Well the left bit’s connected to the back bit
And the back bit’s connected to the right bit
And it all fits together on the base bit
Then you turn the whole thing over for the top bit
The bit that goes inside looks like it might fit
So stick it in and hope that it’s a tight fit
Then these four little round bits, each a floor bit
Must be said at best they are a poor fit
This bit must go somewhere but it won’t fit
And this bit is apparently the door bit
There’s a bag of little bits they call a screw kit
The leaflet says there’s sixteen screws that you fit
No wonder nothing seemed to be a good fit
Now I’m feeling stupid and a right nit
So I took it all apart and grabbed a screw bit
Screwing screw bits where I need a screw fit
Oops, I see the top bit isn’t well fit
I think I’ve used the top bit as the shelf bit
Now I think I’ve gone and lost a floor bit
And the hinge bits will not fit into the door bit
Now I’ve got to fit the little latch bit
But it seems it hasn’t got the catch bit
I’m at the point at which I wanna burn it
So I’ll take it all apart…
and then return it
There’s no council without wise old,
Nor old that vouch dharma nor virtue,
No virtue, truth would not uphold,

Poet’s note: Sanskrit has thousands of verses of wisdom called Subhashhitam. This verse is taken from Mahabharata, Sabha Parva. Draupadi was molested in the royal court despite the presence of wise old people like Bheeshma, Drona, Vidur, and Kripacharya. They were all talking about dharma while allowing such a thing to happen. (What Draupadi said is valid; what Duryodhan argued is also not invalid…) The transliteration of the Sanskrit verse follows:
Na saa sabhaa yatra na santi vriddhaah,
vriddhah na te ye na vadanti dharmam |
Dharmah na vai yatra cha na asti satyam,
satyam na tat yat chhala na anu-viddhyam ||

I ordered a TV stand;
For “Assembly?” I checked “no,”
Believing we could do it, but
Once here, we both said, “Whoa!”
I contacted the company
And yes, it’s not too late.
I’ll hear from their assembly team
To thus arrange a date.
They charged my card but now I wait;
There seems to be a glitch.
The wooden parts, unpacked, are stacked;
The sight just makes me twitch.
Assembly once had rules I knew
And followed to a T.
Today no special outfit
Would give any help to me.

Think about someone like Grima Wormtounge making Saruman a pot of tea?
What about the eye of Sauron trying to find someone to play monopoly or Frodo, giving the ring to Gollum so he can go just home for tea?
Ever think about the characters with their nail clippers, getting waxed or brushing their teeth?
Imagine Rambo with a lawnmower that’s gone faulty?
Or what about The Terminator assembling IKEA furniture quietly?
Ok, try to picture Deadpool trying to find something to wear to a fancy dress party.
What about the ‘man with no name’ listening to the payment options for a flat-screen TV?
Now, what about James Bond getting pissed on your settee or Jason Bourne, bag in hand, waiting to see if the dog just wanted a pee?
Do you ever think of film characters in the realms of reality or is it just me?
If a person, ultra negativist,
thinks everyone is communist,
sans vaccine at UN, speaker,
a virus bomb, leaker,
if sneezes says fire ! as anarchist
Assembly everyday,
that keeps my friend,
cool and clear now dear?.

Yes, we were forced into national pride,
Singing the anthem at assembly time,

God saved something in times of yore!

chanting our oms like precious children that we were

with a splash of wind , we lost concrete;
Monks and Monkesses of Deity, four to be exact
flying over earthly number, we were invisible
who knew...
Spirals of vibrations, a sound outside a sound
radial clearances from angels who ensconce
as we assembled to resemble, first together
then apart, ...we reassembled once again
beneath the outdoor gazebo where the soul
with seperable existence made us many,
made us one...
