Best Brutality Poems
a knee, a neck, a symbol, a tool
the segregationist would be proud
fighting to breathe is a fight where
Vegas is covering all odds
let's lay our money and him down
the spittle, the pool on the ground
does not need to be explained, cleaned or vilified
this is America dammit where change
is not always the objective
where the unwritten far outweighs
the written rule of law
families bleed albeit slowly
that merciful hemorrhage
some swear isn't normal
let's riot shall we
let's set ablaze the constitution
that Letter from a Birmingham Jail
our Holy Bible
"Beware Of the Ides of the men on black"
The judges and jurors of our fates, blink.
Every time we will, they will reform it
They even gave them new uniforms
But they preferred the black 'It suits them mos'
And more guns,lesser humanity.
The Leaders of tomorrow are forbidden from seeing the morrows.
Put on rags, glorify poverty;
Just maybe, you will live to see another day of this craze of population control.
While the men on black and their rifle embark on patrol.
Pim pim,
Vroom vroom,
Police vans, parked by road sides
And policemen standing akimbo on major roads
With flash torches, flashing bright lights
Into the faces of incoming drivers
And their passengers if any.
A remainder of
'You better hold change
Or we seize the whole money'
'The Police is Your friend' with stern faces
Hello, young man may we know you.
"Paddy mi, make we gather reach town"
4:20pm, Fresh fine boys gunned downtown.
One, two shots!
Another happy-trigger officer had shot his shots.
"Oga Olopa wetin my pikin do you?"
The oceans flowed endlessly, as their mothers cried.
"Tattoo, dreadlocks, piercing not our culture!"
The Police report read.
For dumbness echoes now, while wisdom has been coerced into a deep sleep.
The toils of tomorrow built with the youth's blood.

Police brutality
should not be
ignored, but
exposed.
Excessive force
is being used on
innocent civilians
over petty ****.
Protect And Serve
they pledge, feels
more like a purge
instead.
Hot headed cops
above the law,
breaking the laws
they sworn to uphold.
Seems more like
thugs dressed in
uniforms.
I see them everyday
on cellphones driving,
parked at fire hydrants
on non emergency...
Going through red lights
without their sirens on,
with no care for human
lives at all.
Bullying, patronizing our
society, causing fear, and
bloodshed.
When will this nightmare
end ?
When will police brutality
come to an end ?

Not something I'm experiencing, but abuse is not only physical...It can be mental, emotional, verbal, psychological....Neglect is also a form of abuse.
In trying to find pics for this poem...I traveled to an ugly world. The images are haunting. I'm sickened to my core. The images will stay with me....children, the elderly, women, men, animals...all suffering. I'm sure if we are honest with ourselves, we will admit to being abusive at times. :( Let's make a change.
Defeating the Brutality
In a civilized world where people,
Even share the grief of their enemies
And write Poems and Songs
When they are in pains and
Are surrounded by sorrowful happenings.
The soldiers of Pakistan army
Have beheaded the Indian soldiers
In disguise and have eloped
In the darkness of cowardice.
What a bravery they have shown
Making a mockery of Geneva Convention
As, such human aspects
Have no meaning for such an army
Which believes in brutal killings only.
My nation is shocked and
The world is bewildered
To see this brutal act of cowardice
But those who have done this
Barbaric act
Are laughing in their dark chambers
As they believe in
Barbaric cruelty and
A denial of such acts
As not accepting a things
Is the best remedy
To befool the world.

It's hard to see a young
unarmed man die in the
hands of the police...
Doesn't matter what
color of your skin is,
or if he's a criminal
or not.
If he's not holding up
a gun, then shooting
him to death is murder.
I understand being
a cop is dangerous,
nerve racking.
Gotta make split
second decisions...
But if this is your job
description, then you
have to uphold the law
the way you were sworn
to do.
Not take the law into your
own hands for a personal
vendetta...
Cause he got away,
or didn't answer your
questions like you
wanted him to do.
I got a question to
ask you ?
Were you bullied in
school, now you're
all grown up...
And decided to be
a cop, and take all
your angry out on
whoever you feel
disrespected you.
Cause if so,
it's only gonna
get worse.
I only speak of law
enforcement officers
who abuse their authority,
a few bad seeds doesn't
kill a tree...
There's plenty of hard
working, caring, respectful
officers out there.
Don't judge them all
for the actions of a few.
For civilians and law
enforcement to eventually
get along, they have to
learn to respect each
other...
Before it gets worse.
How can we police
the world, if we can't
police our own here
back home.

