 Pray for love, peace today
Stay focus in God, heart, mind
 Remember Gods good, kind
God can help each single day
And each step of your way
Walk in His light, not blind
 Remember Gods good, kind
 Love, worship, pray each day.

So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
1 Corinthians 13:13 (NIV)

-“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16 (NIV)

- Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer
Romans 12: 12 ( NIV )

-The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.”
 Exodus 14: 13 ( NIV )

“Kindness is a language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see.”

A Brace of Limericks

I. [Nude, Descending a Staircase]

Up at night for a bite in my kitch-on,
Down the stairs came my wife: not a stitch on.
   Parts that should stand up, sagged;
   Others once perky, dragged--
How I wish I had not flipped the switch on!

II. [Rising Star]

There is a fakir from Darjeeling
Who can levitate up to the ceiling.
   As an aide he requires
   A young girl who inspires--
But it helps if her costume’s revealing!

Brace For Impact

I never thought of love as a game of chance
Only that we were forever bound by romance
Didn't think it was a gamble to fall in love with you
until the interest on my losses quickly began to accrue

I intended to play the hand that I was dealt
but nothing eased the grieving and pain I felt
I didn't see it coming. I didn't hear thunder's roar.
No time to brace myself from being swept offshore

Fate shuffled the deck, and you got the joker,
A wild card you used as if we were playing poker
Your actions made me falter, wobbly and unsteady
but to walk away from you? For that, I was not ready

I'd already thrown my ante upon the table
and kept playing the game as long as I was able
but I had no seat belt to buckle; no life vest found
I couldn't prevent myself from crashing to the ground

I was unprepared to lose; no time to be braced
against grief and heartache with which I was faced
The stakes were much too high. Should I raise or fold?
I said, "I'm all in." No longer was I willing to be controlled.

I braced myself when you replied, "I'll call."
Never did I think I'd feel so vulnerable or small,
Despite the odds, I steeled myself to see your hand,
but what I saw was fear in your eyes once mine was fanned.

You tried to bluff me with just a pair of kings.
If you felt the need to win, take my wedding rings
You're nothing but a loser, and I'll have the last word.
I've won back my heart before more sorrow was incurred.

You better brace your ego, now that you're alone,
reaping calamity and regret from seeds you've sown.
Love should never be a gambling game that people play.
Your betrayal impacted my life, but I survived to walk away.

Brace For Impact

Pillar of society, creme de la creme, important person,
one to be reckoned by indeed.
One who's untouched by palls, frails near a radiant ray
   growing escorts doth proceed.
Voice of distinction whose speeches are unchallenged
   by its assertion that's decreed.
Unphased episodes courses the agendas, a sequence
   that discerns simper's precede.

A tempestuous dominance succeeds ominously, envy
   malcontents opposition brews.
A reddish rosebud blossom pleasantly teases passing
   precious sinless longing views.
Momentarily, likely hopefuls sufficed with promiscuity,
as castles are in the air amuse.
Tease now meets, precious turns valuable, the sinless
   goes erringly, a longing peruse.

It's Victor Victoria all o'er again, contentious contempt
   prompt convenient conveyance.
Spun wove a collaring, intrigues the unconscious prey
   lifeline throbbings flit abeyance.
Reflections forfeited understanding, extending affairs
   remaining heartfelt purveyance.
A cunning round effortlessly played a quagmire knew
a must to revisit the surveyance.

Gameplayers oriented with odds best strategy, ne'er
is an even field, someone loses.
The furnishings and ambiance, constant the unwary
   yet, talented eyes espy cruises.
The vibrant and the figurative ignored the trappings
   materializes oneness' enthuses.
Benumbed by skepticism facilitates a stirring, bestill
   as mesmerizing coequals fuses.

Skulked fogs' ethereal coursing mauling hilltops full
   as the penthouse lights dwindle.
Midst Aurora's wake a bliss wanes, as lights reclaim
the wilting as a mint thorn tingle.
The advent baffles confused as concealed cameras
   videos live and reporters mingle.
Crushed stand, a ring falls, plays another team, not
alone, brace for impact, a kindle.

Steadfastness of faith-altitude
Anchored by Sovereign fortitude
Such is my humble prayer-plight…
Lord, brace my trust-impact full might.

When angst prevails midst life’s pressures
Your statutes of divine treasures
Prop up my soul for holy fight…
Lord, brace my service-impact height.

