Purple Dreams In Other Realms

Once upon a magical evening an enchanted fairy I happened to see 
dressed in a fantastical dress with  two dappled wings of lace,     
she shone like the midnight sun; 

I must confess, she looked rather whimsical  
sitting there by a green wooden door, waiting for your lore ! 

My Ambitions in the face of some witches

Some witches want to rumble
But they forget I believe the Bible

There are so many fights
Jealousy is alive but 
I survive because of the Blood of Jesus!
I am coming as a Kingdom Citizen
The witches are citizens of darkness
Brokenness taught me never to fear a fool
Being cruel will catch up with you
The Word becomes fuel as 
I

They’d fallen in love
as some young people do—
so that lust might rationally increase.

Their bright, valentine-red-blood fairly beat for love.

It’s good that we can name a thing—
describe it and classify it, so it’s out there,
fact-like, in the flimsy, indefinite poetry-verse

It was a day for it, as the sun, that most followed star,
was a carnotite paintball-splotch against

Never Abandon Stellar Ambitions

Whoosh. Whoosh.
A fire beneath steel,
The engines burn, the heavens kneel.
Thrum.
The pulse of courage, the beating heart,
Each mission a daring work of art.

Seven names on Challenger’s sky,
They rose with dreams, they dared to fly.
Crack. Pop. Boom.
The frost betrayed,

The Bloody Ladder

He was a success and on top of the world,
But his triumph came at a great price,
Had stepped on too many lives,
Up the ladder to the top.
He sat behind a big mahogany desk,
And soon knew he was over his head,
Was not prepared for the task,
For someone at the top.

Wings are hard to fly
Not fair easy going home
Buzzing, lawless try.

What Comes Of Dreams

Oh, why so many dreams bestowed
in young and tender years,
fall into drifting dust decay  
then sadly disappear.

Are dreams to blame for broken hearts
and quiet hour’s remorse?
Or is the dreamer born of guilt 
for veering from its course?

Are dreams unfair for rising up
to skies in brilliant hue?
Perhaps they take no time for thought
and ask too

A shattered wing represents life.
An object of this sort can't climb.

He’d bought a suit of light
He practised with his mother’s cape
Nearly every single working night

He could perform The Veronica
With a certain style and grace
Always maintaining the required
Look of haught there on his face
He felt close to perfection
Felt he’d reached his peak
just needed to face a first bull
Within the next few

Stop Taking Her For Grant It

We exploit her gifts, polluting, robbing.
Mother earth has a soul and we've
all heard her sobbing..
Too many species are now extinct.
We need to slow down, reassess, think..
Exxon, Shell, Chevron need new tools,
stop their reliance on our fossil fuels.
These companies must end their
greedy ambitions. They are responsible
for 71% of our global emissions..
We've known that it's coming.

Sunrise

At the breaking of dawn
The first light of the sun arrives
Appearing in the sky
After long hours of darkness
Sleep and unconsciousness
Dreams and illusions
A new era dawns in
An era of vigours,movements and ambitions

Sedimentary Ambitions

Many think of time as 
pendulums and gears,

cycling spheres; orbiting
around, sun-ups and sun
downs; 

I once painted a clown-face
for the moon, not in a mood
to tone-fully crone – my co-artist 
thought me some non-romantic loon –

Man loves friends
Babies have toys as friends
Children have peer groups as friends
Young men like making friends
Friends can become spouses
Entrepreneurs have ambitions and dreams 
as friends
Stars are friends of the moon
The splendid glow is the friend of sunset
The shore is the friend of the sea
We are friends of our grandchildren
Pets are man's friends
Only genuineness and sincerity

Anything Else

Everyone
Building wealth
Pursuing luxuries
May have long forgotten
Besides lullabies
Little cuddly babies
Cry for mummy and daddy
Besides ambitions and achievements
We need love and sympathy 
Love for the valentines 
Sympathy for the refugees
Besides love and sympathy 
We need an elicitation of responses
For the deficiency and poverty

Career Ambitions 2021

I’ll be panning for gold, the child told me.
I’m looking for shipwrecks, said another.
The third one was going to become an adventurer.

I felt relieved.
Glad they are not all three going to be influencers on Utube
Like the rest of the third grade class.

Except for Josie.
She is going to be a unicorn when she grows up.
