Best Belt Poems

The Belt of Sorrows

As I add another notch,
Into my belt of failures.
I did not gain the joy of my heart.

And if I had gained,
Your honest…true love.
I wouldn’t contemplate
Using that very belt
As a makeshift tourniquet,
Around my pleasant dreams.

Choking the flow of my tomorrows,
To ease the bleak pain,
…of not being with you.

Premium Member The Conveyor Belt

Sometimes I laugh other times I cry
As the Conveyor belt rolls on by

The poems that us poets write
Bright as day – dark as night

Trying hard to read them all
Sometimes I wish the belt would stall

As I read page after page
Full of love – Full of rage

It has became so clear to me
We are one big family

We share our love and our disgust
With open honest loving trust

We share our laughter and our tears
The beauty of youth and wisdom of years

From all walks of life and different creeds
We open our hearts and spread our seeds

This morning I’ve read about love so true
And why the streets gather crews

I read of how compassion should never die
And how nothing hurts worse than a lie

From good to bad and bottom to top
I’m an ex-con and he is a cop

But that’s all as irrelevant as it can be
For I am a poet and so is he

Premium Member Chastity Belt Bespoke Fitter

i am a ye olde chastity belt maker and fitter
Fitting is free
I love my occupation
As I hold the key
For an emergency

Their men want them fitting
While they are away at war
And my services are required
More and more
Something I adore.

The women beg me to set them free
And I give them what they need
For a fee.

So need a chastity belt?
Don't buy a cheap imitation from Hong Kong.
They have sharp edges and not that strong.

Just send me a E- arrow
And I'll be there quicker than a falcon after a sparrow.

This weeks special offer hurry!
Buy two get one free
I aim to please
If I still have the energy.

I'm very popular you know
So come on wenches and ye olde maidens
Give me a go How else you gonna know?.

Premium Member Chastity Belt Fitter Part 2

Good tidings young maidens it is me
The chastity belt bespoke fitter
To all princess and queen
I could tell many a tale about the things I've seen
But alas the crusades are over
No need for chastity belts no more
I did good business when the men were at war.

I'm having a closing down sale
Many bargains I've made
It's ok your secrets with me
I still fit free
With pride and dignity.

Of course I might have to make a mould with my hands
To make a correct fit
But I've had plenty of practice and been about a bit.

So come on you wenches and fair maidens
Come lay on my couch
And I'll soon get around to fitting you out
Because there's talk of another war
The men will be fighting again away

My sizes range from small to extra large
With no extra charge
Free can opener if you lose the key
And I'm readily available in an emergency
What ever that emergency maybe.

See me advertise in ye olde Cosmo magazine
With a picture of a massive one I fitted for the queen
I also sell armoured breast belts
With lock and key of course I'll have to measure
And mould your wares on display
I do that for fun you don't have to pay.

Ok Ladies I'll stay open and not close down
A new crusade has started and I'm the only man left around
Send me a E arrow or a talkagram
And I travel to please you from olde Nottingham town.

Any offers?.

Beyond the Asteroid Belt

From on top of a sharp hill
My feet have molded the dirt,
oh I am wandering still
How long does it take to fall again?
it's too late this time, I'm afraid,
The ship's already gone,
The fire from the engine is led,
The words for them never can be said,
Taunting images of the new that passed
are provoking these incredible feelings
to emerge and leave me speechless,
completely baffled.
Now I am outside of the blue Terra,
Moving with great speed but to no aim,
The ship has reached the belt
the asteroids are plenty, enough to alarm me,
So I kept silent, one more minute,
Now I exit the danger and face the miracle,
My heart is filled with confusion,
too many planets, to many choices,
But I know now, It took me just a second
to understand, to grasp the space,
and now I have the answer,
To Mars shall I go, if There I can fall again.

Orion's Belt

theres a belt in the sky, three stars wide
though the world is spinning it will never hide
its become my best friend, listens at night
when I stand alone and curse this fight
one star's for the hope that i've kept
'til each morning comes and puts me debt
with God.
second star's for all the love that we give
though it doesn't give back, it's enough to live
with God.
Third star's for the meaning of suffering,
though I dont understand, i know it's not nothing
..with God.

