Bon voyage. Out to sea. A luxury cruise.
Out to sea. Things UNKNOWN about this sea.
Cruising away with warmth in tow

One serene ocean was seen
While venturing out alone on deck
An orca had been noticed, a
KILLER WHALE in its natural home.

A habitat mostly UNKNOWN.
Bon voyage killer whale
BE AT PEACE

Bon Voyage.

We christen thee Titanic
unsinkable, gigantic.
but lack of options cost her.
First one: a good defroster.

Delusions of Grandeur- Bon Voyage

I rule the World just for a minute,
And all I see is MINE!
A sigh of Time that feels infinite-
Some stroll beyond the "borderline"
This Galaxy, it belongs to ME!
Like Alice through the "Looking Glass"
How sweet this mental Odyssey!
Too bad it never, ever lasts...

Bon Voyage

Shipwrecks, Ye Sailors, take courage,
the bounty is beyond the reef.
  Oh fortunate ones, seek destiny,
the journey is in your belief!

Turn the wheel gently, not lonely,
and share with the Captain of souls.
Bring me the gold and the booty,
and be at peace with your goals.

Your sails, are they tossed to the wind,
but your stern, does it steady the bow?
  Shipwrecks, Ye Sailors, take courage,
the time of your destiny is now!

Bon Voyage

tattered, yellow napkin
softly settles into the murky lake
as it absorbs it's last spill
our names in gold, still legible

this ring, never fit, seldom worn
"I love you" etched innermost
I know you do, I just couldn't say it much
now I can, but you don't hear

it's cold out, especially on the water
our favorite time, autumn's change upon us
our old craft, tattered sail I told you I'd fix
before your birthday that never came

now why bother, It's the final voyage
a muted splash as the ring follows
and I sit, shivering silently in the blue dusk
the cold urn between my knees

now raised, and poured
a cloud of dust, your earthly remnants
ashes to ashes to water to earth
our dreams unlived, dissolved like you

in the muddy waters we once loved
nothing left for me: no us, no time
I follow your lead, but not softly, not muted
a last gulp and it's really not bad

Sinking, thinking, wishing
watching our boat bobbing beneath
silence is screaming, I gasp
I'm warmed as I see your smile.

Bon Voyage

Bon Voyage.

Seize the day, my sweet rosebud,
It’s time for you to blossom and become a woman.
Open your angel wings and let your love light shine,
Embrace all you wish for, throughout your life time.

Find your paradise, at the end of the rainbow,
Travel the world and speak the local lingo.
Taste the finest foods, that are foreign to your tongue,
Find contentment, enlightenment and riches
And somewhere along the long winding road, find love.

If you’re true to love, it will show you Heaven,
Stay faithful to your dreams and go find your Garden of Eden.
Follow your heart and your basic instincts.
Then you will find love,
Then you will have truly lived.

She thought she was really hip

the beauty queen of the ship,

but she made my life hell

so she went over the rail

hope she likes a cool wet dip.

Bon Voyage, Joan

Bon Voyage, Joan

I wish you had a laptop
to take with you on your cruise.
So you could write and say to us
“Good Morning. How are yous?”

It was not very long ago
that we had never met.
But, quickly we have come to know
our friendship is a great asset.

Reciprocating a kindly word,
we introduced our pets.
To others that might seem absurd,
we have done so with no regrets.

Whether walking in the forest
or down those country roads
We know and love a fun brunette
although she chases toads.

(To keep her “Bear”
from eating them…
She does so with great care.
No frogs allowed; he is her gem.)

But you do not have a laptop,
to take with you on your cruise.
So go have fun, sing; dance ‘til you drop.
We shall wait to hear cruise news.

