The limbs of the tree are now cold and barren
as they reach up into the sky above
searching for what was lost,
as the playful, fallen leaves are now gone,
taken away with the winds of time.

Nothing but a gray cloudiness
overtakes the skies
the warm sunlight disappears
more and more each day
as the darkness closes in.
Frigid winds come down from the North,
bringing with them a reckless abandon
with no care for the warmth
of the human heart.

Cold raindrops evolve into icy snowflakes
that fall for miles
before they reach the earth
and are caught by the barren arms of the tree.
The world is now silent in the grace of wintertime.

A stubborn chill surrounds the human heart
trying to instill itself into every chamber
yet, it cannot end the beating drum
when there is a song of happiness
dwelling there forevermore.

Some days the sun still shines,
yet, it changes nothing
the warmth lingers somewhere else,
until the sun decides to stay
a little more each day.

Eventually, the warm-hearted will melt
away the frost around them.
The frozen ice will begin to thaw and disappear,
soon a small crack forms, and spreads across
separating the ice
where a trickle of water is finally free to flow
out into the warmth of springtime.
And the world comes back to life,
re-awakening and reborn again.

What a Heart Breaker

You break my heart and it's not a lie.
How can this happen and can't denied.
I should of known this was soon to come.
You been possess by evil turns you against me
Just like it was done to me & my father as well.

Seduce by thieves that like to steal other people family
For they not happy with they own. You forgot that how it started back then.

No body can't break my heart but only you.
For they are not family & didn't birth them.
I will always forgive you for your wrong
For I know it's not being cause by you
It's coming from the freaks with they envy for they creeps.

A broken heart parent is very common.
Good thing I am a Taurus it will be like nothing never happen.
You easy to manipulate from what I've been observing.
But keep in mind what I told you before they just using u
Like they done to me and had told you the whole truth.

I will never stop doing what I do for as your mother
I will always do my motherly duties. Like it or not for that how it will be.

I will always miss all the good times we had.
Before you was turned evil to your family at home.
Blood is thicker than water.the freaks that turned you will soon will be dealt.

You keep in mind of what I said. When I love my family I love them deep.
Darkness will rise, earthquake will rise, thunder & lighting will rise tsunami will rise. Just like it did in my country for I never let nobody mess with my family. Bless it be.

Premium Member Where's the Bottom

There is a bottom that is past what we thought we knew.
The sub-floors are there for false safety and reason, too.
When we get to the dirt under all the lies
and find the reasons we want to stay alive,
we are prepared to give it up and live instead of die.
The dirt we find on the floor of our bottom
is where the desires reside that have become our problem.
We made the bed and messed it up.
We tended to avert and try to give up.
Until we see the dirt below
we won't be able to reach up and let all else go.
To be on this side of the dirt and thankful for every day
is an amazing feeling knowing we are going to be okay.
God puts an exit at every choice we make.
A cross-roads of decisions that rock us like an earthquake.
When we finally see our lives are unmanageable...
that we can't do this on our own...
give it to Him and watch the change unfold.
Those chains that held us down
are now the essence of our God-given crown.
He melted, molded, and cleaned it all up.
He placed it upon our heads to show us our inheritance.
We will grow, live, love, and hurt.
All of this and we will, one day, become as the dirt.
No more pain,
no more suffering,
no more confusion,
because it'll be time for us to get to extend our wings.

Frozen
Struck by your hand
Gentle touch makes me stand
Between the eyes I'm captured
Enchanted I am, frozen ice raptured
Crystal dripping stalactites thawed
Stalagmites on ground awed
Then you vanished

Premium Member 22-Year-Old Deal Breaker

He proposed, wanted me to be his wife
But I knew his son would cause too much strife
A grown man with no goals
     His father he controls
I gently said, “No, I want a good life.”

In bed he lies, playing video games
“No work to be found,” this lazy son claims
     Blames the economy
     Acts irresponsibly
Sticks to his avatars; I use friends’ names

My past a mixed brew grilled by time
scarred by an ardor with an expiry date
curdling bone liver heart
dry as refrigerated omellete
a breakfast for one, and later
tea stale in stab of youtube replays
because we are bleeding, leaving
mocked by reality which once glued
our hours together, and now a story
absolutely pulp fiction, hard boiled
to a numb indifference, although
I miss those rugged jeans
scratching gym- stroked thighs
as we fight again again about
the difference between and time and love
while our room screams of
my heartbreaking chains released...at last

My Family's First Generational Curse Breaker

MY FAMILY'S FIRST GENERATIONAL CURSE BREAKER

In a lineage burdened by shadows past,
There emerged a soul, destined to outlast.
The first generational curse breaker they became,
A beacon of hope, bearing a different name.

Through the tapestry of time, their path did unravel,
With courage and strength, they chose to travel.
Breaking the chains that held their kin,
They set forth on a journey, a battle to win.

