Premium Member Goodbye Darling Peter Pan

Dearest Child-Adventuring Man, My Darling Peter Pan:

Since that never to be forgotten day when Wendy first brought
you my way, my heart has been enchanted thru and true with
love for you. You are as magical as your happy-thought dust
that brought me flight thru star-glimmer skies, shimmering great
joy from my soul-core straight to my eyes. With you, I have felt
amazing fantasy as enthralling reality because of the wonder that
is you and your purview.

I love Neverland, Tinker Bell, the boys and the countless joys that
made up the minutes of each day we shared. Though nothing in my
future will ever compare, I can no longer deny that I am compelled
to step into adulthood, that such is what I should do, what I am
meant to do, and must do without you. In your world, I will always
be your girl, but in the traditional world, I must let my woman
unfurl. What is calling me onward and forward is all that you
would never walk toward and risk dying adult-bored.

Turn any woe into a splendid crow of much ado, repeat until woe
has winded you, then smile to know -

~ I shall always gratefully and lovingly remember you ~

Premium Member Its Not Just a Pen

A pen is more than just a pen;
more than just a recording device.
When I pick up a pen
I take a journey
to another realm
and to many realms,
I’ve been.

I have many pens,
I collect them;
pens for writing
pens for drawing
pens for hole punching
and pens for adventuring.

Today, I am penning poetry;
tomorrow I will give
personality to my eggs
with a felt-tip pen
that I use for sketching.

Whenever I pick up a pen
I wield a magical wand;
I can conjure dragons
or chimera and
about them,
write a poem or song.

I can wield a magic sword
to slay the creatures
that I create;
such as monsters,
trolls or wyverns
and I succeed
every time.

I can create words and art
to make you sad or glad;
to make you smile or laugh
 ‘tho you find that
you’ve been had!
My cat loves pens too,
it’s why mine may disappear
and not be seen for months on end
if my cat, they’re near.

So, you see a pen’s not
just a pen; it’s a part of me.
I’d hate to be without one;
I probably couldn’t think!

Only a Moment

The whole of a journey still to be traveled
is much like a novel begun
with threads of the story not yet unraveled
and windings of plot to be spun.
We’ve myriad paths to meander, assess.
The hours are long till midnight’s chime.
It seems like eternity, nevertheless,
‘tis only a twinkling in time.

The wise old mysterious owl, unsurpassed
at vigilance during the dark,
in the lore of the past could events forecast,
though lacking the song of the lark.
Still future tomorrows are anyone’s guess
when we’re in existence’s prime.
It seems like eternity, nevertheless,
‘tis only a twinkling in time.

Our lives stretch before us as endless array,
neath skies bright with starry wishes,
of vast possibilities all on display
or feast of enticing dishes.
To life’s great adventuring we acquiesce.
We’ve many a mountain to climb.
It seems like eternity, nevertheless,
‘tis only a twinkling in time.

The universe also has spans of ascent
(or multiverse, as some prefer,
having ‘bubbles’ in space of dimensions bent
with heavens discretely astir),
together with cycles of cosmic regress,
midst empyrean spheres sublime.
It seems like eternity, nevertheless,
‘tis only a moment in time.

On this earthly stage where we mortals play out
our shenanigans, seldom wise,
getting backed into corners with no way out,
till at last we open our eyes,
let’s endeavor our noblest selves to express
ere we bow out of pantomime,
for while seeming eternal, nevertheless,
‘tis only a moment in time…

This Is Me and My Life

They said it’s time I settle down
If I can’t find a man of my own
They will be pleased to help me with that
They’re going to find me my man

They’re talking about me
As if they’re advertising me publicly
Like I’m up for sale
Ready to be picked off the dusty shelf

Wow
Do I not have my rights anymore
What is life without your own rights
Is life only complete when sharing with someone

But what’s wrong with my free spirited life
I’m happy
I’m enjoying life freely and joyously
I’m please to say my freedom is my happiness