Abiding in Your fellowship
While following blest leadership
I’m geared to do well, sans sin blight
Lord, brace my steward-impact light.

Confessing guilt and transgression
My heart cleaves to Your compassion
Being pardoned to be contrite…
Lord, brace my walk-impact aright.

Hearkening to Your truthful voice
To stay against deceitful poise
I stand* firm on wisdom’s insight…
Lord, brace my choice-impact from fright.

Triumph of Your empowerment
Marked by blissful accomplishment
Keeps me pleasing You day and night…
Lord, brace my love’s impact; oh, bright.

Devoting all my utmost best
Praising You with gratitude zest
This poem for You I humbly write…
Lord, brace my poetry-impact flight.

Are They Really a Myth -Brace Octave-

Are they really a myth?
Or in fact, are they a legend?
Something that's always been invisioned
In the heart of a child, a Fairytale gift
Once thought to roam the earth
Creatures so mystical and magical
Prancing at the foot of ancient castles
Enjoying the sun and moon's rebirth.

Brace Yourself, My Lover

Brace yourself, my lover
When the storm comes by
The winds will cease anything to a halt
The silhouettes will fade away
Except my love will stand still

Do not cry, my love
I cannot shield myself from this world
Yet my love is not a faux
I will remember your tears
Then again, I hope your tears could color this dying earth
And become a beauty once again

A helpless man that I am
Could only be gone from my own heart
Fate is not something we could play with
Nonetheless, I will pray for you, my love

We will meet again in another life
With no hesitation, I will come and get you
So please wait for me
My dear, my love, my eternity awaits me
This departure is not forever
So please brace yourself

Brace For Impact

The world on his shoulders,
He trudges along,
Standing amid the crashing sea,
He pushes on,
In gloom’s embrace,
He pulls away,
He believes lost time can be redeemed,
He has seen a path none around can see,
He walks on grace’s path,
They don’t bear the periscope,
They can't see through the veil,
They can’t see him inside out,
Courage props and supports,
Hope has not left him in the lurch,
He walks every mile in
 unflinching determination,
Brighter days are in his view.

Global warming is heating up now:
it's no communist Chinese cash cow.
And the low-lying lands are flooding:
they can't be saved; we lack the know-how.

Many people are going to die
as oceans rise to an all-time high.
And we need to brace for its impact,
for a severe climate change is nigh.

As starvation and disease increase,
looters will be shot by the police.
And countries will fight for resources;
thereby thwarting any chance for peace.

We're no longer able to prevent,
nor slow down this climatic event.
Cash can't stop the inevitable:
it could have, but that coin has been spent.

Bound to Earth, we share the same tether:
no one is immune to the weather.
And there's no point in assigning blame:
we must face this crisis together.

Getting older and falling from grace
Never left the town of her birthplace
Year after year working on the same data base
She suffers from a serious bout of commonplace

Life just seems like a constant race
So much so she’s looking for a hiding place
To take a break from the insane rat race
‘Cause she’s nowhere ready for her final resting place

For some fun and to pick up the pace
She brainstormed ideas to give chase
Since she always had an interest in aerospace
She booked herself a trip to outer space

Outer space sounds just right to find her inner space

Brace for impact because it is everything you thought you wanted
and truth be told its ever so much more,
The lie was wrapped so brightly,
and it was advertised just right,
The fact that devil had the details
was cleverly held out of sight.
Brace for impact because it is all about to tumble down
it will be the tsunami you never expected
and a mess you can't clean alone.
Brace for impact of the blame game
You'll be set up with the smoking gun,
and you will feel the oppression that victim-hood brings.
The devil was the conductor
and he lied to you about the quality of the show,
so brace yourself for impact
because your suffering is about to set fire to its creepy glow.

Brace For Impact

           Brace for impact with tact
              and promptness
              to access success
             on venture or adventure
             at present or in future.
Meet the challenge at any range.

             Brace for impact
             Act, react or interact:
             Always in progress
             proceeding dauntless
              never to regress!
              Even if to endure failure.

             Work if gone wrong.
              Stay stable and strong
              Rectify and correct.
             To be precise and perfect
              Keep your head erect.

              Honest approach with sporty spirit:
Victory or defeat not the criterion.
              Dynamism is the countable credit.

            Whatever be the environ
              Calm cool or turbulent
              Hopeful or despondent
               Confront at every front
               Face fearful fact.
               Brace for impact.
