JUNE BERRIES

Juicy and sweet, these berries delight,
Unique flavor with a hint of almond's bite.
Native to North America's land,
Eaten fresh or dried, both are grand.

Baked into pies or made into jam,
Enjoyed in wines, a treat for the fam.
Rosy bronze leaves in spring's embrace,
Rich in nutrients, a healthful grace.
Indigenous peoples cherished them so,
Essential vitamins they bestow.
Saskatoon berries, nature's gift we know.

Premium Member The Almond Tree Blossom

You tasted spring’s young almonds green;
sweeter than vestal nectarine
then all your innocence is lost;
forever to the wind is tossed.

The seed you planted long ago;
time will see it ripen and grow;
as the summer sun slow unfolds,
the carapace no longer holds

Fall harvest fruit is eager reaped;
upon a bride and groom are heaped;
Young virgins take them to their bed
to dream, foretell, of whom they wed.

When the end is near, as foretold
and the winter’s dark, bitter cold
makes the future labored to see
each year blossoms the almond tree.

Almond seed

Seeing the almond seed,
How it had grown.
What it looked at her?
A little leg…
She would feel surprised.
Before just an object and now?
It was a living being!
Either it had always been a living being?
Either it was not a living being now?
She gazed and gazed at the little leg,
It was a matter of time.
It would become a greenish silhouette,
In flocks and branches.

Almond Eyes

"Almond Eyes"

She moves like the ocean at twilight’s call
Golden curls where sunbeams fall
Almond eyes with fire inside
A depth where quiet dreams reside

With her, the world begins to bend
No start, no finish, no need to mend
The stars align, the path unfolds
A story written long untold

We mix the sky, we shape the tide
With just a glance, the winds abide
No force, no weight, yet all feels right
Like daybreak melting into night

She is my fire, my whispered spell
A love too rare for time to tell
With every movement, with every word,
She is the song that’s always heard.

Lev

Note*

A poetic reflection on a love that flows with harmony, where every glance and movement creates an unspoken connection. Inspired by the depth of her almond eyes, the poem captures the guiding power of her gaze and the perfect synchronicity between them.

Premium Member I see in your almond eyes that bittersweet love

I see in your almond eyes that bittersweet love,
Flowing slowly as you gaze at my pale and silent face,
Your heart may now carry pure intentions, without shadows,
But I cannot erase the stings, insults, betrayals, screams,
Though I want to love you, my heart has had its share of pain,
Now every fiber of my being is tired of all that was,
I am not in a state to offer yet another lost chance,
So I choose not to fall in love with you, but with peace,
In this world of illusions, I choose to choose myself,
I refuse to be caught in the snares of an uncertain love,
For my soul has been a battlefield for too long,
And now I seek the calm of a sunrise undisturbed by dreams,
Where my heart can dance without fear, without burdens,
In a place where the choices are mine, and mine alone,
Where I find the strength to choose myself.

Almond Milk

Some people don’t like the sweetness.
Which can be a lot, I will confess.
Some people prefer traditional dairy.
But the same old taste makes me weary.
Making almond milk is easy to do.
If you have a blender and water too.
Real dairy?
You’d need a whole cow, which can get scary.
Almond milk, I do adore.
Try it in oatmeal, I do implore!
Which reminds me of another option.
Oat milk is also great in my opinion.
I promise, I’m not a sales person.
I’m just someone who has been won.
Over by non dairy delights.
Which seems trite.
But it makes my morning cereal delicious.
Which makes them suspicious.
So they try it as well.
They find it swell.
They rush into the grocery store.
Leaving their cow’s milk at the door.

Almond Chocolate and Coconut Cheesecake

Heel Cota makes his in ring debut versus "SumThang Specail" Derrgentt Cetter and manager "Bounce" Binny Banger. in a Stay Outta the corner strap match.
Both guys will be telthered in one corner, while four other guys will be tethered in the opposiite corner. The four guys have no alliance to either combatant and have the right to have action with the two men. 1;00 in the corner is the total time allowed. A regular three count or Countout will determain the winner. Contention matches can make new comers and lesser apprecated wrestlers instant contenders to the Worlds Championship. We heard the the Championship committe and the fans want to see someone comeup the ladder, uncrown either the Worlds Champion or the tagteam champions. I heard Dence Castburger say " this is a place of oppurtunities: we wanna see the best man win: if it's from the Contention Series< we'll thant's great for business!"

Almond Blossom Moon

In this blue hour between branches
The waxing gibbous moon
Hangs like an almond blossom petal
Gleaming bright at noon

And the little tree that wreaths it
So breathtakingly blooms
That I’m inclined to float away
With this almond blossom moon.

Almond Blossom

Touching down upon this page
Drift petals on the breeze
If only one word, one little phrase
Would come with such ease

Yet never could I hope to pen
As good or sweet a moral
As those most lovely sentiments
Found among the floral

Brief as a haiku, almonds bloom
And as sacred as a psalm
They wax and wane with the snow moon
Amen, selah, and so on

White blossoms like wildfire blaze
Across the hills of home
Across the hills of my heart, this page
And this poem.

From the Strums of Teague

Cleanfill and cement
selected pigments of orange and blue
a stiff chilling sky blue hue
to create a scenic spektical
beauty
marks the walls a sight for
people to admire
perfection
and style Phor-Lustoreteaze
the sight of marveled perfection

the lavishness
and her beauty
makes grown men
crumble and fall
her smile and capitavtivness
make me more eager to call
guess I oughta
doll up for her
since she so pretty
and everything
I bought a watch in
dellrio
these diamonds go
with everything

Almond blossom
infusing days with white
and promises
countless on boughs
budding bright
green tips
in sunlight.

Yet in shadowy margins
faces appear
with features blurred
by time
with mouths opened
as if to speak
stopped motionless
in mid sentence
cheeks teared
in petals
and vacant eyes
staring
into unclaimed places.
