Contest Description

I am involved in quite a few creative projects at the moment with a very talented artist, great poets and musicians.

They are all wonderful and talented people.

One of the projects is where 13 creatives have selected a painting from the aritst and will create a piece of poetry or music inspired by it.

Also, recently at a separate event, collaborating with the artist, whilst I was performing spoken word, she was painting to my words - little did i know she had created a portrait of me - I was lost for words.

I have only ever writtien one poem using the Ekphrasis form - so I look forward to what is entered.

Sorry for the long intro - Please follow these instructions.

- Only an Ekphrasis poems

- New poem only, dated from 7 July onwards.

- Pick any painting of your choice. I cannot see the painting. PUT THE NAME OF THE PAINTING AND ARTIST AT THE TOP OF YOUR POEM.

Happy writing
