Atonement Applied

THE ATONEMENT APPLIED
A "Man" stands in the Heavenly courts--
His death for sin will now atone.
There are scars on head, side, and hands.
He raises these hands and pleads for His own.
On earth, a Lamb, His blood He shed.
In heaven, High Priest, that blood He pleads
His righteous life and willing death,
As we kneel in prayer with all our needs.
He pleads our cause in these last days,
Our only hope to overcome
The last great fight in Satan's war,
And thus be sealed when victory's won.
For when He leaves the Heavenly Courts
And prepares to take His children home,
No longer will He atone for sin.
Probation's hour is forever gone.
Today, dear ones, He pleads your case;
Tomorrow brings, so soon, the end.
We can't delay to give Him all--
God's Lamb, High Priest, our King and Friend.

today's streamlined flying machines
would amaze the Wright brothers
and their successors I think, for they amaze me.

They are electronic and mysterious
like the secrets behind our glass fronted buildings
applied science in its most gorgeous state is mindful

Premium MemberApplied To Scratch

The itch is less than constant pain
not enough to cause a moan
but always there in misery
asking balm to cure the ill

that static humming on the nerves
stripped to wires sparking hot
the echoes sound at all times
a dirge to state illusion's cast

the glow perceived in manic flush
wishing less than consequence
perhaps the crowds can’t conceive
a state beneath that asks too much

at the price of sanity
a rage suppressed against the need
questing for the medicine
applied to scratch demanding deeds.

Premium MemberRedemption Applied On My Spiritual Mirror

Right from my earliest years
the thought of God was there
thinking much of how I came to be
into this world showing your care

I always believed in you O God
You the divine being mighty is He
learning continually from your word
in this I read wholeheartedly I did agree

Read deep spiritual scriptural truth
many years later I saw your light
showed me my sin there since birth
your remedy of repentance for my plight

That crack in my mirror
showed up all of my sins
suddenly realised my need
redemption applied now wins

I came running to you Lord
received in your arms so warm
felt safe secure and satisfied
you are my God true to form

Now every day you teach me
your great truth more and more
learning to obey kneeling in prayer
seeking your face knowing your door

Premium MemberEternal Redemption Applied

God is the God of eternal redemption
sending for my salvation His dear son
who became my redeemer that lives
paid the price for my sins atonement done

God requires me to believe in Him
providing knowledge so I would know
that Jesus redeemed me from all my sin
so I could go on to spiritually grow

God proves His great love for me
sticking close by me forever and a day
for Jesus, His dear son died for me
so my sure foundation will always stay

God has proved He's my loving God
for my Redeemer lives eternally true
He'll stand on this earth at the final day
showing that I'm part of His heavenly crew

This Could Be Applied To Many People But Not My Angel

I USE MY GENIUS AS A TOOL NOT TO BECOME A FOOL

Say anything, do anything and try anything you care to
But I’m not falling for a phony like you
Your words pass your lips like waste through your intestinal tract
And a subject that the truth of you will ultimately redact

Tell me, write me, or smoke signal me, I don’t give a damn
So listen to a learned one such as me ma’am
I ain’t paying attention to your written words, but it’s actions I require
Nor will I buy into someone who could be a liar

I didn’t invent lying, I only perfected it
And when I lie people have never rejected it
See, what you don’t dig is that not everyone’s a genius such as me
So if you want to talk to me pay up, because I ain’t buying, even if it’s free

Say, do, and try whatever you care to do
But remember, I’m two score smarter than you
So try, lie, deny or do whatever you will
But I will not pay attention to what could be your scribed swill