Tell me why I heard someone once say that we were all equal regardless of race.
But every time I turn on the T.V. I see people getting shot up all over the place.
Black, white, red, and mixed aren't we all supposed to be treated the same?
It's a disgrace that the people who are supposed to make you feel safe are the ones shooting you dead ass in the face.
Hands up please don't shoot me but that don't seem to matter.
When I ask why this stuff happens they just look at me like excuse me did I stutter?
So tell me why all this happens and yet we get no ing justice.
How many more bodies will it take?
How many more sons, brothers, fathers, uncles, and nephews?
How much more bloodshed?
How many more people who can't breathe?
How many more cops being put on administrative leave?
How many more names?
How many more hashtags?
How many more questions do I have to ask?
How much louder does my voice have to go?
Or what, because I am a black girl no one should listen?
Dissenters dominate the streets,
The public dominion of demonstrations.
This POTUS threatens military domination.
Just forget the pesky First Amendment.
Sowing seeds of civil war
The best path to reelection.
Yet remonstrations rally relentless,
One man’s terminal chokehold
A symbol of structural racism.
A metaphor for the socioeconomic suffocation,
The clamor and commotion
torn and tormenting in every town.
Protestors street hue and cry,
voices of the marginalized and forgotten .
A human chain of disputant dissentients,
Occupiers striking for a new order.
Rebels demanding
a new systemic justice.
Their voices shout from all directions,
one sprays me in the face with liquid fire,
another kicks and stomps at my back and legs.
They beat another with their fists
pounding at his soft flesh like drums,
leaving him on the edge of life.
The taste of copper lingered on my lips
as the crimson ink
splattered on my face.
I put my hands up in surrender,
but once the fire rises within them
it spreads – consuming me along with it.
The sky weeps
as I fall with a thud on the asphalt.
The rain seeped into my skin like acid,
but nothing can wash away
the blood stain,
poured on the dull pavement.
My bruises have slowly healed as time
ticked away the brutal passions of their mistakes,
but my voice remains to break the silence.
Adjacent to Magic Mr. Coffee
Miss Sunbeam sits anxiously
atop the frigid Ms. Frigidaire
Grab two of her offspring
She protests perniciously
and shrieks ‘Kidnapper!!’
Madame Cuisinart murmurs
‘C’mon, right here in my slots
Oooh! Yes, you NAUGHTY boy’
Shove down her handle and hear
one victim exclaim to the other:
‘Hey bro, I think we’re toast’….
Damn RIGHT you are Sunny Boy
and don’t you dare burn me
then try to butter me up again
Bzzzt! (A shocking turn of events)
Knew a nasty lady named Matilda
Her features resembled that of a gorilla
Not a nice personality
Was known for brutality
Pushed li'l old ladies down just for the thrilla

long after a full moon
had thrown its arms around the sky
I stood with Al Stone
ignoring the futility in our lives
adolescence gave way to manhood
or so we like to believe
our ideology stifled
from a serious lack of dreams
with the care of a midwife
removing a child from the womb
a marijuana cigarette was born
then quickly consumed
our reality now disfigured
discolored and frayed
the sound of a revolver pop-pop-pop
felt like a siren calling our names
along the asphalt we strode
where graffiti had not taken over
the corner of lesson and life
pondering the tips of our noses
underneath that streetlight
the story we all must tell
misplaced direction
led to a portal of hell
our lack of caution
our upbringing tossed aside
opened the door for the siren
that revolver in our eyes
angels decided to sing
that melody an alarming sound
wheels of society turned and screeched
leaving tire tracks on the ground
the order was given to freeze
alternatives held tight in their hands
one placed directly at my temple
a transition from boy to man
Atrocious thinking and violence are
Father fed to bed sons in hatred sheets
Gowned in anger and false ideology
Heisting their true natures to stimulate
Abhorrent dogmas justifying violence and suffering -
News of heartbreaking actions frighten the world
In ways that shadow box our collective fears,
Subject us to senseless ignorance and brutality
Tapping us in a net of collective nightmares -
Attacking and torturing are no one's true nature.
None but God knows when and how love will overcome.
If we have humanity it means we are human ,
If we have brutality it means we are opposite of human.
Humanity helps us to get others solidarity,
But brutality helps us to be nasty.
Humanity and brutality can never walk together,
If humanity could defeat brutality our life will be smother.
Humanity could bring for us unlimited happiness,
But brutality will bring for us unlimited crisis.
They always stay in our mind together,
Humanity will help us to help others but brutality will make others life tougher.
Humanity is the symbol of purity,
But brutality is the symbol of cruelty,
They are the most vital part of human nature,
One can make our life happier and other can make our life bitter.
Our mind is the mixture of humanity and brutality
We should kill brutality if we want to spread everywhere humanity.
Humanity is the perfect solution for peace and prosperity
Brutality is the reason of permanent enxiety and audacity.
Youthful Anger Brought Hard Brutality
Gone are my days of great vitality
I wallow in ways of humanity
Hot rays are proof of my volcanity
My delays are full of profanity
Lonely nights sometimes comes insanity
These bad sights, a curse of urbanity
My plights come from sad, sad mentality
Found no rights on days of inanity
Great danger was losing morality
No stranger now to this reality
Youthful anger brought hard brutality
Game changer stopped a fatality
Now old age brings loathsome mundanity
Lost rage much needed formality
