Premium Member My God, Thank You For Choosing Me

April 15 Scripture Meditations Based on Nehemiah 9-11

Key Verse – Nehemiah 9:7 Thou art the LORD the God, who didst choose Abram, and broughtest him forth out of Ur of the Chaldees, and gavest him the name of Abraham.

MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING ME

Thank You for choosing me toward sin-separation
Allowing me to admit my iniquities before You with sincere consecration
Letting Your forgiveness work through my repentant confession
So I can forsake abomination-corruption’s transgression.

Thank You for choosing me toward law-book reading
Allowing me to seek Your will with Your leading
Letting Your Spirit enlighten my understanding
So I can vanquish allurements that cause my backsliding.

Thank You for choosing me toward praise-worship
Allowing me to delight in Your warm fellowship
Letting Your presence revive my prayer-relationship
So I can progress in Your entrusted stewardship.

Thank You for choosing me toward covenant-faithfulness
Allowing me to exercise diligence within Your pledged goodness
Letting Your promises uphold my vow-fulfillment’s steadfastness
So I can continue in doing Your assigned tasks with my joyful willingness.

Thank You for choosing me toward service-performance
Allowing me to sacrifice by Your gracious guidance
Letting Your power move my labour of patient endurance
So I can bear fruits by Your productiveness-assurance.

Thank You for choosing me toward kingdom-advancement
Allowing me to show Your ready pardon and merciful ways’ involvement
Letting Your kindness inspire my testimony’s commitment
So I can minister well while obeying Your commandment.

Premium Member Sodom and Gomorrah - a History Lesson

It is said the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah,
Are famous for their wicked ways;
That sin was so rife among these two,
That Satan himself ruled the day.

It's said these cities were so rotten and vile,
That life there was Hell on Earth;
And if a child was born in either place,
His fate was sealed before birth.

Abuse of all kinds ran rampant there,
And God said,"Their sin is too great.
The stench of their sin has reached Heaven's Gate,
And so they have sealed their fate."

He sent His angels to visit Lot,
And get him and his family out.
He visited Abram and Sarah Himself,
And told them what He was about.

Abraham begged and pleaded with Him,
"Please don't kill the good with the bad."
And God in His mercy agreed not to do it,
But in the end no good could be had.

Fire and brimstone rained down on them,
And burned all into a white ash.
Where two great cities once had stood,
Was now only salt, sand and ash.

We could learn a great deal from what happened there,
When sin and debauchery held sway.
They didn't believe so they didn't care,
And we're not far behind them today.

In the past the Bible was read in our homes.
We loved God and were proud of it too.
Now even our laws have turned against Him.
It seems Christ is our only taboo.

They cannot believe what they cannot see,
Is what they all say of The Lord.
The people of Sodom said that too,
And they were cut down by His Sword.

If we don't change our ways we'll suffer the same,
For God is no different today.
The party is over and time's running out,
He grows weary of the games people play.

Premium Member Vanity

In the beginning Love proved concept is vain
Extenuating circumstances of concepts are vain,
Truth proved love, the same, not to be vain,
Manifesting truth as a body in essence vain,
That love and its truth be in essence not vain,
Love’s hope was that truth would not remain vain,
Returning true essence to Loves peace again,
In marriage of twain to void the void of vain,
Vanity of vanity, in eternity, it is quite vain,

The truth did live even in the void body of vain,
Abram found truth even in the void of his vain,
Noah proved truth in sight of humanity quite vain,
These men proved death’s message void and vain,
In twain, death providence proves that void is vain,
As Love repented of His truth buried in flesh vain,
Precept proved truth in the concept of a void vain,
Living of the flesh, no eternity stash, it is in vain,
Truth is in simplicity, complex concepts are vain…
                                                                         …Selah!

And now I prefer to accolade and paint my family in words & this is it,
Tribute to my mother queen Stella & Rolls my Handsome Father,
Your souls are always the silence that watches over me.
Aclamaciones’ to Godfrey and Betty,
You’re my iconic golden illuminators whom I will always adore.
Cheers to #AnnaMary, Star70, my grandma,
You marshal my beautiful life.
Aunts’ Miriam, Robin, Esther & Nora, Santé to you,
You’re family, I can never say good bye to.

What the Stars Told Abraham

What the Stars Told Abraham (How to see like God)

Beloved, we wish you are right in what you write -
We are sworn to the truth of a rather high standard
El-ohim, in Triunity, spoke: "Let there be light!"
El-Shaddai, the Mighty One, gave Father Abram his reward

And just as Jesus told Nicodemus: You must be born again -
Abram had to become Abraham, Father of multitudes, first!
And Sarai the strong became Sarah, "Princess," of His nation
But Hagar had been used to rush the impatience of the flesh

In Abraham’s 99th year, God unleashed never-failing faith -
When Abraham did look up and beyond the stars:
The light of His celestial throne chased away doubt and night,
Yes, LORD, you shared eschatology with this patriarch of ours

