Premium Member Raising the Blinds

A morn's sun raised the blinds
As sunlight pinked the clouds
Its colors fell across
My lap, tinting my words
Sublime, pen and ink tried
To contain sentiment
As they spilled blue
The blinds dissipate
As words release truth
High the sun rises
Its light controls pen
Slower the pen
Then pauses, waits
As the day wears
Colors painted
Artist tool
A palette
As sun sets
Blinds close
Darkness
Shades

Inspired by a stanza written by Robert Frost:
The Death Of The Hired Man
"Part of a moon was falling down the west,
Dragging the whole sky with it to the hills.
Its light pored softly in her lap. She saw it
And spread her apron to it. She put out her hand"
Just part of it ...What struck me was "moon was falling down the west"

Premium Member The Blond's Blinds

In the shower one day was a blond
The door bell rang, she went to respond
     She shouted "who's there?"
"It's the blind man" he declares
"Hold on, I'll open the door to correspond"

Seconds later she opens the door
"Nice breasts" he says, as she looks to the floor
"Here are the blinds you requested
They have been hung and well tested
Have you ever had blinds here before?"

Closed Blinds

The window of opportunity; once seemingly limitless
Now appears to be gloomy and hopeless
The aspirations and dreams disguised as the truth..
Are these just lies that reside in his own mind?
No proof, no action..just an attempt to appease and distract him

The window of time; once an absolute eternity
Is now running out in quite a hurry
Pursuing dreams is similar to that of running on a treadmill;
At the highest speed; there will not be enough endurance to actually achieve
Yet, if too slow; no chance for progression, no chance to grow
However; with a perfect balance of: talent, aggression, and humility..
Add a bit of: water, composure, and consistency
And, of course, a sprinkle of belief..and there is the recipe to succeed

The window behind; once hardly noticeable..
Evidently someone or something opened the blinds
..perhaps it was just time
For the window behind; once hardly visible..
Now gives reason to be rejoiceful; for it seems to be the single window in which one is actually ahead of ones dreams

Between Venetian Blinds

Tuscany beckons
Wandering minds traveling
On the sun's last rays

The pale flesh glowing
Mother stirs from her closed bed
She slides to a stop

Where is she going?
When will the awaited day
Arrive for our sakes?

Letting go is real
Cry, celebrate, or wishing
Through it all we wait

Touched by the angels
Her heavy eyelids closing
Old thoughts will return

A warm offering
Quiescent reality
Numbing all to sleep

Brother's soft hair
Sobbing through the stagnant air
Breathing in deeply

Distant music plays
Chords of joy and pain wander
Forever reaching

Sister's loss held in
Bursting with the hope for death
Squeezing in the love

Past, present, future
Father's sad joy leaking out
Through Venetian blinds

There are no angels
Hovering where we can see
Belief quivering

God sends us no signs
Mortality challenges
At sunset right here

The Blinds and Pane

Through the dark still summer's night,
'bove waves of sea-green foam,
speeds a beam of dim moonlight
that's left its lunar home...
Easily it makes its way,
as nature was intending,
through Heaven's gate
its path is straight,
not circular or bending.
Between the stars, and fields of grain
it sets the world a glow,
as it slips between the blinds and pane
of a single house below...
It lands upon a snuggled pair,
for its path was true (and chosen).
A kiss they share, their bodies bare
they're lovers interwoven...

Basicaly It's the Truth That Blinds You

Is it the truth that blinds us
If They say God is Love then how can Love blind us
How can lies remind us> minus trust
It takes years to build it and only seconds to destroy it
And as I let ideas fall out into thoughts, that are like drops of rubbing alcohol across the countertop
There is a smell of a hospital that reminds me of newborn life and then death flashes and i lose my sight
Its untrue that the definition of the first person that hesitates here, really converts over and spills positive enrgy into the rest of his life
Cause its like you stall and the lightening strikes
The tree falls down and your a second behind it
The dark barks that it hates the light
The light shines and its basically the truth that blinds you
The brillance of the the giantest star draws you like a bug to the lighjt
you get suck in because its your time to die
You cant change it, its evrymans destiny,\
thats why you must be in the postion that god places you
Work on earth to be done and men are lazy, they dont even want to be a family provider
i seen this i didnt understand it was truly overwhelming
Its like i knew the veiw you see is a little different
you say hes just goin through hard times are you any better
I was like damn i help the man by leading him to water
And he was like id rather sleep than feed my daughter
Thats why mommy goes to work and on the face of the earth men are dying
Little boys are born to suffer this woe of society
Woman are supernatural acts of kindness
But you bring out the dormant side and the one who gave life becomes a destroyer
No matter woman or man God is my employer
I work for virtually nothing but to see a hurt soul rejoice and i smile in satisfaction
Im like the truth never blinded me it set me free from the darkest whitest lies
That are actually darker the this side of what you think is compatible
couples marry and then they hate each before the first chapter of the story
and unfaithfulness derives out of the unsatisfaction of dissatisifaction
Then the children suffer from the lack of harmony in a family inviroment
NoW truth come take the blinds off the mouth that sugarcoaTS THE DECEIVING TONGUES
OF THOSE WHO DONT LIKE YOU
THERE LIKE ITS OKAY TO SIN BUT DONT LET THEIR LIPS COAX NOR ENTICE
The zenith is exactly crossing the horizon
The lies blind and basically the Truth is silent

