Premium Member A Dream

Let there be no hidden or disguised facades
Let there be achievable dreams; not hopeless mirages
Let there be no sorry but sunny days of happy faces
Let there be no hatred and separation between the races
Let there be an abundance of bright lights and starry starry nights

Let there be a fully promoted and always protected Bill of Rights
Let there not be assaults of, but encouragement of Free Enterprise
Let there be more Term Limits of politicians and less special privileges
Let there be the exaltation of the individual
Let there be the expansion of Entrepreneurship
Let there be no loss but multiplied gains of greatness

May politicians always be servants of, and not superior to the people
May I not be afraid of 'my government', but may it be 'afraid of me'
May the constitution be upheld, and all religions free to teach and tell
May justice be freely served and never a mortal abused or unnerved
May the Bible not be seen as a threat, but a friendly guide to paradise
May every American be filled with hope, and duly take note;
America's future and hope lie far above and beyond the vote

Premium Member A World Without War

Peace and unity sing in harmony, echoing worldwide,
When acts of humility replace revenge-infused pride,
When narrowness of mind, naked ambitions subside,
When nations of goodwill, stand together side-by-side.

No inconsolable tears, flooding grief in mothers’ eyes,
No gloomy dawns rise, in smoke of war on sunny skies,
Clamors of hungry, displaced souls, no longer agonize;
No more shattered dreams, buried alive, to eulogize.

Nothingness ceases to vacate sanctity of self-esteem,
Children now rejoice, reminiscing in Cinderella-dream,
Vying bliss of tranquil, endearments of amity redeem,
Discarding ill will, shrieking from yore of vicious regime.

Hiroshima, Nagasaki—echoes of sad, remorseful past,
Resonate horror and shock, from memories aghast;
A world without war, a wish too far, yet close to heart,
Achievable when covenants of life don’t keep us apart.

Dignity of humanity ranks supreme, as priorities change,
Nations engage in educational and cultural exchange,
Farms and factories hum, ensuring hunger is eliminated
As peace and unity toll, from hearts and minds elated.

Premium Member Happily discontent, that I am, that I be

Happily discontent, that I am, that I be

now future
happy discontent
achievable out of reach
joie de vivre bags of regrets
what I am now what I could be
love the journey are we there yet?
live in the present dream of becoming
I'm truly self made I'm reactionary, dependent
let it be, let it be, now endless mindful reflection
I’m restless, but at peace unable to sleep, daydream
I’m thankful for many things when will this nightmare end?
nothing is perfect, fully satisfies quest for perfection ruins the journey
life is an ever evolving process hit or miss, sink or swim, stuns growth
a chest full of good things in life a pile of things underachieved, undone
thankful for what I’ve got so far I want more, but I'm burdened by failures
acceptance without complacency resentful, jealous of what others have
accept that creativity makes mistakes counting failures, clutters & confounds

The Peak

The Peak
Nothing easy in life to achieve
But only failure is achievable stress less
The road to success is full of obstreperous
I latter discovered that
End of a war is the beginning of another
No matter how the hindrance
Termites built their house
No matter how obstacles
 They keep destroying their target
As tall a tree may
Squirrel pursuit until it reaches the top
Continue doing your worth
Thee will reach the peak
For thee to get thy want
You must be confident
Shakespeare has became a mirror
Wole Soyinka symbolize Africa
They both encounter challenge
They keep pursuing
Till their names are shining like a daily sun
and like a rounded moon

I met you several years ago
When I was very overweight
I wasn’t very confident
But meeting you was fate.

I didn’t really think that I
Could have any success
My personal life was horrible
I felt like such a mess.

You were very encouraging
You told me I should try
To set some small achievable goals
I had to walk before I could fly.

I kept coming to your meetings
Even when I felt bad
That I’d binged out of control
And didn’t use the tools I had.

Eventually I began to do the work
And the pounds started going away.
I also got rid of a bad situation.
Things were getting better, hooray!

Now I’m at a size I want to be
I truly am successful
I rarely turn to my binge eating
When my life is getting stressful.

I don’t know where I’d be
Without you on my side
I wouldn’t be able to look in the mirror
And feel such wonderful pride.

My Story To Tell

"To love is nothing. To be loved is something.
But to love and be loved, that’s everything."

