Waiting For a Message In a Bottle

The waves calm me down as I sit and wonder
For my love is lost in the stormy scurrilous sea
And I know my hapless heart to be torn asunder
As I wait for my true love to wash back to me
~~~
The clouds move in to hide the paralytic pain
And the thunder muffles the beat of my heart
Within entangled emotions that silently drain
Toward the wounded waters that keep us apart
~~~
Perhaps in the deep distance, there may be hope
For the shore surrenders its secrets of the mist
I’m sinking in the sand of eternity trying to cope
Digging upon dreams of the last time I was kissed
~~~
Thus now the Earth begins to shake and wobble
For it brings forth to me, my message in a bottle.
Love Notes in a Bottle
It came as a last meandering thought
How could I know?
Maybe a thousand years from now
On a far away shore
Would exist a lady of mystical lore
Reciting sonnets of medieval tales
In magic forests, dreaming of love
As I love
Who could feel a bond so delicate as a doves feathers
A pain so strong, like a tiger wronged
That to part would mean emotional low tides to come
That she could feel the loneliness of night
The scent of the morning dew
The feeling of rain upon ones breast
The smell of the rose
The view of the meadows
The Laughter as the children danced
The plea of one whose heart bleeds
The desires to capture love and yet remain free
Her eyes would show her ageless beauty
Her smile would hide her thoughts
Wrapped deep
Inside of old love letters
She would sigh
As I recited old prose
We would hand in hand repose
Knowing growing old is how it goes
Alas she is but an image in my mind
A thousand years till birth
Or even more
A fantasy, that lets me die in peace
That someone could love as I loved thee
You were my past, and my eternity
Lovers who never took flight
Broken wings, and broken borders
Boundaries never crossed
Kisses though we never lost
On every wind swept shore
I wander with the birds scouting overhead
As wave upon wave of desolation slaps my head
A woman is over there by the sea
She but a stranger in the mist
So not at all is she thee
A thousand years from now
On wind swept shore
Will she be forlorn?
Weeping for the likes of me
Whispering inside, he was here but a thousand years ago
Love letters telling loves desires
Inside a bottle and buried in sand
Alas is the ocean not made of ancient tears
Premium Member No Genie In This Bottle
I come in a pretty bottle
But no I’m not a Genie
Yet I can promise big problems
For a time will feel teeny
I’ve been called liquid courage
I’m really the refuge of the weak
If you lack confidence darling
You will no longer feel meek
You might start out laughing
Until the tears dilute your beer
If only you had avoided me
You wouldn’t find yourself here
Unlike a magic Genie
I offer you no wishes times three
Have another  bottle  of tequila
So you can live inside me
I love how you caress me
As I slip past your lips
You can feel me warm you
From your head to your hips
Minutes to hours
The years all sipped away
You are obsessed with me darling
and for me that’s AOK
In time I’ll replace your family
Take your job and your home
Still some stranger will join you
Because who likes to drink alone
Want is my weapon
The bottle is my perfect trap
You are welcome any time lover
You just have to remove the cap
Oh, where are those waves
of bygone days
that caressed and rocked
on hearing you cry?
‘Sleep little ship’ I'd murmur low
while ocean crooned her soft lullaby
Turbulent change wrought by tempestuous winds
Fresh cravings to taste the salted breeze
In foam and spray twixt the now lashing waves
Illusions waft to tempt and tease
Resounding thunder heralds a storm
Streaks of lightning split the skies
Your torch burning bright to take the helm
for selfish reasons my love denies
Indecisions vacillate crucial visions
cavernous chasms far withdrawn
The deeper I think the lower I sink
The wind howls forth a cry forlorn
No delusion with love ~ high the price
In this icy realm my resistance will take
a solicitous change of a Mother’s heart
Look not the shattered glass in your wake
The impulses of the over protective mother and keeping her child sheltered in a bubble away from the real world is just not feasible anymore. The ‘Breaking Point’ is, when she must weigh up her own feelings - either relinquishing her relationship with her offspring by forcing it to stay, or breaking her heart if she lets it go.
Ultimately, as in the ‘Story of Life’…. Love conquers all.
hide this bottle
Hide this bottle from me,
That I could drink
This Chateauneuf du Pape
More tempting than the smile of a maid,
this Saint Emilion sneaky
Who has no saint but the name,
Hide this bottle from me,
This haut c$ote de Beaune,
Straight from the Middle Ages,
This rosé of Provence so sincere
Who would make pretty Bretons blush,
In a creperie of Brest.
Hide this bottle from me,
This Sauternes so sweet, so sweet
That makes high school girls naughty,
Hide me this bottle,
That I might well drink,
This wild little sauvignon,
Love is enough to make me drunk.
Cachez-moi cette bouteille,
Que je pourrais bien boire
Ce Chateauneuf du Pape
Plus tentant que les fesses d’une pucelle,
ce Saint Emilion sournois
Qui n’a de saint que le nom,
Cachez-moi cette bouteille,
Ce haut côte de Beaune,
Venu tout droit du Moyen Age,
Ce rosé de Provence si sincère
Qui ferait rougir de jolies bretonnes,
Dans une crêperie brestoise.
