snow still sticks
 holiday season's over
springtime's moving in

dust

another one bites the dust
not love just actions paired with lust
knowing he is someone i can't fully trust
though i loved his thrusts

but i was made for more
a lover who loves to pour
no only when it's convenient for him
not only when things are bright
but also when they are dim

Stranger Visions of Our Fleeting Lifetimes

The die is cast
lungs turn to rust
another one bites the dust
Quick! Hide Roxy
Queen; she is a-coming!
Abandon Abadon's ship
Abandon tea
make way for the ancient mariner
Pigs to the sea.

Have you ever listened to Rock Me Amadeus on Karaoke

I would rather be a Bat Out Of Hell on my Stairway To Heaven

And that is what they will have to sing when my box gets lowered

Sunk into eternity while the pastor's Guitar Gently Weeps

For Singing In the Rain we can be sure A Hard Rain is going to fall

Pitter patter on the Eve Of Destruction and Smoke On The Water

Overcoming Sounds Of Silence on a miraculous Yellow Brick Road

Funeral For A Friend Knocking On Heaven's Door Born To Be Wild

I wish for a cacophony of voices a true concerto for a Tambourine Man

Honest and truthful recitations of Lucy Jordan when I cross the Styx

Caron shouts Don't Pay The Ferryman for my ultimate Ticket To Ride

A Script For A Jester's Tear has to ooze gracefully and Slip Sliding Away

Dance Me To The End Of Love and don't forget The Famous Blue Raincoat

For it's The End Of The World As We Know it and The Doors know The End

The Song's Over and from now on it will be Radar Love on Telegraph Road

Another One Down
And another one bites the dust.

Marriage.
My friend, my neighbor, the lady next door,
Rampant miscalculations of being too nice,
two people that complain, endlessly.

She does not do enough.
I have not had “any” in weeks.
I work all the time.
What do I show for it?
When do I get my due?
These are the words,
That he would spew.

She did the dishes,
She worked two jobs,
She got the kids to school,
What a fool…
She made dinners,
and kept appointments,
made small talk with your mom,
who hates her.

Yet… She does (did) not do enough.
I wanted, need(ed) more.
I wanted my feet rubbed, twice each night.
I wanted someone to bring my dinner in the chair.
When my plate is empty, I want more…
I want her to fill it,
and every need,
that I can think of,
until,
I feel…
loved,
enough.

I am “first” not last, I am the husband.
I am the King of everything.
I sit alone in my new apartment.
“Why… is she mad at me?”

Red roses bleed...you just can not see it...

Escape From Wonderland

On the run, again
Being chased by rogue police
I got to protest
That I’m innocent
I’m a law-abiding criminal
I mean citizen
On the last exit to wonderland
I ended up all banged up in hospital
After this constant battle
With guns and knives
Another one bites the dust
On my hospital bed, I’m reminiscing
Of how many friend’s I lost
To this urban war
I thank God
That I don’t drink Bourbon anymore
Side effects lets me land face first on the floor
So, that chapter of my life I had to close the door
I’m currently checking my final score
I’m not going back to the lab again
I went from vegetable to a surgical guinea pig
Talk about Frankenstein’s worse nightmare
I’m out again now you can stop and stare…

How many people are you going to love in your life time?
Too many
When it is said and done
You are going to love only one
So you'd better know who it is
I am not going to tell you
But I can help you
Is he or she who you can live without?
Then he or she is not the one
Does he or she always stay in the back of your mind?
Then you'd better watch out
Is he or she making you crazy?
Then you can live without
Her or him I mean
But can you?
Ha
Is he or she constantly bugging you?
For attention
Then he or she is not the one
Whoever it is doesn't need to bug you
'Cause you are already there
in your thoughts
The world is full of lovers
But only take one for you
When the time comes
you'll know
God does not leave you stranded
Unknowing
Then you will know
Then you know that you know that you know
That's my thought for the day
Don't leave me stranded, will ya
God?

The Dead Word Pile

My fault, sorry, the writing’s on the wall.
Awesome, pretty, don’t matter none at all.
The words just have to join the pile
Where all dead words will go.
Their time is up, it’s over, done
No longer in the flow.

Jiffy, knickers, no silver linings here.
Awesome, very, I’ll cry them in my beer.
Selfie, twerk, will move to take their place.
And words like cool, too long in use,
Will not keep up the pace.

Perhaps if I could hum them and set them to a beat.
I’d roll down all my windows and blast them to the street.
I’d use them one more time and mix them in a rant
I’d use them all together to give them a new slant.
I’d bounce them off the Dairy Queen, the Laundromat, the Mall
I’d shout them out just one more time
And try to save them all.

But really now, their time is up
It’s too late for the save.
I give them up, forevermore
And cast them to their grave.

Whoops!
OMG
Another one bites the dust.
Down the drain!
MY BAD.

Mr. Donald once had the boardwalk’s centerpiece.
However, its operations will abruptly cease.
What a jewel of a hotel in the middle of Atlantic City!
We have seen diminishing returns with this property.
The doors will close along with two others in the vicinity.
I don’t believe its patrons will feel any pity.
Just think of it as one less place to lose your money.
The shore’s gambling Mecca is not what it used to be.
Who cares if the other houses sink into the sea?

Premium Member Biting the Dust In Atlantic City

It is horrible news for any business entity
if an outfit is forced into a bankruptcy.
There is no immunity even in the casino industry.
Another one bites the dust here in Atlantic City.
After the thirteenth day of the month of January,
the southernmost place on the boardwalk will be history.
Due to the economic climate and increased competition,
any enterprise can fall into a precarious situation.
Apparently unable to meet its current obligations,
a hotel has been told to cease its operations.
We will be saying goodbye after over thirty years.
Apparently, only hotel employees will be shedding tears.

Sleepless Nights Vol Ii

This is just another tale from the
crypt another one bites the dust I
guess she didn't make the guest list,
just another enigma, that's what she
called me when she couldn't paint
this picture but I say she should've
just drunk from another pitcher,
assumptions turns into to a failed
attempt to someone who could
decrypt ya thoughts actions
emotions, and weeks later it still
hasn't soaked in, so it seeps in threw
the cracks of past feelings but I
refuse to look back on my life but
still I envision the ghost of my past,
taking me back down memory lane,
but I know better my present is a
gift and my past is something I
wouldn't exchange, no matter how it
looks is that the reason I'm reading
so many books, I guess I'm looking
for the secrets that they hid, will I
find out it was indeed the truth or
another fictitious fib, so I open that
door that door without hesitation
knowing that if I expose the truth
they might send me on my final
destination, so it's do or die and my
life has an expiration date on it
anyway I understand I'm damned if
I do, so hello to sleepless nights
once more with no regrets as I
expose the truth
