At first, just a glance
Denial keeps the pace
You didn't see that
You must stay in place
The body signals alarm
Growing louder with violation
Yelling, "Set a boundary
For LOVE's precious elation!"
Shame and guilt steps up
Offering clothes to wear
Convincing of ownership
Where fear mauls and tears
If the mind makes it through
The landmines set for decimation
Unseen forces press and push
For humanity's annihilation
Finally, after peace settles
The soul to assuredly reside
The journey takes familiar roads
Calling out fragments that were forced to hide
"Come forth! Be counted as gold
In the treasure of the eternal King
LOVE has won the war over fear
His presence now rules over all things
...made of matter
Written by Trudy Schrader on 08-15-2026/
Each May, the month of Mary, I believe?
To stables gables, wondrous nests to weave.
20 years espial by precious broods,
Amidst the beasts of burden,
yet unmoved.
Alas, the chestnut lad is here no more,
His brave old heart, no longer to endure!
My only solace now, a sweet refrain
Assuredly, to know he has no pain
With deep regret I’m suddenly aware
No Summers with swallows, hereafter,
shall we share.
I recall the wise words by Aesop, spoken,
and wonder, " Is our collective conscious broken?"
A hare can assuredly outpace
a tortoise in any fair race.
To say otherwise, I suggest, is inane.
I conclude, therefore, Aesop was insane.
In my heart, roaring memories, precious
Blessing me with a gentle grace, tender
Like the spirit who taught me, from my youth
To believe in the One who is living proof…
I am someone that God chose, a child of the king
Believing in the love that only He can bring
Lifting my hands to the living king, yes – I cling
To the love that gave me a reason to sing
Oh, how often I sing…
Let the joy in my voice ring, ring, ring
Faith comes by hearing but I know the One
Who silences the darkness, whispers peace to the war
Writing my story in a blessing that never ends
Blessing me with grace that leaves me sure of Him
In my heart, I know the miracle of His love
A greater love has never been – He is the light
A light far wiser, far brighter, far more beautiful
Than anything I’ve ever known or seen,
Anything better, I could never dream
He is assuredly my everything!
'While stranded high and dry
unemployed skippers ate a lot of kippers'
which smacks of a red herring to me
is a tale told when we were but nippers
altho' with neither fowl nor feline
in a beautiful pea-green boat
the motley crew who put to sea
were assuredly safe and sound when afloat
but then as ocean water rose within
thereby a somewhat large hole revealing
the now woeful matelots felt dreadfully unhappy
as they smelt a strange yet serious sinking feeling
for sadly a rather bad leak had sprang in the bilge below
and their ship went down like the proverbial stone
so the jobless captains fared far better
as landlubbers secure ashore home on their own
I don’t know how to do fun,
it may be a genetic abnormality
inherited from my alcoholic father
and from my emotionally abused mother.
Two weak genes assuredly create
an unwanted characteristic
not obvious to a casual acquaintance,
but expressing itself long-term.
My now ex discovered it six months in
and walked away with the fun girl
who lived next door~
I just couldn’t compete with all that bubble.

God asks for our most cherished gift,
The one we love, the one we protect and treasure best.
The thing our hearts hold closest still —
He asks for that, even though it may be hardest.
He desires the gift we value most assuredly,
The one we would never choose to lose, or give a second thought to give,
The joy, the dream, the love we boast —
That’s the gift He asks us to choose.
For when God gives, He gives His best,
No holding back, no second best.
He gave us Jesus, His only son.
A Father’s heart, His only Son.
He gently formed us from the dust,
Breathed life and purpose into us.
He called us good, He called us loved,
Fearfully made in every way.
So what shall we return to Him,
The One who gave us breath and grace?
Let’s offer all — our love, our best,
Our hearts laid open, face to face.
Hope that when we choose, we choose our best gift.
In his heart is burning aggression
And violence is his lifelong confession
And sure he might wear nice shoes and a tie
But that's a masquerade mask to suit the lie
A barbarian in heart and mind
He rarely fits in with the civilized kind
Dancing on his victim's grave
He assuredly is a dastardly knave
Devilish desires feed his fury
Quelling the fire inside he seeks to bury
There is no sense in the violence
But also no peace in the silence
Your voice is not noise
Even if powerful people it annoys
If allowed to continue the meandering neanderthal
Will be the fall of it all
Feasting on the Soup tonight,
A scrumptious fare of pure delight
A wonderous place, assuredly
And nary one darn calorie!
No rush.
Across the terrain goes the tortoise.
Intently moving toward its destination
Slow but assuredly, it moves without hesitation.
Moving barely, barely moving
But steadfast it remains.
There is no balking as it moves down the line.
Every step taken leaves a lasting imprint.
With each one, purpose shows
No missteps. No rush.
And so goes the tortoise.
No procrastination.
Only wise steps of purpose

I'm feeling judged still by what jury's found cold; in the courts of February
Tried to hide 'til July; warm feelings are just not meant to be temporary
I count my curses on one hand and my blessings on the other
Whichever fills up first; the latter will assuredly smother
The shadows always seem to know that light exposes the darkest holes
You can't get over it or crawl out from under it; within me no angel controls
But I'm willing to watch over you mimicking their heavenly roles
With its gift, I provocatively compose about the most wishful goals
Laying on this rusted bed of nails; made with the hammer of trite
In love, if there wasn't profound real pain, would it ever feel quite right?
What’s an Onomatope
I thought, most assuredly that this, simple term, I must know.
Or, my brain melting is under my hair, the sparkling color of snow.
So here is a example, hope I don’t scare you, it has no complexity
The word , “hiss,” a word that sounds like what it means, utter simplicity!

Most assuredly, for America,
These are not the best of times,
nor are these the worst of times.
Times have been worst and there is no
promise of better days ahead. History for good
or bad is already set in stone, but what lies ahead
can be much affected and influenced by how we
respond in the present. America's currently stormy
political climate evokes anguish, tears, and pain.
In all of my observing years, I have not witnessed a more
divisive time exemplified in all three government areas.
It appears that the executive, legislative, and judiciary
arenas of government are suffering gravely.
I pray that the present weather turbulence in our country
does not signal a similar tornadic crisis in our political future.
In light of our present status, I pray not for blessings because
we presently are bathing in abundance, but my prayer is that
God will send us a deluge of His bountiful mercies.