This is me my body and my life
I hold the wheel but trust God to guide me
My life isn’t perfect but I am living in the moment
My freedom let’s me do as I please

So put a stop to make me your business
I maybe journeying alone but never lonely
Who said happiness is only when coupling
Happiness is your free will and to know God

It’s unbeknownst when
It’s unbeknownst whom
My heart be captured by IF EVER
But I’m not dying to get there to find out

I’m exploring life in my fearless freedom
Because the possibilities are unbounded
This world is full of life and adventure
I am a free soul seeker with a passion to experiencing my true self life

 And with that said
This is me and my life
I make my decision choosing my path
And until then I’m driving solo singing loudly

Premium Member Vision of a Space Explorer

I pressed my face against the thick pane of glass
And stared out into the black of nearest space
Where my planet-home Earth hung suspended
Like a special well-worn ornament on a spruce tree
Decorated with multi-colored bulbs and angel hair
Earth swirling inside webs of gray cloud shrouding
So peacefully, it appeared, she drifted silent there
While I saw visions of peoples struggling to be free
Knowing on us so much of their future depended
Adventuring to the unknown, and finding a place
Where Earth’s inhabitants might egress en masse.

-passion- Part1

Black silky curtains hang down,
stopping short of 3 inches long,
messy, good scented hair,
partly covering two beautiful hazel orbs,
dancing with the joy and suns light,
endless staring, tender loving eyes,
placed gently in a smooth light-mocha creame complexion,
centered by a small, cute, baby-like nose,
and large, scrumptious, peach-colored lips,
little black scruffel of a beard, lightly pull forward for a kiss,

broad shoulders, slightly tence from stress,
muscular arms, wrap tightly around vanilla skin,
tone even chest, bicepts strong build,
warm and smooth, fingers carress,

                ---distracted . . . . [my appologies]

twilight setting, golden light against blending skin,
blue-green-hazel eyes devouring the view,
tounge run across, a bottom pink pursed lip,
swallow quivering, breath, adventuring mind,
colored cloths slide off satin, falling evermore,
crumpeled slowly on the wooden floor,
piles sitting surrounding bare feet,

fingers searching, lips connecting, tounges tying,
skin searing, eyes falling, breathing halting,
heartbeat speeding, time receading, passion sweating,
open eyes, whisper only truths, nevermore lies,

callosed fingers, gentle in their open palmed feeling,
cupping firm, sensitive breasts, so appealing,
lips speaking, kissing revealing feelings, stealing pain,
from their growing swollen-ness,
lips softly, leading trails down belly skin,
teeth gently pulling on the skin of belly button,
trailing down, fingers slide around smooth cheeks,
bringing lips back to lips, nervous about going down,

My Soulmate Is a Pilgrim, Mercury In Retrograde

My soulmate is a pilgrim,
He explores the zodiac’s constellations
Not always in our own Milky Way, he treks
His journeys enlighten mankind
Because he aims his bow hunting faith in Sagittarius
And swims with emotional artistry in Pisces
He judges mankind with Libran scales
As he admires beauty while visitingTaurus
By Capricorn he calculates the distances to travel
With Gemini he knows about all the heavens
In Aquarius he will always be courageous and cool
While adventuring The Scorpio Moon, my soulmate tells no secrets
Because he is a man of Aries who has great self worth
His mother The Virgin he humbly thanks
The Cancer crab brings him home again
He enters Earth as Leo the lion
That time occurred when Regulus in retrograde circled Jupiter
Then, Jupiter conjoined Venus
Making it event the brightest lights in all heaven
So the Maggi would find the divine child
My soulmate is that deity
He rides on the tail of the comets.
One day he will come again
He promised
And he, my friend, does not lie.

The Road Trip

For Naomi, life was beginning to get exciting in the fall of 1952...
At the age of 25 , a widow and the mother of two.

