Isn’t it beautiful that God
Takes care of your day
You’ve no idea if you are heard
You didn’t kneel and pray
It sounds ridiculous to you
To beg for benefits
As if it falls on sacred due
Of God, to know your needs
But from a closer view it seems
That solace is the cause
And you are hoping for the dreams
Where God provides response.

Premium Member Something In Return, Fringe Benefits

Nobody does something for nothing
Everybody expects something in return
If he doesn’t receive the prize, he will snatch the land
If he gives you something, he quickly extends his left hand
To grab or pilfer something in return
It’s dark, please turn on the lantern
An eye for an eye, an eye for a nose
To tell the truth, my friends, nobody knows
What the heck is going on
Piracy is a fantastic weapon
No prize, no land
No money, no band
No oil, no freedom
No fun, no gum
No kiss, no honey
No hugs, no money
Everybody wants something in return
It’s nighttime, please light the lantern.

Who benefits from my belief?

Who benefits from my belief?

Because the last I checked it wasn't me
I mean I am a black girl
Living In a racist misogynistic world
Because why would I worship a god who allowed my people to suffer
Yet caters to the needs of our oppressors
Allows them to call us s
Why would I believe
Why would I worship
Why would I pray
To a god who ignored my ancestors

Please go ahead
Make me understand
How your god created this world
But allows racism
So tell me how religion benefits a black person
Because to me and many others
It seems like a weapon
To keep us broken
In a world that sees us as subhuman
As 'god' watches us suffer
Whilst having the power
To fix this problem

So I ask again
Who benefits from my belief
The only correct answer
Is those who don't look like me
So why would I subscribe
To a religion
To a god
Who clearly hates me

That feeling

"You need to grow up!"
Critic said. "Why, buttercup?"
Friends serene, still fun
Loving with my honey bun,
Sprinkle magic across all years,
Not to worry, with cheers,
Forty years later, your spell,
Love more heaven than hell,
Guess we're still juvenile,
Admire you and your smile,
Benefits glow, like the sun,
Golden years with my one!
That loving feeling ever sought,
Our bliss is never bought.......

Premium Member The Benefits of Nature

Nature's artwork is out of this world,
Too magnificent for words
Splashes of paint of every hue
As if hurled with gay abandon
From bottomless paint pots
To a canvas in the sky
Creating exquisite shapes and artwork
In all, it has many shapes and forms.
Only nature artists do not conform.
To any other visual still-life painters,
Because perfection cannot be competed with.
Nature's paint pot brings joy to us all,
Physically and mentally.
It personifies every emotion.
Life is not always a walk in the park,
Or a walk out of the woods,
But it can lighten your heart for a while
And give you hope for the future.

Just to see the doc, you have to fill out a questionnaire.
It's an N.I.H. mandate that really isn't fair.
You're required to cry your heart out, and list every secret,
And hope the ones reading it will also quietly keep it.

How the N.I.H. uses data, no one knows for sure,
But ask them what they do and they'll quickly show you the door.
To get the Medicare benefits, you have to follow rules.
It seems that the N.I.H. is making us look like fools.

The Benefits Of Gene Editing

Gene editing offers revolutionary possibilities in medicine, agriculture, and beyond.

In healthcare, it could eradicate genetic diseases, enhance immunity against infections, and personalize treatments.
Agricultural benefits include improving crop resilience, yield, and nutritional value, potentially alleviating hunger and malnutrition.

Additionally, gene editing holds promise for environmental conservation by mitigating invasive species or enhancing the adaptability of endangered ones.

Overall, gene editing has the potential to transform human well-being, food security, and ecological sustainability.

useful body

Erasing your fingertips.

Painting over your love.

The bruises no longer hurt, but the memories do.

Picked me up at 2, dropped me home at 11. Of course, I’m only useful in the evening. At night you don’t want my presence. Sharing a bed for the night would be admitting I was a person.

You spoke in whispers, never saying what I needed to hear.

Scars will fade and I will forget.

Isolation was
SUCH a
WELCOME EXCUSE!

Oh my God.
There, I said it...
My selfish soul.

My So, Soooo Selfish:

Soul.

But, no remorse...

What were my old excuses again?

I mean...

Whatever.

Benefits

I lost my world for my word
To be brought spiritually
In the fear of good and evil
So I imbibe you not to bribe
But be good to all children
Benefits!
Bend and see how t fits
Benefits of the cross
He who wore our iniquities
And bought our shame
He drew a line for us
Between mercy and medicine
What a great change
I commit my spirit

Water's Benefits

WATER'S BENEFITS
Water is needed for life
This liquid is not to be shunned
When food is quite rare
And you only have air
That water to quench will be nice

So with the Water of Life
 Our Lord provides against sin
If you see its value
And let it revive you
You'll be glad you took my advice

The Benefits of Having Teenagers Around

As we get older,
Our ability to demolish what is on our plate in short order,
Becomes a pleasure no longer,
And without teenagers around to even the playing field,
Leftovers would continue coming out of left field,
For ever and ever until we find ourselves under the field.

But with teenagers around,
All us non-teenagers get to stay longer above ground,
As the food served up is fresh,
With nothing left on any dish,
That can be served as leftovers,
Which reduces the dangers,
Of obesity for us non teenagers,
From eating portions that are over generous.

Now all we must do is reduce the size of our drinks,
To celebrate the end of leftovers,
If teenagers are around,
To keep us longer above ground.