He saw Jesus, the Lamb, pure in power and love, on God’s right -
He saw resurrection, without fear for his own flesh, and Isaac’s!
He loved obedience from thenceforth, taking delight
In God’s Law, in His Statutes, in the WORD, eternal Christ

When you look at the stars, beloved, on any night:
Think also of Father Abraham and the Covenant ...
It became real to him when he first loved the stars, the never-ending light -
In which there dwells no darkness or doubt, only perfect judgment

Letter Written In Fetters - 7

Dear son,
I have no prologue, nor epilogue, only dialogue
That began when God's mirror was only man
God's ultimate mind, his dream, his purpose
The lump of clay in his hand, he hears his heart
Pouring over structure after structure of his great design
And we became as he intended, his cherished sons.
I did not make you this way, and should doubt
My efficacy to have ever made you at all. I can't resist
Memories of my own heart beating over you
When I held you cuddled to my love, new born
Is growing up, growing away too? Then the empty nest
Was the twin of your birth, my tragedy deferred
For the now when the phone never rings, and we smile
And say hello, for it is all a heart can hold now
Grooming you, feeding you, buying your joy
In boxes clustered like a room with toys ... these things
Are so superficial to the estrangement we have with God.

From that place of pain I would see, know, touch my life
Like I have meant to touch yours over the walls
Of many interventions and internecine strife, meet me
Like a man and think, how could I take you on Moriah
Unless in another way I had also died? Before we heard
The bleating lamb that would bleat no more on the cross
I had faith that you and I are more eternal than a knife
Raised like a fiend against the ethics of civilization
As if our best gift to God are dead children. You cannot
Come down from that mount without understanding
The way I understand how Oedipus blinded was the same
But unlike Abram, no deity supervened in his pain.
Every separation is another kind of death. Every love
A tragedy struggling to give birth to life again.
I love you son, and always will remain, your father
Longing for the same cross that always is redemption.

Love me now or love me later, the power of love there is no force greater. The love of GOD ,his Son, our Savior. Him, the Most High, Allah, the Creator.
Love thy Father, the GOD of Abram. Praise Yahweh, Jehovah God, I AM.
Praise he that healeth, with a gentle touch of his palm. I sing to you a whisper, a hymn, a psalm.
Fear not death cause with he there is life thereafter. Forgive my folly, I serve you, what's thy will thy Master.
Behold the Alpha and Omega, which is the Beginning and the End. The only one who knows the path of the wind.
Pray all men to the LORD of HOSTS. whom giveth the HOLY SPIRIT, baptized by the HOLY GHOST.
His love flows forever like the waters of a spring. Study thy Word, forsake not thy King.
Forgive us all for we all have sin. Thank you Father, In JESUS name I pray Amen.

Hagar the Horrible Blessing

I
We sing of Hagar the Horrible, yet she is a brilliant blessing -
This late in April 2019; no not for April Fool's Day
I must submit (a poem, at least) - here the reason we play

II
On a certain Sunday, when all true Christians join to pray
To a LORD who loves all ("diversity, too, but let's STOP at "gay")
Can't extend humanity to the brown and gray!
MOST SERMONS: Hagar the Egyptian cannot be any good -
Such have been the fare of feeding "my sheep" by a multitude
Of professors of faith, theologians, doers of GOOD
According to Peter's restoration steps: John, chapter 21

III
Yet Hagar was a key to many a blessing
An Egyptian, yes, but before there were any Islam or current nation
Called Jews, or Israel, or the Twelve Tribes, except Abram -
The Pagan from Haran, from Ur of Iraq, before then
He and Sarai could not wait for God's Isaac, His time
Like the best of us, they HELPED GOD - Tetragrammaton, as in YHWH!
What a novel plan, Sarai: Use the womb of the servant, Hagar,
To create your heir - no record of prayer, or talking with YHWH [YaHWaH]
Before this polygamous deed, then casting her out for a "look"?
(Do with your slave as you please, Abe who wifed Hagar, said to Sarai)
But on the way back to Egypt - Surely at SHUR, the angelic Wall at Shur,
Stopped Hagar the Horrible, because she was a key to AVRAM's goal!
She submitted - better than Abe and Sarai - to God's Angel & instruction!
The COVENANT (we talk a lot about it) was yet to be sealed ...
The self-same day: he was 13 and Abram the Pagan, Ninety-Nine
The slave-woman's son, circumcised with Abraham, the self-same day
Isaac, The Son of Promise, would only come the next year!
Read your Bible (the Twelve Kings first blessed upon Ishmael: God hears!
Even the slaves & indentured, all colors, when they trust and obey
Poor old Abe always had trust, but he didn't always obey ...
Soon it will be the return of LORD of lords & residents: Judgment Day
Read Genesis again, - and again - know why Hagar & Ishmael live on!

The Life of Abram's Nephew Lot

From the Bible, there’s a
Story that’s taught…
The story of Abram’s
 nephew Lot.

There was a path for Abram
and Lot to choose.
But Lot was the one
who really did lose.

He chose to live in Sodom!
Filled with wickedness and sin.
Grieving the heart of God once again!

God’s angels came, and led him out!
Before fire destroyed the city throughout!