So you pack up your 1949 Dodge and off to Alaska you go...
Free land awaits those brave souls who will show.

Interstates had not been created back in that day...
And there were no motels at which to stay.

With five hundred dollars cash and two boys to raise...
Every mile became an adventure with praise.

Sometimes sleeping in the Dodge and drinking from a stream...
A young widow and her sons living the early American dream.

The Mississippi and the Missouri they crossed them too..
And the majesty of the Rockies they all three knew.

They made it to Spokane from Pennsylvania and that's as far
as they could go...
But the deep adventure they had only they could know.

Naomi is in her eighties now and doing well...
And the adventures she has had she loves to tell.

God has smiled upon her and given her a wonderful life...
She's been a daughter, a sister, a great-grandmother and an
adventuring wife.

In the fall of ' 52 America was different than it is now...
And she and her two boys can now reflect on the how.

From Pennsylvania to Washington, the goal was so close...
But a life time of adventure she had traveling from coast to coast.

The Alaskan dream still burns in her heart...
If she just could come up with five hundred dollars, she's
ready to depart.

The Dive

Experiment, the worth of kings,
no bonafide adventuring
not impinge, glory, noticing,
the trial of "over" ~ SING, BUT SING!

And over, 'til the mode be right,
that last decision, still up tight.
I've felt it oft, all nerves on edge,
have gone too far, my reasons dredge!

It is Inventing, cant resign,
the pulse of difference is my rhyme,
I'll just dive in, for one more time,
then still dig in, this idea's mine!

What closer skill can Man divine,
than right to change, with purpose fine,
not to relinquish my own kind
but build with vision, some new find!

To heal some soul . . . . from mortal bind!

Working with Inventors from the Midwest, some Immigrants, some of the ideas we saw become developed were ~ The radial tire, the round swing, round hay bale,
vise-grip, portable phone, highway breakers, tarps for Semis, ethanol plants, water cleaning equipment, faux diamonds, negative ion air machines, compost ideas, turn signals for autos. We worked on Patents in Omaha, Nebraska ~ Inventors from Denmark, etc. Ideas built America, Corporations like Sears Roebuck, helped the little guy. Let's get America back to those "ideals!"

Premium Member My Sundress Memories

My sundress hangs there limply,
needing me to fill it out.
The rains have been relentless
putting all sunshine to rout.
The ides of March have come and gone
without a sign of spring.
My raincoat and umbrella are
each such a ragged thing.
It’s now Easter vacation and
I’m yearning for some fun.
Today the rains have halted
and we have a bit of sun.
Excitedly I pull my sundress out
and down over my head.
“You must be careful you don’t burn,
is all my mom has said.
The other kids have come for me.
We head out for the day.
After downing the car's soft roof
we’re on our merry way.
Adventuring on the seaside,
water is too cold to swim.
The sandy beach is warming and
we are all young and trim.
In my canary yellow sundress,
I’m feeling very pretty.
To cover with unneeded wrap
would truly be a pity.
We romp and play like small children,
the whole of the spring day.
When evening breezes cool the air
we can no longer stay.
When Mother meets me at the door,
look on her face is stern.
“Why is it you won’t listen?
I told you, you would burn.”
My face and shoulders, arms and legs
are just as red as fire.
I meekly bare my shoulders
for the lotions they require.
I hope I’ve learned my lesson
as the pain is quite severe,
but my sundress will be calling
on first spring day, come next year.

The Sad Storyteller

Boys and girls, listen well,
For I have a tale to tell.
Wait, why are you leaving?
I promise you this won't be boring!
It's about unicorns and dragons fighting!

Oh good, I finally got your attention,
Come, sit down and listen.
Come on, I'm starting the story,
If you miss it you're gonna be sorry.

The title of my tale's 'The man in the pond',
Wait, don't go just yet, I promise there'll be unicorns.

