking
At least I'm not dead from your ‘inventive’ cooking
And who else could bolster this ego of mine
But a girl just like you who drinks way to much wine

I see guys look at you, I guess that it's pity
They wonder why I'm not with somebody pretty
I love our nights in, we don't go out to dine
You might scare the children my sweet Valentine

Well this is well weird, I'm sat home alone
You had to pop out when you'd answered the phone
I glare at the clock and it's three in the morning
I'm nearly asleep and I cannot stop yawning

At last there you are with that silly false smile
Some shortsighted fella has tried to beguile
A loser in love with no romantic powers
Who lumbered you up with chocolates and flowers

Who's that outside with a rose that is red
Don't get no ideas about three in a bed
You should understand that it's me that you're for
Er... why are my suitcases outside the door?

No Prince Charming

The white horse has been put out to pasture
The shining armor rusts on the cellar floor
You take off your dress; say you’re a damsel in distress.
You’re a little late babe, I don’t slay dragons anymore.

Yeah I can still swing my sword as good as ever
But, the fighting and the knighting became such a bore
Every princess that I find keeps changing her fickle mind
So I quit the rescue business; slaying dragon's not my chore.

Many a young maiden I have saved in bygone days
Waged battles that left me bruised and battered and sore
To watch them slither like a lizard into the arms of another evil wizard
Seems the ogres, trolls and goblins won when I tallied the final score.

So save the pensive cries for help, they only fall upon deaf ears
The promises of rich and lush rewards, I don’t listen to like I did before
You may find this news alarming but, I ain’t no dang Prince Charming
Find some other sucker to save you ‘cause I don’t slay dragons anymore.

Retreat within as stillness comes,
Seek the unseen as silence sums.

Put away toys from earthly plots,
Discard vain ploys and senseless thoughts.

Go deeper still to depths unknown,
Watch a wise will align soul' sown.

A still voice speaks with finesse kind,
Calmness now peaks true peace of mind.

The true heart knows beyond being,
A certain glow seeds new meaning.

Here beyond space or thought or time,
Behold a face where wise love chimes.

Words cannot reach the depth of truth,
Works fail to bridge that awesome proof.

Dream within dream, tale beyond tale,
A primal theme sparks kind avail.

No words can tell the cause of joy,
For grace can spell love's fond employ.

Prince Charming

He staggered from her bedroom zombie like,
And scratched his armpits, belching, breaking wind;
His hair was sticking up, his beard unkempt;
He took a shower, brushed his teeth – and grinned.

Charming Patterns

An eyelet wheel models medieval embroidery
Aromatic, ornamental garden ballet steps for lovers
Strolling in stately patterns of noble estate
Savory’s romance looping through lavender labyrinths
Lost in curves of sweet scented anise dreams
A pavel of peace in pungent fans of feathery dill
Set in soothing circles of demure comfort,
Inside squares of loyal rosemary tied with ribbons of sage
Trimmed with clarion harmony of marjoram’s gailland
And arches of drizzles leap as parsley festivity
Joyfully brushes the fingertips of rows in oregano courants
A center pistel radiates lines of tarragon in devotion
Dotted by French knots of thyme
With rosettes of mint scattered in diamonds about the maze
Virtuous embraces of shy courtly kisses
In basil’s blush of chain stitch purity
And to the almain of lutes and of lyres
To the harp strum, to the chaste flute,
A castle garden dances faithful fidelity
Telling the story of love’s longevity
In charming patterns.

Charmaine, the dear soul writes like an angel
Her poetry is beautiful and touching
She writes with a passion known to only a few
You'll find your heart you'll be clutching

Some just know how to create those phrases
That leave us in awe and wonderment
A natural talent that some are born with
For others it a struggle and torment

But Charming Charmaine has it down pat
It's to do with her approach to life
Definitely sways the way she writes poetry
A style that does surely entice

Charmaine, the dear lady is a friend of mine
I'm so happy to know this soul
Stands tall in the world of romantic poetry
So fortunate she's an honour to know!

Premium Member Prince Poet, the Charming

Oh, the gullible women threw themselves
at his intellectual poetry and prose.

To him, ah, he was as delightful as the scent
of a fragrant spring rose.

To their delicate dismay, they found him to
be a fraud and a sneak!

Inside, his forest green cape, they gasped!
Beware: HRM Prince Control Freak!

He was spreading evil talk amongst the princesses,
Causing dissension, heartbreak and not so
subtle hisses!

But Prince was simply righteous, out of some, to make fun?
The elixir of lies spread, by him was anything was droll
and humdrum.

He has changed, I am happy to loudly report!.
He has learned that others have their own views, not
in need of unwanted retorts.

Charming Patterns

Life, in layman’s terms is merely that…life
It is a means to an end, a diversion of daily consequence
A planned out, researched, blueprinted and stamped
happening that all of us, who are still here, live in

Life can be a series of costly calamities
or if you look past the requirements and rules,
a collection of charming patterns

They can be seen everywhere if you open your eyes
in a corn field row meandering through a sunny pasture,
crisscrossing lines in vibrant green that move in the wind

Or something as common as a brick wall, charming patterns
created to secure an area or set boundaries on a backyard garden
Each brick follows the lead of the one placed before it and
offers guidance to the next in line

Though some may not find them as charming as others,
it is all in how you look at them
A gathering of books on a shelf, high to low, wide to narrow
or grandma’s quilt…now you must agree, that can be very charming

To some, life is life and that is all you need to know, but to others
life is a series of charming patterns…finding them is like finding life itself
For it is what it is…make it charming

Make Me a Woman Prince Charming

Welcome me to the heaven of your manhood
That I shall sing romantic tales to your ears in sweet mood
Come to my breast and take my milk as wine
That no other visit would shake my feet as thine
Embrace my body from crown to my feet
For I shall give my best,my best be your ever best
Kiss my honey tasting ruby lips
Which shall redden your heart and comfort your chest
Put a young strong arm around my waist
Oh prince charming my bed had long await
Curse my eyes to awake at night
That such night shall be called a night
Let the music of my bed play smooth and silent
That I shall moan in tongue so calm and quiet
If a night is not enough to feed your pleasure
Then come to my bed in nights of countless measure
Give me love such love I have been missing
Make me a woman prince charming