To live in this city was his choice!
 His own fault!
Later, his wife turned
into a pillar of salt.

Please watch where you go!
And what you say!.
You’re called to represent Christ every day!

Evil company corrupts good morals!
Your spiritual life will rot!.
Please don’t live a life of compromise!
As did Lot!

January 6 Scripture Meditations Based on Genesis 15-17

Key Verse - Genesis 15:1 After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.

MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR BEING MY SHIELD

You’re my shield, and my exceeding great Reward
Always protecting me from fear’s destruction in my march heavenly forward
Letting me believe in You with Your righteousness-award
For me to bear fruit as Your called steward.

You’re my shield, and my gracious inheritance Source
Always guarding me from every evil force
Letting me prevail over horrors of sin-darkness’ course
For me to serve You midst inviting worldliness of destruction exit doors.

You’re my shield, and my merciful Pardoner for my sanctification
Always defending me from iniquity’s affliction
Letting me separate from filthiness’ abomination
For me to enjoy Your peace and goodness’ satisfaction.

You’re my shield, and my gentle Restrainer against vanity-indulgence
Always covering me from time-wasting habit-resurgence
Letting me multiply my labour-yield of spiritual diligence
For me to please You with whole-hearted obedience.

You’re my shield, and my loving prayer-Hearer
Always surrounding me with Your assurance-answer
Letting me dwell in Your presence forever
For me to abide in Your comfort, being Your care-seeker.

You’re my shield, and my wise Seer with Your sovereign appearance
Always enclosing me against false teachings’ ignorance
Letting me grow in faith’s certainty upon Your truth-assurance
For me to walk before You safely along Your deliverance.

You’re my shield, and my kind Father Who blesses me exceedingly
Always establishing me in Your eternal covenant steadfastly
Letting me live in Your will joyously
For me to experience Your power mightily.

Moon Calling

Knock knock ding dong .... Moon calling. Here I am. Circular white and glowing. Look at my craters. Great arena aren't they. Look out for that long blue ridge. There is a translucent triangle. Moving. Round and round. Good isn't it. Now I would like to sit down. It is day. I have shone all night. Let me rest. Oh fantastic you have made me a seat. Such lovely fabric too. Thankyou so much for this. And a brew too. With bread. Besides the roaring fire. I will tell you the story of the colours and then I must sleep. Swinging swirling shaping shafts simmering shimmering sedately. Ornate. Every eon brings a spade. A spade that digs and offers hue to a blackness. Auric Vedic beauty beams. Iridescent in form. And delivered. Sky capsules if human formation are simply not powerful enough to eradicate the flow. Timeless. Ceaseless. Endless. And now I sleep. Thankyou for your hospitality. Wave to me tonight. Calibres cantering catering clapping. Good. Xxxx alder Abram p y q

Premium Member Finding Certainty In Our Christian Experience -Genesis 15: 1-6

In this life, there's so much fake reality
but real living reality is possible to know
here Abram shows in what he received
was for real as much as falls of snow

God's word is living and active then and now
as Abram was told God is your great shield
bringing a reward that this vision proved true
for the Lord would provide an heir from His field

A promise was given by God Himself
that Abram would have His very own son
God showed him the skies high above
such is God's glory to will it to be done

This is our God being in our experience
giving certainty to our conviction so dear
showing our love to our God our saviour
so very precious forever so very dear

Jehovah Tsidkenu the Lord our righteousness
where once a stranger to God and His grace
this gift of righteousness so freely given
God is real and certain forever in His place

(" After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision: “Fear not, Abram, I am your shield; your reward shall be very great.” But Abram said, “O Lord God, what will you give me, for I continue childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?” And Abram said, “Behold, you have given me no offspring, and a member of my household will be my heir.” And behold, the word of the Lord came to him: “This man shall not be your heir; your very own son shall be your heir.” And he brought him outside and said, “Look toward heaven, and number the stars, if you are able to number them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” And he believed the Lord, and he counted it to him as righteousness.")

Divine Name Calling

By Mark Stucky
In our beginning,
        God whispered into DNA dust,
        and “Adam,” infused with breath,
        became the first named being.
In the millennia since,
        God whispered again and again,
and people were never the same,
after they were called by name.

No longer Abram, but Abraham,
        father of nations.
No longer Sarai, but Sarah,
        mother of nations.
No longer Jacob, but Israel,
        tenacious wrestler with God.
No longer Simon, but Peter,
        rocky builder of the Church.

And the Lord said to the people,
through the voice of a prophet,
        “I have redeemed you;
        I called you by name.”
Moses was called by name from a blazing bush,
        to deliver a people,
        to provide covenantal law
in a lost and lawless land.
Elijah was called by name by a still, small voice,
to anoint a prophet and kings,
to cleanse corruption from the land
        and restore the sacred covenant.
Mary was called by name near an empty tomb,
by someone who was not the gardener,
but one who transcended law and death
to redeem us and give us breath.

In our hearts, God calls us still.
God calls us to life fulfilled.
        Whispering, God calls our names,
that we no longer will be the same.