And this belt in the sky, three stars wide
Is my friend at night, when I sit and confide
In God.
Reminds me to hold on, though it's far out of reach..
And i dont have to see or feel to believe
In God.

Cause even the skies, like we do cry, tears of pouring rain
As if the universe relies on the presence of disdain
But I find comfort in knowing- these three stars together
will remain, like God, above me forever..

Premium Member A Yankee Cap and a Belt

Now picture this little scene if you can
On our wedding night, a little humour I had planned
Came into the room looking svelte
Wearing only a Yankee cap and a belt
Needless to say it broke the ice and the night turned out grand

Premium Member Grandads Leather Belt

My Grandad wore his leather belt with pride
Lions head buckle he'd polish till it shone
Always said I could have it when he died
His death came and then I felt so alone .

During the D. Day landings on sword beach
Fellow soldier hit in German air raid
A place of safety he just could not reach
But grandad saw him and went to his aid.

After the war he sent Grandad a box
Inside was a belt and note which read
A lions courage and strength of an ox
If you hadn't helped me I'd have been dead.

I look at his belt and courage I see
Feeling honoured that he left it to me.

Premium Member Middle-Belt Star In the Americas

A stop route of west African slave trade
passing through gradual conversion from an escape center
to a beautiful republic cemented in the ninety-sixties,
to pride as the first nation in the middle of the Americas
and to become an independent political and economic entity.

The first among the ‘warm-climated’ group
to participate in the ‘cold climated’ games.
It has grown wings to have so much political will
and becoming humanity’s chief servant in fighting for the globally marginalized.
So greatly influenced by the Afro-Caribbean spiritual salt,
giving value to the philosophy of international morality.

Beauty at its peak is flaunted through the Blue Mountains,
unfortunately in a land weak in the resistance
of nature’s dangerous waves of theft and anger.
Home to eight non-venomous snakes and great crimes;
obeahism lingering as the corridor to the inner mind;
are mixed segments of a growing star in the Caribbean
which is also the best place to see wild flora and fauna.

Premium Member Safety Belt

Mayday, mayday
My mind can't believe this was happening
I have no words to say
I heard something tail spinning and crashing
It was my debauched life
The sand in the hour glass was going way too fast
They both begin with s…stress and strife
I wish I could change the past
Trying to get off this freight train
Friends and enemies are lost in the speed
Slowing down, the only feat to be abstained
In this fast lane, on our cell phones that’s why no one pays heed
I have to slow down its going to take more than a second
And I hope that I make it because I don't care for competition
Sorry to say but there's no stop button
You'll never lose your way if you follow your intuition
If only I could just rewind
Forming an unbreakable cycle
Now I’m taking it one day at a time
So for this alluring ride, I need to buckle

Southern Cross, Orion's Belt, Scorpio

Many times I feel lost,
a future without a purpose
and an empty soul
The truth of my life has conformed me
to misery.

A sting in my heart,
the poison seeping into my soul.

I am dying slowly,
people glaring,
eyes burning,
opinions formed about me.
My mind racing,
thoughts screaming.
Stop staring holes into my skull!
Darkness flooding in.
I feel cold and empty

Then came a sudden bright light.
out of it came three images:
The Southern cross, Orion's belt and Scorpio.

With it came a voice.
I am the One that leads the way,
like the Southern cross in the night sky.

I Am the Truth.
Now look up and see Orion's belt.
Put on My belt of truth
and I will become your Truth
and you will receive My Joy.

Again, look up and see Scorpio.
I Am your Protector.
rejoice in Me and feel safe.
Like a scorpion attacks its prey,
I will smite your enemies with My wrath.

I Am the Way and the Truth
and in Me you now have life.

Black Belt - Red Robe

My vapor trail
Spreads out across your vision
The fastest man alive
I live by the sword
And you came equipped
With all the right potions
All the right techniques
My heart screams bloody murder
Redrum
I bleed out emptiness
And feed on a small sun
To rise again
Blistering the country side
With the fury of your failures

Tighten That Belt

Illness,
Diagnosis,
Rush to emergency,
Prep the patient for surgery,
Cut back.
