A Million to One

A dozen rows of soldiers, friends, brothers, fathers, sons,
They dressed you up and sent you off, poised, positioned.
Everywhere you look, you gaze upon photocopies under one uniform:
Stripped of individuality

Welcome to the show,
here, we throw metal roses to the audience,
the corrupted sons of Eve, all dancing to percussion.
Backstage: the scent of death, blood and roasted almonds.
Final show, curtain closed

They wait for you, your memory fading, it's too late...

The petals of moonlight and shadows of dawn,
they started this mess, weapons drawn,
A dozen rows of soldiers, friends, brothers, fathers, sons
They slowly decreased:
A million,
two,
one...

Final bow, curtain close,
thank you for coming,
but where is the rose?
They performed well and i know you want more,
but i have to apologise
For there will be no encore...

One In A Million

You're one in a million, a rare gem to find, in a world full of noise, your voice is kind and you're a friend that is forever on my mind. Through valleys of struggle, you’ve wandered and grown, each challenge a chapter, with each hardship you've face just know you never walk alone.

Sometimes it takes a lifetime to find a friend so precious and true, to discover someone like you who reflects the best as you do. With laughter and courage, you light up the night, a spirit unbroken, a heart shining bright.

You’ve faced many battles, with courage and grace, wearing your trauma like a badge on your face.
Each scar tells a story, each wound a proud display of resilience and strength that seems to brighten the day.

So here’s to your journey, the paths that you tread, to the love that surrounds you, the dreams you’ve led. In the tapestry of life, you’re a thread woven tight, one in a million, a true friend, you seem to bring light to the darkest night.

One in a million

Women are many in the world
Over billions and billions
Dark skinned and light skinned
Beautiful and ugly
Tall and short
Rich and poor
Young and old
But you are one in a million.

I have travelled to all continents
But I have seen none like you
I have gone to Asia
I have gone to Africa all over
I have gone to Europe
I have gone to all continents,
But I have found none like you.

The love you give me
The peace I feel when with you
The care you show m
The promises you always promise me
Possible and impossible
Can take me for the rest of my life
Because you are one of a kind
One in a million.

A million diseases

In the mortal realm, a million diseases lurk
Each one poised to kill a man
The ache of longing for distant dreams
Neglecting the near for a pitiful mirage
The boil of lust, yielding to flesh
Forsaking the path of chastity

The fever of impatience, rushing to doom
While salvation stands on a steep hill
Awaiting careful tread

In the mortal realm, a million diseases lie
Each one eager to claim a man
The irritating groin of procrastination
Slowing his journey to success
The strain of distraction, hampering his focus
The shivers of failure, halting his steps

In the mortal realm, a million diseases dwell
Yet man hopes to die
Of the bruises from fighting for what's right
Of burns from the flames of progress
On the journey to fulfillment
If he falters, if he fails
He hopes to die with his diseases vanquished
Not in surrender, but in battle to the end

Millions of men
Millionaires everywhere
Just trying my best

A Million Kisses

How ‘bout a kiss
To kill this headache
And another one
To turn aches opaque

Three,
Tells everything
Any language can't say

Do you love me?
Because that,
I'm warning you,
Takes a million kisses

If I Could Write for a Million Years

If I could write for a million years.

Would I write big or small?

Would I take breaks?

Maybe a hundred year break here and there.

To gather new utensils.

To replenish my ideas.

Eventually, watching the sun burn out.

My friends and family would be memories.

There would be no more crossroads.

Or conflict.

Or love.

Just stars.

Watching the comets pass.

And writing about the sounds they make.

Touch my soul, feel thoughts flowing soft across my heart, this poet of a million thoughts.

I come to you in many ways, through simple expression, understanding, notes written in dreams, awaken I write, till again I sleep in the silence essence of love sweetness, to awake and write again.

Poet of a million thoughts to bring you inspiration when days sometimes are blue, and skies are darkened, I am here with you in written word.

Read me, feel me near, fear me not, I am here to comfort you, the poet of a million thoughts.

Within a binder, words are written, of a million thoughts, an endorphin releaser, like sitting on a cliff feeling the salty mist of the ocean across my brow.

Sweet music to mind, are a million thoughts that go on forever filling the emptiness that would not exist without this poet of a million thoughts.

I Owe You a Million of Thanks

You found me a broken soul
You didn’t need to know my past
You just lifted me and carried me away
Your gentle touch assured me I was safe
Your soothing voice was most comforting
Your tenderness was the validation of the
possibility I have a chance to make it

I couldn’t bring myself to look into your eyes
I was too afraid to open my eyes
In my confusion thoughts you were an Angel
Perhaps you’re here to take me up to Heaven
Away from the pain and ugliness that’s breaking me down to pieces
And in my broken heart I felt your spark of hope

You didn’t need to ask me for anything
Seeing and understanding who I was
You went about your way and cared for me
You healed me
You filled me with hope
You gave me a validation there’s much to live for

Now I can look into your eyes
My heart embraces you
I’m smiling for you
And
I suppose I owe you a million of thanks

One in a million, a rare gem to find,
A heart so pure, so gentle and kind.
A soul that shines bright, like a star in the sky,
A spirit so free, soaring high up high.

With love so abundant, and compassion so deep,
A spirit that touches, hearts of those it meets.
A smile that glows, warming all those around,
A joy that abounds, lifting hearts off the ground.

One in a million, a true work of art,
A masterpiece crafted, from the depths of the heart.
A soul that inspires, and encourages us all,
To love more, give more, and follow our call.

So let us cherish, this precious gift,
And strive to live, with a heart that uplifts.
For we too, can be one in a million,
A light in the darkness, a ray of hope to all women and men.

One In a Million

One in a million
By Michelle Morris

There's always one in a million
There's always a light in the dark
There's always hope for tomorrow
In the beating of the best hearts

And when we're feeling alone
Betrayed by the outside world
There's always that special someone
Who will make us feel like we're home

So look up at the stars
Know you're brighter than them all
See the milky way
Know you're part of her light and glory

See the stars shining like heaven
Angels looking down at you
See the sun rise in the morning
Know your dreams are coming true

For there's always one in a million
There's always a light in the dark
There's always hope for tomorrow
And you can be the brightest of stars

One is a million at the end my Friend's
You can't change it then, or ever again.
So go all in now, this is your chance.
Because one is a million,
Once the Game End's.