Once upon a time there was a traveller,
Everybody calls him Sam the Adventurer.
Once, when Sam was adventuring on a bright morn,
He tripped and fell into a pond.

The pond was not very steep,
But Sam was scared, as he was hydrophobic,
He started to scream and shout,
But nobody was about.

Just when he's about to die,
Suddenly appeared a random guy.
Sam shouted, 'Help me, please! I don't want to die!'
The guy protested, 'But I'm just a random guy passing by!'
With that, and a 'Good bye',
The guy left, leaving Sam to die.

Sam thought for sure he's dead,
When out of nowhere appeared a maid.
Sam shouted to her, 'Please save my life!'
The maid replied, 'Sorry! I need to buy some cake for my master's wife!
And then she hurried away,
Leaving Sam in the pond to stay.

For the third time Sam said his prayers,
When suddenly walked by the mayor.
The mayor saw Sam in the pond,
But before Sam could utter a word he was gone.

And then Sam lost faith in humanity,
He started crying bitterly.
For the first time he realized that the water isn't deep,
In fact, it's not even steep.
So he stood up and got out of the water,
And he had hydrophobia no longer.

From then on Sam's been a hermit,
Visits from no one did he permit.
He had learn his lesson through his adventure,
That man has a very selfish nature.

Well, my dear friends,
My tale's about to end.
What are you saying, unicorns?
Nonsense! Why are you looking so forlorn?
That was a great tale, was it not?

And from that day on,
The storyteller begin to sell corn.
He no longer tell stories, as no one will listen,
They claimed he lied, about the dragons.
So here's the pitiful tale of a once renown storyteller,
Who's now nothing but a sad corn seller.

Premium Member Adventure In the Outdoors

Paddling, struggling, striving,
We're canoeing and living.
Camping, hiking, sleeping,
We'll be journeying and dreaming.
Eating, singing, lifting,
We are having an adventuring.
Paddling, leaving, packing,
We're going and floating.
Arriving, accomplishing, celebrating,
We'll be returning, our homecoming.
Remembering, wishing, thinking,
We will be having passing memories.

Premium Member Halloween Fear

It was getting dark and tension is rising
pumpkins alight with eerie smiles gaping.
Flames of orange and red flickering dancing
children ready to go trick or treating.

Shadows that take on new sinister meaning
depicting a witch on her broom flying.
Cauldrons full of evil brew bubbling
eyeballs in green purple slime floating.

The woods full of weird voices screaming
not a night to be alone out adventuring.
Fear is rife and danger is us menacing
according to legend souls ripe for taking.

Yet; hush, what is it that is happening?
making our blood curdle, leaving one trembling?
The simple answer is imagination and nothing
But each year the rumours continue growing.

Fed by stories and tales of horror never ending
some maybe based in fact most leave one searching.
This time next year again we will be quivering
victims of fear unseen from which we run panicing.

Tell Me Your Story

Adventuring through the unknown world,
Beside you is where I was.
Climbing up the towering mountain peaks,
Desired to reach the top.
Emptying out my doubts and sorrows,
Falling through the sky.
Gradually building my strengths and hopes,
Hoping to never drop.

Icebergs and mountains stopped me in my paths,
Jungles and lions too.
Kings and queens from all around the land,
Loyal and fair they were.
Many adventures and fun did I have,
No doubts to be there.
Orchestras of birds and chirpy insects,
Pollute the fresh. fresh air.

Queen bees attack the bright-coloured flowers,
Robbing the pollen away,
Scorpions may have stung, but I didn't feel,
Tell me, you were there.
Umbrellas may have protected my soul,
Venturing far and wide.
With or without my trusty supplies,
Xylophones of joy were here.

You and I, in boats we sailed far and wide,
Zebras wouldn't be any different.

Old Age Nonet

Fatigueability,a wrinkled mass
Or a time for exploration
Learning, adventuring so
One discovers truth
Existential strength
Pouring in bulk –
Masses come
