Can your Highness give more promises?
So much more that they can be broken,
Minute by minute, day after day for decades.
Can your Highness stay away?
So far that I can't see your face,
That will really make my day.
Can your Highness make me blind?
So blind I can not see any lies.
Can your Highness make me deaf?
So deaf I can't hear a word what was said.
Can your Highness give me darkness,
So dark I need no more cover,
All the heinous behaviours in the world.
Can your Highness drown me in the stream?
Where it can wash away all my dreams.
Can your Highness grant me calmness?
So I won't react every time I was upset.
Can your Highness be nice and fair?
To prove you meant when you said you care.
Can your Highness hold me in your arms?
So when I was harmed, I can remain being calm.
Can your Highness forgive me?
For making your Highness
Out of your way to help me.
Can your Highness do me a favour?
A favour your Highness never done before.
Leave me alone to end all my sufferings.
Can your Highness please,
If you love me let me free,
Now your Highness has destroyed all the friendships,
They ended and can never be mended.

It crossed my mind, to leave your book at the Geelong station.
It could be found in the Lost Property department.
If you wanted to claim it back, you come and get it yourself.
Your book and the chocolate box weighed 1/2 a kilo.
The weight caused my walking steps heavy hence slow,
Thought they would be off my load,
As soon as I meet you on the train.
No, you played disappear game again.
This time, you will not stand a chance.
Please refrain yourself,
From using the same or any excuses.
You are now one year older,
Should be somehow wiser.
With your irresponsible behaviours
All you could get was some vouchers and dinner.
I did not care your excuses any more.
Just stay away from me,
I might be a loner, but I am not a loser
I have had plenty to share and give,
Only to those who deserved it.
If you have issues, keep them with you.
If you have problems, I did not want to hear them.

Here I am again at Geelong.
Not only I am alone, but also unhappy.
My trip over the long weekends had been altered and changed,
Not by the weather nor a new plan,
Simply by some body who has no sense of responsibilities.
I shall not loose any of my time and energy,
On a person like this.
He gave me a book,
In which he described himself as a loner.
And disclosed so many of his unacceptable behaviours,
But not a word of his selfishness nor breaking promises characters.
By now, I am happy and relief,
Visiting one of my favourite beaches.
The Geelong icon, "Manningham" pier,
The newly built hook shaped Yarra Street pier,
In less than 90 minutes,
I shall be on my way to Apollo Bay.
I do not know if I am going to have big waves,
Which knocked me to the ground and hurt my knees,
I do not mind at all, because
I was not promised by the nature,
I will embrace what so ever,
Big or small, rough or gentle,
Not like some people,
Give you high hope and drop you like hot potato.
I knew I was a loner, but I will never be a loser.

We all started life a sheath of blank pages
Able to be shaped into anything.
Paper aeroplanes, an artist’s canvas, a library book.
Our parents determine what kind of paper we are
-Cardstock, coloured tissue or plain white sheets.
As we grow, our friends, our families, our teachers
Etch the ink into us,
Page by page, letter by letter
Building up our childhoods.
We felt everyone knew better than us,
(and perhaps they did)
So, we obeyed, listened and absorbed everything
-morals, actions, behaviours-
Until attentiveness turned into reticence,
Til compliance became blind trust.
We trusted everyone by our sides, trusted what they said,
What they told us to do.
Until we realised we shouldn’t.
Nobody had ever showed us
The callous hands that tore instead of turned,
Ripping out our pages for their own.
Nobody showed us what it felt like
To have your story stolen,
To feel oneself drown beneath another’s ink.
Now I have just one question
How do I rewrite what was burned?

Alienated into thinking I needed validation
Becoming a little rough on the edges
Cornered heart seeks originality
Diamond mind has been rusted
Emotional value is increasing
Fighting through it all
Grandiosity never came
Hi everyone, what shall we do next?
Interesting way of introducing,
Jeopardising oneself, making myself the clown.
Kind enough to reinvent itself
Limerence of fanatical behaviours
Mandatory to health, sought no one's friend
Night vision has been done for
Optimistic endeavours led me to figuring out
Past the ambience of melancholic order
Questioning self worth isnt for me.

Pink Flamingos
The only bird of the family, Phoenicopteriformes
Is the "flame-coloured" flamingo, so named by the Spanish.
A wader on long legs with arcuate filtering bill;
Eater of shrimp and algae that pigment feathers pink.
Posed confidently, balanced on one leg to conserve energy,
They display beauty and grace under an aura of innocence;
In a relaxed atmosphere, appearing flirtatious,
Congregating in pats exhibiting social behaviours.
In Spring, the birds participate in mating rituals,
Of synchronized dance steps marching in unison:
With necks stretched, heads flagging and wings flapping;
To encourage nesting and pair bonding.
***
Notes:
Phoenicopterus: ‘Phoenicopterus' is the Latin name for flamingo. Flamingo comes from the Portuguese or Spanish meaning “flame-coloured.”
Pat (aka Flamboyance): A ‘pat (aka flamboyance)' is a group of flamingos.

