Best Briefs Poems
Underwear used to be a fig leaf
Then somebody invented the brief
I think it’s absurd
To name it that word
I mean, what’s briefer than a leaf?
Was it named by a white collar thief?
Like a lawyer who longed to be chief?
I could see his purport
When he said in court
“Your Honor, I’ll make this brief, brief, brief.”
“First of all, I would not use a leaf
As our skivvies’ business motif.”
He then rests his brief case
And picks up his briefcase
That held leafs of briefs, and the chief’s briefs.
My Briefs Lorraine
Fecal stains on my briefs
they must be washed
but to my dismay
they’ve gone away
I left them in a drunken stupor
on the floor by the pooper
and now they’re nowhere to be found
It’s not that I should have a care
I have many other briefs to wear
but my Lorraine is dear to me
they’re brillant blue and such a sight
reflecting in the pale moonlight
what shall I do, it’s such a plight
If I don’t find Lorraine tonight

There's a lady I know by the name of Carol
She lives with a Dragon at her very own peril
He's caused her grief
By burning Mike's briefs
It's a good thing her Dragon is sterile

A clown caught
a tuna in the middle
of a pond in a park!
He says that the black
tuna was a very rare
species in the water world
With evidence collected
it is purported
that the tuna was colorless!
It is I Teddy,
reporting in Sun City.
It's quite a dilemma
You've posed on us guys
It's one or the other
But I don't know why
I quite love them both
But for choice I am glad
I think it depends
If I'm happy or sad
The freedom of boxers
Can bring me much joy
My parts swing freely
I could pose for Playboy
But wearing my tighties
I feel so secure
When I'm wearing tight jeans
I'm all male for sure
I guess what I'm saying
Can't choose 'tween the two
But whichever I wear
Sure hope it pleases you!

And if I take my blue jeans off
I got matching rubber underwear.

Beauty Briefs
Tulips escaping kisses
Yardbird noses ciphers scent
Poppies aim none are misses
Views gave letters of intent.
Orchids tropic heat enchants
Isle drums beat its ports of call
Crocus saying, springtime grants
Yet baseball scorecards beat all.
"Roses rooted in the earth
Bud in rhyme and verses sage
Lilies know a ghostly birth
Strewn across the patterned page".
Jasmine fragrant vines freely
Flacon oils sumptuous notes
Snowdrops charms frost ideally
Genteel sheet lay anecdotes.
Lilacs lost in translation
Bouquet secrets body talk
Shameplants melts by vibration
Signs clear a bonny shamrock.

love to your defence i come
for the allegiance i owe you
for the life and name you lend me
how could they say love is blind
if it never possesses not even an eye?
how can what yu never owned
ever be lost, missing or wanting?
of what use and meaning
are eyes to the one born blind?
how could you say love is blind
when it needs no sight?
and dark and light are aliens
where it reigns
love is not blind
for the heart the soul,
not glaucoma,cataract infected eyes,
are the eyes with which love sees
and love is not color blind
for color itself is love
love of nature to all creatures.