Cachez-moi cette bouteille,
Ce Sauternes si sucré, si doux
Qui rend les lycéennes coquines,
Cachez moi cette bouteille,
Que je pourrais bien boire,
Ce sauvignon peu sauvage,
L’amour suffit à m’enivrer.
When the Bottle Lets You Down
Can I ask a question of you my friend?
   Have you started drinking from the bottle again?
You look so down it’s clear to see.
   What you really need is to be set free.
The answer to your problems they won’t be found.
   Coming from that bottle you just put down.
You don’t bend your elbow you bend your knees
   Trust me just once He’ll hear your pleas.
You’re hurting so, I can feel your pain.
   There’s a way out, and it’s so very plain.
I was where you’re at not long ago.
   But I had someone who wouldn’t let go.
Now I want to be that someone that you can turn to.
   Help to guide your path and the things you do.
Are you really proud of your life thus far?
   Drowning your sorrows in some dim lit bar.
How many times were you too drunk to care?
   Well I can relate, yeah I’ve been there.
You thought you lost it all, that’s just not true.
   If you trust in Jesus I guarantee you, He’ll lead you through.
We all make excuses for the things we do.
   He’s heard every excuse there is a million times or two.
Quit trying to blame Him, He didn’t put you there.
   You know I’m right, But you just don’t care.
Listen little bud, you’re like a son to me.
   I care for you very much, I just want you to see.
I know I led you wrong for many, many years.
   Now you’re carrying all my demons and most of my fears.
I know you care for me a lot, that’s very plain to see.
   Now turn it over to Our Savior, let Him be the one to set you free.
Olive green bottle garden
once beautified her perfect patio.
Resplendent with venust foliage
and pretty alpine flowering cacti.
Sadly, with declining mobility
its owner no longer ventures outdoors.
Now grungy, its only visitors
are two defecating pigeons.
Got worse when she wed Me Hung Well
     Set to give what he ought
And spent all night ringing her bell.
Wrecked on an island - alone - I eat
pineapples and coconut meat.
Though salvaged were paper and
ink, this is still my plight:
Who’s ever going
to read the poems
and stories
that I
write?
I've been marooned on this isle for months
Sharks circle here licking their chops
Haven't had very much grub
Just some coconut meat
No gals in grass skirts
Tsunami near
Oh dear me
Ahoy
Yo Ho Ho and a Bottle of Tums
My wife and I went for a cruise in the Caribbean Sea,
I decided that I would talk like a pirate ‘till she got sick of me.
I told her that I was going to steal a look at her treasured chest,
Or get my hands on her booty whichever I liked the best.
And if she’d shiver me timber I told her that I would swash her buckle,
She didn’t think too much of my offer but it made me start to chuckle.
I twisted one hand into a gnarled hook and even fashioned for her a peg,
I kept it up until, “Please stop this pirate business,” she began to beg.
But it seems I had an enemy trying to thwart me on the cruise,
A buffet line or my beautiful wife, which one would I choose?
And then they fired their big guns at me from the dessert buffet table,
The carbs took the wind from my sails until my libido wasn’t able.
When you sail the sea with a fork in hand your love life will be fleein’,
Try your best not to surrender yourself to the pie plates of the Caribbean.
A Bottle of Red
Slipping down inside a crystal chandelier
red rouge cheeks running on through
breathe  as visions settle in my mind
you're just a little bit of nutty
with an apricot perfume
quite exceptional  I do say
a kindred spirit bouquet
Teasing along the tip of my palate
caramel gaze of grandeur glows
as you kiss my parched lips away
partaking a perfect compliment
in every simple way
sparkles spill in anticipation
topping off a pleasant kind of day
A Message In a Bottle
If you find me
I'm yours
A soulmate forever more
For the love that be eternal
My heart beats just once more
But first
I am an enigmatic conundrum
The puzzled puzzler
But a most dynamic lover
If u take the time
To piece my mind
Together beyond its cover
Then you'll be
The poetry in my life
Having poetic eyes
Eloquently worded lips
A fierce love lyric
Pounding the heart
Of the soul that entices me
A soulful beauty in melody
With note flowing lips
Love lyric bursting eyes
A voice of music
Keeping me forever capsized
But first
Whose passionate enough to decipher
The puzzle I send out to sea
One sealed by love
With a treasure map
Back to me
Until then
If you find me
I'm yours
A soulmate forever more
For the love that be eternal
My heart beats just once more
Premium Member Sex In a Bottle
I love when your eyes look into my body,
My body made just for you.
You love my name, my red, my dress,
And my body wants all of you too.
I love when you're grabbing both of my hips,
Tightly with both of your hands.
You dominate and pull me up to your face,
And I obey every single command.
And then that instant, when your warm wet mouth
Envelops my perfect pure nerve.
I explode when all of me goes into all of you,
Filling your entire reserve.
Now, that perfect moment straight after,
You tighten your grip and I choke.
And you gaze back through my empty body,
I'm inside you now, your bottle of coke.