When you are in warm handshake with love
All you ever imagine is to fly up high like the dove
You never cease soaring in aptitude to dissolute
Your thirst to drink more from love’s well is absolute

By devotion of countless emotions
The extent you hope to sail is beyond oceans
Nothing seems impossible
And by counts, every dream achievable

My story to tell is like most few ever told
It began on one late night, a walk alone in the cold
From afar beneath the cloak of total darkness
From henceforth arose my redemption from coyness

A portrait work of God’s intellect and perfection
Her appearance flaunts in blissful ignition
Nature’s gift hardly to reject
And by acceptance, patiently unwrap and inspect

Elizabeth by name, in her prime of life
Swore I to champion her test, master in all strife
Failing is an option potion to auction for glory
In such stature of her nature, I offer my best act honorary

Seasons washed ashore, the bonding mightier
The relationship happier and healthier
My queen no longer was one but two
By an act profound, her being two only takes two

A charming prince forth joins the family
Merrily and happily, the family chants joy so lively
Having my queen trust and love
Seeing my prince smile out of love

My greatest joy definable by no records
Descriptive by means of no words

under the soles of everyone's feet
                              silently surviving
                              thriving living forms amidst darkness
                              viewed as irrelevant
                              by glorified human cerebellum's ambitions
                              so apparently abhorring
frigid to the gentler and wisest enlightened
                              essences below ground cognizant

why bother with others' needs not part of
                              man's lust unrelenting?
                              conquerors eroding all pristine abodes
                              of the Earth's abused beings
eager to wear crowns over rotting skulls
                              perverted in many ways unending
                              hoarder of stolen blood-stained jewels
the final nails to their aging bloated coffins

goal to metamorphose as kind creatures
                              a daunting task achievable
the malleability of human perception seem
obvious given the right path taken
we are invisible in the realm of the cosmos

in desperate times, love bestows a solution
a ray of hope guiding souls to a safer haven

Premium Member A Fisherman's Wish

In an isolated island where most people are fishermen, life was so hard. One morning near the shore, a genie from a floating lamp appeared before a hundred fishermen and asked each one of them for a wish. Everyone got his chance and had his wish. Ninety-nine fishermen asked for money, clothes, boats, houses, jewelries and other material things. For the one hundredth and last fisherman, he only asked for a tree -- a coconut tree.

Floating lamp, above the surface waves
Fishermen grump, under the water paves
Impossible dreams, in any way unreachable
Imagination streams, in every way achievable.

Premium Member For What Is Power

FOR WHAT IS POWER

For what is power?

A dream, a vision, a destiny?

All un-achievable because….

Because we accept the definition handed down by those in power.
Power is strength. Strength is power.

Rosa Parks had strength, she exhibited power,
not in muscle or machismo but in her presence, in her tenacity,
in her steadfastness. Rosa Parks was empowered
by her strength - to act.

Ghandi had strength, cloth wrapped, sinewy strength.
He exhibited power, in his defiance, his belief.
He shed blood, his own, while refusing to strike back
at those who struck him but at the laws and mores that
permitted such actions. He was empowered
by his strength – to act.

They did not wait to become empowered,
did not seek validation of their strength,
became the empowering strength for others.

Martin Luther King was not empowered by his dream,
he drew his strength from it,
used that strength to empower others
to find their strength, to stand, to march,
to defy, to unify – to act.

And what of us? Will we acknowledge our strength?
Will we use that strength to empower others
to find their strength? Or will we deny that strength
and hope to find empowerment elsewhere.

Humans With Out Humanity

Humans without humanity
So many time I wonder
What it takes to be human

So many times I wish
Humans are more human

So many inspiration
Pure throw the fall of the ink
From my pen
Just to try revive humans
Again to be human

So many places I have been
Traveling is a great education
As I still see humans yet from
Being human

What is the use of humans
When we are not human

I guess may be till
Thy kingdom come
We still cant see beyond
What we know to be human
Again

Is good to be human
I never say so but
Nature did
Am only a soul like every one
As I ask till when
Can humans of now
Be human again ???????
is clear if human are few
So humanity is so far yet
To come achievable

On television movie "Dirty Dancing" again
To tell honest truth I felt warm after glow
This looked like a fun thing to do from where I stood
I thought and on my "Bucket List" it will go

