Premium Member Six Slopes

The six steep slopes they gave me..
yes, all were mine.

I can give them to you..
if you wish them.

Though they tend to be.,
unkind.

Don't wait for them to love,
or understand,
or forgive..

It's not their way.

They serve only to light a path,
show you the way.

Discover who you are, yes,
and where you come from.

It's what you always asked,
and all you ever prayed.

Don't look too far forward,
they'll make sure you're blind..

Understand that you are all that matters
not them, not us, not time.

Premium Member Through The Echoes Of All Time

Travel with me and enter
into the flower carpeted mountain meadows
of my youth;
Lose yourself in the wild beauty which resides within
God's tinted skies of yellow and vermouth.
Vested memories held captive by eidetic moments,
"Oh blessed beating heart, "
enter the flowered thoughts of a poet's nest, delve into the
sanctuary of God's Grace,
for it is here that you belong.
Seen through the eyes, felt with the heart
ensconced with a soul your free to roam,
inside roads less traveled, where timeless voices
are heard, through the echoes of all time.

You belong to the One who has given you,
both shape and creed.

All Time Low

There's more than one Alex at an all time low
Trying to stay up because I know some people want to see me fall like snow
But then depression kicks in and it's off the walls I go
I hope you understand when I say there's more than one Alex at an all time low

Trapped inside these 4 walls as my music blares
The volume turned up so the outside world can't hear the abuse in here
Depression beating me, but the lyrics to the songs remove my fears
I got caught in a daydream so now depression wants to prove my nightmares

When it comes to my mistakes I've always been forthcoming
But depression still wants to ridicule me for my shortcomings
Depression doesn't want me to live them down
Constantly reminding me of the princess I was dating that I didn't crown

"You can't handle a goldfish, but now you want to bait a Piranha"
"you had your heartbroken by a regular girl, but now you want a date with Rihanna"
I reply I'm strong enough to face my karma
I'm just trying to think good thoughts to erase the drama

I would have took a bullet for her, but I didn't realise she'd be holding the gun, now it's poor me I'm shot
I can't deal with this sober, someone tell the bartender to pour me a shot
The more that I learn about love, the more that I'm shocked
My love for you is dead, I'm putting everything of yours in a box

I feel like screaming, but I don't want anyone to hear all the noise
Depression has me at an all time low saying soon we'll really fall out boy
I've been lost for a while, now I'm trying to find somewhere to call my home
Now you know my battle, you'll understand why Alex Gaskarth isn't the only Alex at an all time low

Muses are seen as a source of inspiration for writers of poetry. They guide the poet and form his or her words. Often seen as mediators between the spiritual and sensual aspects of poetry.
***
Place me on a pedestal and take me to the stars
enrich me with linguistic words of honey sweet
Fly me to the moon on wings of butterflies
dear muse, let your pearls resound inside this golden cornet
conduct in me a symphony with all the colors of the wind
inside this poignant writer's heart, there will always be a place
for you
So let us ruminate, reflect and contemplate together,
you and I side by side
floating high above the sky.
Climb the ladder of success with me, take me to Venus
so I can dance with the sun and cha cha with the moon
fly like a water ouzel and swim like a Mermaid
you and I side by side
for all time...

Friends For All Time

For Carolyn D

A friend
For you I am
Like a closest member
Of the family, as you are
To me.

With that
When you're hurt
I feel the pain enter
But left with no way to make things
Better.

Helpless
Is what I feel
No matter what I say
meaningless words, bring no change, and
I pray.

That God
Shows you the way
To a beautiful place
In the sun, and where within, peace
Will reign.

Top 100 Poets - All-Time Most Popular

Do i have to first change my name to
Poet Destroyer to top the list,
Or add my all three names like
Carol Sunshine Brown to come second?
Is it wearing sun glasses like Andrea Dietrich
In my profile picture that mandates me,
Or welcoming Soup freshers like SKAT-LOVE does
To be in the top four?

What does it really take?

Is it all about the P enclosed in the yellow star
Like the top threee?
Really?
What about suZ-D who is number 98 with that gold P,
Did she not harmonize her name like
Charmaine Chircop who is on 20

What does it really take?

Should i say its all about being a lady
To be in the top nine?
Or else its because in poetry men come number ten?
If so
Thanks to Vince Suzadail Jr. who made it there
And our own hero Becca Lucas who sealed the 100

Does it really take that?

Should i say its all about the profile picture?
Then i would have an answer for sharon weimer
who came on number 11
Would Carolyn Devonshire say i am right on that?
I dont think so not our number five

Then what is it all about?

Should i say its all about the US flag?
If so then thats why Linda-Marie SweetHeart came on number 6
But what about Robert A. Dufresne who is below
Vicky Tsiluma a Kenyan?
On that One has P and the other lacks a photo
I got it the former has no photo

So am i right then?

That to be on this list you must not be from Africa?
No at last i disagree with my view
Because Wilma Neels is on number 38
And…99 Adeleke Adeite
At least that's kind of fair
To Africa

So do i have the answer i wanted?

