I found it was metaphorical, either is good. Thank you for my inclusion in your book, that's a lovely gesture. Many thanks, Suzette

I was holding in there til I got to minke goulash, and then the vision created in my mind and my pent up feelings escaped, and blubbered like a baby. What a moving poem Anaya ! Green peace should adopt it as their anthem. Its horrible in wonderful way. Still typing through misted eyes. You are to be congratulated for writing such a stirring thought provoking poem. Wen

We've lived our lives, Victor. I don't think anyone of us will ever really see the end of our beautiful world. Bless you always!

Ah this is so well written and so powerful dear anaya, i was looking at the contest details too and thought it says we shouldn’t use the word “ reality” but not sure exactly. However your poem is brilliant. I must say and iceland is a place thats on my bucket list i would love to visit oneday. The truth you’ve conveyed here is palpable. I can feel so much especially through the line “ warm waters near frozen lakes I shall fear Iceland volcano leaves…”whoa. Moving. And the imagery is so good! BOL

If left to their own devices mankind would surely ruin this beautiful planet home. However, I am convinced divine intervention is imminent and that Jesus will save this awesome jewel in space. Nice write Anaya
