Your heart betraying
Your voice trembling
Your poise like a baby
The fight you can't win

Don't try to hide it
Don't try to fight it
Like water just too powerful
When high the flow too violent
And you cannot swim against the tide
Rather it dictates your way

Don't hide it
It can't be masked
The pain in the eyes
The rapid beat of the heart
Silly behaviours shown
The heart's warmth radiating...

Words float above the breeze
Shouted to all in an attempt to please
Crowds chant words heard above it all
Wanting their fifteen is there call

Lives need to be fulfilled in this world
And errant behaviours not upheld
Ugliness as well as beauty is a part
Of this our earth it will impart

It seems the media will be 
Selective in what they want us to see
So we look on and wonder why
Truth is immaterial in their ploy.

Never cares about others interest
Ever willing to get you suppressed

Oh human existence
Joy of the wretched
Tears of the opulence
Man is ever unsatisfied

Life is beautiful

Some are insatiable
Certain behaviours are unbelievable

Work while the light fades
Work with life in the shades
Reap the fruits of your labour
Leap  the joy of your harbor

For eyes cannot see it
Beauty requires a patient heart
To discover its hidden traits

Some claim to see beauty
Forgetting it is only skin deep
Where eyes do not reach
Only the heart feels deep through

Beauty is hidden in things
Behaviours you love so much
And beauty is discovered everyday
That is why love grows each and everyday

They see beauty
Outlook preferences confused
The warmth that grows cold
Heart's rhythm refusing to match...