Bon Voyage'

Every decision made has a cause and effect
Gaining wisdom requires taking many missteps
In this unprovoked endeavor you are captain of ship
And abandoning your crew can cause faculties to flip
It hinders discernment making thoughts race to conclusion
Even knowing what was rendered must have been an illusion
Facts become fables as your vision becomes blurry
Friends & family become distant as you scoff on your journey
Leaving traces of brilliance in the errors of your ways
It leaves you broken down and beaten left with nothing to say
You can call it confusion or onset mental illness
But those who experience this know just what they're doing
Stepping over the edge is somewhat of a tragedy
As if life is some sitcom met with drama emphatically
It's such a shame to see great minds get destroyed
With so much sorrowful heartache what then to fill the void?....

Bon Voyage

Begin to dream
Begin to fly
It's cold out there
But don't be shy

Show me that face
Let's see that smile
Each new day's a test run
An experiment, a trial

There are those who know you
And ones who wish they could
But sometimes it gets tough
Please let me in?
I wish you would

Each day's an adventure
So let's tie our capes nice and tight
There's no turning back now!
With your hand in mine, this will be a nice flight.

Bon Voyage

You think you’re something’ special,
cause you’re Arizona bound!
You think we’re really gonna feel it,
when you’re no longer 'round!

You prob’ly think that we’ll feel sad,
and some of us will cry,
as we shake your hand or kiss you,
and exchange that last “good-bye!

You prob’ly think we wish you luck,
in everything you do!
That you will be successfull,
as you start your life anew.

You prob’ly feel we’ll miss you,
and be sorry that you’re gone.
That we prob’ly won’t forget you,
as time goes movin’ on!

No doubt you feel we like you,
and enjoy your wit and charm,
your pleasing personality,
your smile, so sweet and warm!

You're thinkin' we're all hoping,
you'll enjoy the sights you see.
That you won't get lost along the way,
and that your trip is trouble free.

Well if you think we think those thoughts,
and we sincerely hope you might,
then we really hate to say it,
but, by god, this time you're right!

So when you reach you're destination,
and while you bide your time,
freeloading at you daughters,
why not, drop us a line?

Bon Voyage Jack Sparrow

Swash buckling, quirky, crazy kinda guy
Scared you to death with one look from his eye
His reign has come to an end
JD’s spirit doth transcend
Winks mischievously as he waves goodbye

Bon Voyage In Your Life Journey Ahead

I, (though ye feel averse associating
with birth father) attest,
perhaps undeserving your vicariously quest
regaling, surmounting, and triumphing
storied Penn ultimate academic conquest

affirms his pride and joy at
stellar success no credit to this beastliest
inept papa, who winces with tragicomic,
woe how animosity toward me increased
smoldering rage at actual/
perceived paternal transgressions,

and do not expect to receive forgiveness
within your wounded breast,
but please allow this opportunity
to suspend any smarting rancorous
loathing, and bitterest
emotions that still sting from deep

seated psychological wounds
indelibly piercing chest
within eldest daughter,
whose unconditional boundless love
spurs whim to express
optimism at Edenic future blest

with praiseworthy largesse of commendable
laudatory, and noteworthy brainiest
accomplishments driven by ambition,
doggedness, perseverance, cleverest
ploy, plus revulsion emotionally costliest
psyche rent asunder courtesy yours truly,

he will not challenge, nor counterprotest
thee, asper his (i.e. mine) crassest
peccadillos, and significant damnedest
accursed personal weaknesses thee detest,
and unintentionally unpleasantly
impacted impressionable offspring, I dust

regret, and thus
figurative figleaf extended
without any expectations, though earnest
sincerity to accept culpability, asper
your anger, animosity, antipathy
maybe ranked as evilest

person on Earth, nonetheless,
and perhaps futile attempt feeblest
against affecting, sans fondest
best wishes despite scathing foulest
faux pas, I abhor lament ghastliest

inflicted upon an innocent progeny,
whose truevalue impossible grandest
to assess preciousness bestowed,
and wisdom proffered as biological guest,

now on her way to glory with handsomest
eminent beau linkedin heading toward happiest
days awaiting as ye embark
on destination unknown - honest!