MEANING
Can meanings of words run out
A bit like when a battery is low
No longer quite able to sustain
The punch we’ve come to know
Now, like a devalued currency
Almost worthless copper coins
Once proud, yet now destitute
As the sad queue it finally joins
Maybe love is now such a word
Of deep feeling, a pale reflection
Once was used, but now abused
Unworthy of much introspection
It doesn’t even feel like evolution
As words get replaced by others
It is like a weakening generation
Always hiding under the covers
A subtle trend, but all’s not lost
If we might alter our behaviours
Trying more speech and singing
Could poets now be our saviours

Dear Paramedics…. With this poem I admire and honour you
For the occupation you have chosen
Doing a job that so many of us just couldn’t do
You are first on the scene
Dealing with behaviours, emotions ,wounds
Raw human reality of the ultimate extreme
Absolute panic ,violence, sadness, trauma
Complete devastation of the worse kind
Horrific situations and sights etched eternally in the mind
The job has many rewards l assume
Ones of gratitude,positive outcomes, births
Kindness and great appreciation for the Paramedics worth
Then there are the driving skills required
That alone a dangerous mammoth task
Getting to the scene quickly and safely…. not an easy ask
I have never required an ambulance
Nor had any involvement with one
Yet , l value the Paramedics role above and beyond
Accolades and recognition are more deserving
For the unbelievably important position you hold
What you do in our world is worth its weight in gold
I just want you to know how valued you are
Acknowledging and praising the great job you do
So from the bottom of my heart l say a massive “Thankyou”!!

It's a divine quality. It demands inner stasis
Iron-hard mind, petrified with pessimism, is altered
Ego gives way; generous grace cells form a fine basis.
Inauspicious elements of selfishness get faltered
As from freshly transplanted seedlings, there's transformation
Noble feelings, attitudes, and behaviours, like spring, thrive.
Resentment giving way to kindness, there's new creation
Elevated needs and enhanced optimism are alive
Sows hope-filled seeds of the future, decreasing depression
Like new wine in a new skin, angles of outlook alter
Repentance, reconciliation, and restoration
Lead to restitution and redemption with no falter.
Soul, like jubilant birds in the blue sky, is exultant
Within, divine graces, like flooding rivers, are abundant.

When some criminals think to be better people because of their skin colours, their brains are totally damaged.
Quote by poet.
Better folks,
Sometimes some people can think
to be who they are not.
Let us look at mentality, behaviours
and characters
which prove the worst
or best people.
When the group of people standing to ill-treat others,
they behave so badly.
How can their skin colours make them
best folks in the eyes of millions?
It is just illusions.
Who do you think to be when you stand
to defend some oppressors
or " bullies"?
What can you do when some killers
feel guilty
Because they were called
"murderers "
And they continue killing innocent folks?
Who are best people between the killers
and victims?
There is no day
any skin colour will make
a killer "
or an oppressor,
or a bully"
to look better person in any
society on earth.
Some people need to change
for their benefits.

I teach you more about God
You are now becoming good
Guy in the society
People can see it daily
Your behaviours help other
Guys change and call me father.
I am happy for you dear
And being kind every year.
You will harvest in future
When more people will be pure
After following this way
Of Christ and proceed to pray.
Holy, our best teacher is,
Lord and Saviour Christ Jesus,
Following his words mostly
Demons will fear you daily.

She never had a male role model
Or male figure in her in childhood
From a family of five females
Women is what she understood
She was a sweet girl
Quite gullible and naive
As she grew into womanhood
Male interactions were not well received
She encountered inappropriate behaviours
A health professional did her wrong
She was fearful of the opposite sex
Until you came along
You were kind and you were funny
So safe she felt with you
A good and decent honest man
Restoring her faith and fearful view
You have loved her a lifetime
She has loved you
You are the perfect role model
The one she never knew …..

Dr. Yaya has the whole town in his pocket
Apart from being a strong member of the ruling cabinet
He's a super merchant in oil and fine gold
Sadly he's never being the people's stronghold
In his sixty years of being in politics
He's being a negative influence and a merchant of tricks
He's the force the government uses to direct a blow
Because he's always being the people's foe
This principality has his mansion built on a hilltop
Where the youths in the hill town can't have a problem and stop
The day he became ailing because he fell in his bathroom
Marked the beginning of his doom
Because his condition became his enemies tool
They took his stool and cornered him like a village fool
Who in want of wisdom threw his shoes in a well
His barefootedness will surely make people marvel
Charity they say begins at home
When you go to farm remember that you'll return home
The merchant of crude behaviours
Died without any honors
Even the members of his family
Didn't bury him delightfully
And after burying their unguided relative
No one could resist the people as they dance on his grave.