Behold, my ancestors watch me break free,
Strainously detach from our family tree,
And a curse causing a generational trauma,
Setting off a life tragedy chains of drama.

In the face of adversity, I stood tall,
Lifting the weight that had befallen my call.
With love in my heart and a fire within,
I shattered the cycle, where it had once been.

With every step forward, the past erased,
A legacy of healing I surely embraced.
My spirit, a testament to resilience and might,
A candle of change, shining so bright.

In the embrace of my loving embrace,
A new chapter began like a fresh space.
A family transformed, a curse unbound,
In my footsteps, hope would definitely sound.

So here's to the one who dared to break free,
Who defied destiny with unwavering decree:
May your story inspire & ignite the flame,
For future generations to never be the same.

For they are the hero, the guiding light,
Embodiments of strength in the darkest night.³°

Ice Breaker

doomsday glaciers melting rest upon seabed
benign blizzard temps endanger ground zero
turbulence cause a desert
warming waters near frozen lakes I shall fear
Iceland volcano displays her open wounds
magma of our Earth’s crust vomits Her vengeance
blue lagoon shimmers of red blood polar bear
global sea level rises
accelerating where there should be more ice
magic gone shows no mercy
dazzled domain of milky beauty lacks snow
sandstorms in the ice bubble
millennia of the past we inherit
minke whale
blubber made into goulash
expedition boats bulbous bow ice breakers
who will dominate Antarctica's future
consolation prize has awarded no one
my world shall go from snow white to a blue sea
sixty eight percent freshwater flows freely

Heart Breaker

See how little time it takes
To hate the one you love
The one of all, I cared so much

Tin and thick yet to come
Storm and wing still afar
Quick in time it fades away

Hit and run
Never pays
Good to know who you are
Bye-bye love and come no more.

The Dreams of a Lady Stone Breaker

I got the inspiration to write this Poem from a picture published on face book of a lady stone breaker as per URL given below

The dreams of a lady stone breaker
.
I keep hammering the stones
Till they break into pieces
From morning till evening
While keeping myself mum
So that my child
Tied on my back
May not get disturb, sad and cry. 01
.
Then only I get
Some money to survive
The next twenty four hours
Not for myself but
For this small child
To feed him some milk and bread. 02
.
But to live and survive
Is not that easy
That one gets work
Everyday
After breaking
All these stones
I hardly get some time
To pass it
With satisfaction and at ease. 03
.
I do not know
How and what happiness is
But when I get some work
Then I feel as if
My prayers are accepted
I tomorrow I shall not be
wandering here and there
To search some job
Then what I feel and reflect
on my face
Perhaps would be
What you call happiness
The happiness of getting a job. 04
.
Just that is my wealth
My dream and
My wishes
To live and survive.
Your happiness
Would be something different
But that
I do not know. 05

Heart Breaker

The sound
of shattering glass
is eccentric,
almost as amazing as
shattering your heart.

Code Breaker

You gave us something to trust
You gave of yourself unselfishly
You were there by our side
You reminded us what is it to be human
But to strive for so much more
You gave us a brain to decide
Your compass directs the way
You are the key stone, the cap stone
You are the coordinates we seek to reach
You are the vehicle we want to ride upon
You are the transportation source
You develop the languages we hold so dear
You create patterns for us to figure out
You are the code breaker
You are the constants in our equation
You keep us on track and in firm footing
You bring sanity and logic to an insane and sometimes unexplainable events
You bring calmness and serenity to our minds and hearts
You teach us to value your words and teachings
You are the unexplainable, you are majestic, you are Pure Love
You are adrenaline and motivation
You are our coach and trainer
You are the Rescuer

Rule Breaker

Risk taker, warrior maker…
Stand tall.
He is with you.
Do not fear, what they may say…
as they would say it any way,
if you were
here, or there,
or anywhere.

It is His voice,
whispering in the dark,
thundering through the clouds,
laughing in the water of the streams…
the very river of life, His blood.

I was told, “I” was being measured.
I was concerned, and then suddenly free.
I can never be counted and confined…
for “you” can never know Him…
if “you” don’t already see,
all that before,
all that is after,
all that is to come.

It is not me at all.
I am small.
He is ALL!

Her hands appeared empty at my first glance
I walked in her direction for a look
A little bit shy but I took a chance
I then noticed she was holding a book
When she looked in my eyes my insides shook

I gathered my courage to say hello
Would she talk to me I really hoped so
I was so thankful she treated me nice
Her mannerisms were easy and slow
Seeing that book helped me to break the ice

Vagary describes my affection

Illicit moves draw me to attention

Venus reminds me i am making an err

Infatuation tells me not to fear

Argus seems to watch over every step

Noxious intentions remain my only rep.