But when I moved from my sitting stance_no_no way
Even though this "Dirty Dancing" fanned my flame
At my age just don't have youthful energy left
I will just have to pen a "Bucket List" by name

A very long list of fun things before life's end
Seek map and then go down a never travelled road
Go on a surrey ride to hear the horses' hoofs
Would that my love and I for horse not be heavy

In a hot air balloon basket flow on warm air
Only so many years_go to states not been in
No longer sit at home breath very deeply sigh
I'll be able to tell generations where been

No longer sit home and watch each and every leaf
My life wil move now as if it was set on fire
Skateboarding looks like so much fun_might fall and break arm
Join circus learn to perform by walking high wire

When I look at my "Bucket List" I get so sad
Like New Year Resolutions that I never kept
Need a new list of very achievable things
When I seriously thought about this I just wept..

Introverted
Christian, puzzle-solving, athletic, musician
Who loves his bride, his children, his lineage.
I think love is the key to most locks, joy is attainable, peace is achievable.
I feel blessed to be alive, lucky to be in love, amazed by warmth of friendship.
I fear being trapped, being paralyzed, being insignificant.
I would like to see Paris art museums and 30 MLB stadiums. And grandchildren!
I am a California resident; home of Yosemite, Disneyland, Golden Gate bridge.

Lurking Darkness

Sleep now my love,
you have earned a great rest.
It has been hard on you.
It has been hard on us.
There is still time left.

They gave us days, you already proved them wrong.
You are a warrior, equal… toe to toe with Sparta.
They turned into weeks…and then months.
See, “they”, the white coats know nothing.

Believe me instead. “He” is listening to my words.
I am praying for you! You are my very breath, to his ears…
He misses nothing!

We tried their game of drugs and cuts and happy days.
There were really none. Sickness became the order of things.
Changing our thoughts, and sweeping away the tears…
left us tired, but not without hope.
The very fact that we now swim with the current,
knowing he is carrying us forward,
has provided a depth of peace…
un-achievable by pills and man made cures.
Higher than healing of the heart alone,
It is total and complete.

I am praying for everything.
I am praying for your soul.

Amen.

These Brick Bound Boxes

these brick bound boxes
fill this equinox of smart headed people
of these independent achievable people
critical analysts of this 21 century
ready to be presentable to the unmighty
smaller population of antisocial teenage children
willing them to be

not to be free, but inside these brick bound boxes
that fill the human intelligence with total
literate irrelevance to who we should be
to who can be

ultimately like them
filled in these brick bound boxes
with mental instimulance
of a mix of lies, creation and motives
see, I don’t have a problem with any of them

just these brick bound boxes that hold them
hold this unforgettable willing mind
of someone we chose to leave behind
in these brick bound boxes

that encompass first the mind and then the soul
but who wants all this control?

society can speak of a whole.
an incredible strong mental image
of how life is to be--
within these brick bound boxes.

My life isn’t based in these brick bound boxes
but it soon will
creating a song of the monotone dead
longing to be passed on from generation to generation
but can't you see

can't you forget that this is not who we ought to be
unless we need to spontaneously combust
in this equinox till it metastasizes
catastro sizes to an everlasting dust
even you must ought to smell the musk.

So tell me, how do thee?
how do thee live with these brick bound boxes
filling up every empty not-yet-set concrete whole
implying of who you are before you could even
have some kind of control over yourself

its swept under the rug.
no biggie, you're just a kiddie
no actual value to this reality
yet before you can buy alcohol

and I’m someone to sound big
I just don’t want to fill these lonely brick bound boxes
where the death of every living will cease to be a beginning
in this equinox of the everlasting dust,
so do you must, live in these brick bound boxes?

Nullness

Nullness is exploiting me
Vacant heart and soul
Dying slow ready to be
Eaten by all.

Failure is good
Success is heaven
But in that state i stood
Where none lies but demon.

The little fragment that
Never lets me fail
And the moment at
Which i dispair out of ail.

Its a punishment to be
Nothing, and dreams to
Be achievable, but see
I reach nowhere but blue.

The exhausted soul
Those lethargic hopes
Makes me crawl
On swift success slopes.

Where each breath is dull
And each sight blur
I sight death as a mother- to lull
When i constantly err.

My pen frowns at me
And eager to get lost
I see light..but he can't see
As i discuss dreams, he say you boast.