Behind the Blinds

Curtains or Venetian blinds,
Drapings, shutters, shades
Serve to keep our privacy
From peeping Tom parades.

Everybody loves a glimpse
Into another’s space,
Surreptitiously, of course,
And never face to face.

Which is why our views are blocked
With drapery or blind;
Thus it’s more enticing, wond’ring
Just what hides behind.

Often, though, we’ll get a peek
At furniture and shelves
And people who, ironically,
Live like we do ourselves.

Privilege Blinds

Privilege blinds
All the time we live
How does it affect our mind
All the time we live
What do we do right or wrong
All the the time we live
What do we offer to life
If life is to be a privilege
Why do we have the poor

Privilege blinds
I have been on this road
This road of life I live
As every new day
I see i lay a blessing
For when it dark
While am at sleep
What is around me is a lost
Yet not till morning
The time am a awake
Oh awake sweet awake
What a great privilege
A natural one

Privilege blinds
Abuse of nature
Is not forgotten
In our generation today
A system of trends
Trends of the fittest
The fittest are called the richest
The richest with their contacts
This is the modern so called
Privilege ones nowadays

Privilege blinds
Who is privilege let him see
Who is privilege and blind
Need a rewake
I had a great writer say
Privilege blinds
Yes but only the ignorant heart
privilege is natural
And it depend on one
To put it on it right part
Or let it put him blind

Closed Windows and Open Blinds

To get in...
you have to wear a hat
And remove the cat, fool!
Stuck inside the pool
All blue, but the crew wearing red
Guys at the back whispering
"Are they true"...?

Oh no its gonna be a jam sandwich again,
Why does the morning have to start this way?
Breakfast and reading Lame acts on news
papers Cause I'm to afraid to be casted to jail!
Infamous me: diabolical being,
Hated the role, called agents
to alter my path so I walk straight!

Closed windows but opened blinds
Revealing strange people holding signs-
Stating! "we are all the same-
No need to hide senior citizen"
Edward grabbed a boomerang
Knowing if he tossed it at their heads,
It will return to his right hand!
Even though he threw it with his left.

Say No! To Blinds, That Could Kill Up Too, One Child a Month

I am blind and the News
sometimes lights the way
I am small and blind but sometimes
i find that a little knowledge
is better than no acknowledgment at all
so in this knowing let my action say
thank you news HLN Morning Express
So i can look in and save my own from the blind within!

Open Windows and Closed Blinds

Ernie oh look his early,
I see him through the window!
And so many paths but one self;
to reach the top its a head-shot,
Come and see, hallows on the streets:
Ghosts need to "cross" over!
Whoa! Light so hard to find when you-
been living in the dark for centuries,
Mummies miss there living babies!
So they coming, soul crying...
Yeah... yeah... yeah...!

"But we not the bad guys
Just the opposite side fighting the war"
What ever that means,
Its a struggle to survive, yet we fight
"Fight for what we believe in"
What ever that means, bloodshed:
Weapons are sold and billions are made
Boom! lives lost: those are the building
blocks for the next phase,
from the foundation to the roof
its a design: So they hire architects and masons!
Whoa...

Grandfathers and grandmothers
Owning lodges...
To grand-masters, dwelling in lounge's
Opening blinds to see through windows To get in,
remove all head gear!
Mind cleansed and its vivid like
Those colours in the 5th dimension:
We all have angles and I'm drawing a circle,
Protection first and satisfaction last
Out the door...!
So I cover my head, eyes unfolded
As I walk in this straight path.

Love Blinds Truth

Glaciers float around obsidian pupils
In the crystal pools of my world.
I press against the razored quills
Of companions fates unfurled.

Vines of discredit wrap the columns
Of all the secrets suppressed.
Rooted in the depths of swollen gums
And branded against milky flesh.

Ripples waver over blind eyes
Glistening with sarcastic humor.
Never sees the failings, soon demise
Deaf to the undulating rumors.