No. Nott until i went back to my poems
And made a great discovery
These are the same people
Who put ink on my poems
These are the people i read their poems
And i curse my mother for feeding me
With pumpkins

These are the poets we all treasure
The famous 100
who deserve to be on the wall of fame
Even now i guess they are the people
That will drop comments on This
As others read, get bored and walk a way cursing my master piece
Not caring about Killing my dreams of becoming 101
I think that's why my all links have that number
101 love poems from Rodgers Roger
Yet i posted an elegy

These are the book worms
That know punctuation better
And can determine a right type of their poem
These are the ones who never post stuff like
,./;'' am trying ';./=/

For All Time

Feel your heart pounding inside your chest,
Enjoy all of your life for it is the best.
Hold tightly to the one that excites you,
Show the love inside you is what you must do.
Remember to hug with all of your might ,
As you lay yourselves down at night.
Spend every moment you have making memories,
Of the love you shared for all to see.
Build your foundation with trust and faith,
Or you'll be all alone and this will be your fate.
The hopes and dreams you both have ,
Will be wonderful and you'll never be sad.
Find the path you walk with your heart,
Things in life will go smoothly from the start.
Do these things and you just might find,
That your love will last for all of time.

For last fifty years.
Sad pillows still surround me
Moans are dragging me.

For last fifty years.
Heart is unable to see
the dark span thrilled me

For last fifty years.
I run around the time's dust
and the whirlwind falls.

For last fifty years.
I'm looking for My Nineties
Calm and loving beam.

For last fifty years.
Want to remain unloaded.
No one crossed but me.

For last fifty years.
doom angels did not appear
for life-changing hug.

For last fifty years.
Some subterfuge was muttered.
Step aimed for repent

For last fifty years.
hunt for a watering pot
Rain for Aaron's rod

For last fifty years.
And I'm relying on you
sky's tears have fallen.

For last fifty years.
The eyes decipher birth signs
on heat and pain shores.

For last fifty years.
sins tighten the grip of grief
hope and goodness fade

For last fifty years.
The metal scream may be heard.
metal beat yields steel.

Premium Member My All Time Top Ten Bloopers

I went to the store with a list on which my
wife had numbered 10 items. I bought
1 loaf of bread, 2 quarts of milk, 3 dozen eggs,
4....!!!!! (number 10 was a 10 lb bag of flour)

I tried to return a “free gift” once.

I bought one “forever stamp”, thinking
that was the only one I would ever need.

I asked once, if they had white wine at communion.

I carried a box of granola bars to work once when
on a diet. I ate 12 bars before lunch and never
lost an ounce.

I believed my doctor, when he said, “Charlie, I
don’t think it would hurt to check your prostate.”
Meaning that it would be a good idea. But he
was right. It didn’t hurt—after I passed out.

Once I didn’t pay attention to where I squatted in a
Cyprus knee swamp.

I tried to take a trigger fish off my hook by putting my
thumb in it’s mouth like a bass. He ate it like it was a bass.

I asked my wife to go on birth control. She had triplets.
She blamed it on me. Heck if It hadn’t been for me she
might have had a litter.

When I first got my cat I let it lick me on the face.
Then one day I saw what it licked when I wasn’t around.

Premium Member All Time Stood Still

All time stood still; he fell through air,
faces below, look up, and stare.
Each always a stranger to be.
While he ponders what they do see,
he's inclined to think they don't care.

Friends, family, thought he'd not dare,
now, as the wind brushes his hair
he feels at last totally free;
all time stood still.

Was anyone ever aware
the utter depth of his despair?
Everyone thought him fancy-free.
He's only just turned twenty-three
he reflected, mid-flight-mid-air.
All time stood still.

Rambling In Rhyme For All Time

Crawling to each nanosecond
A descent calling to teach me
Another Plato lesson
Lessening the agony as for
Before what was aforementioned
Fragments of talents calcified
And classified as otherworldly
Unbelievable and that which walks
With Giants along the wastelands
Unwelcomed......

Once Touched All Time Stands Still

Death again, the glorious symphony
mortal man has found his destiny
Once touched all time stands still
darkest hand exists only to kill

Spring, the time of earth's seeds
man rots helplessly in his needs
A few souls live in blessed relief
resting within their holy belief

Summer, life races into high gear
Sun shines, man has very little fear
His life is like a smoothed stone
Harshness seen only after he is gone

Fall, seeds planted for fair or ill
man still imposing his evil will
The stone moans with its new cracks
coldness coming with its attacks

Winter, the season so damn unfair
darkness coming fast from everywhere
Death trumpets its arrival with cold
man meets Fate, be he young or old

Death again, the glorious symphony
mortal man has found his destiny
Once touched all time stands still
darkest hand exists only to kill

Robert J. Lindley, 04-25-2015

Note: The Hand of Fate and the dark Hand of Death both
travel with man as deliverer of fruits from his bitter harvest.

Beauty of All Time

smile in a picture
hidden words when snapped there in
                                             beauty of all time

Nevermind the Poet's Mind I Love Him For All Time

Such beauty I find in you, him
It has always been this way

Angel's whisking whisper

It's me again, it's me again
How stubborn he was

I found my heart trying to convince him
the truth of a man's depth of love

It is me here,
you there

I love you more today
less than before
because there is tomorrow
