What to Submit?
greetings, fellow Croutons,
I need cheering up.
So a traditional Limerick, please, starting with
'There was an old/ young... man/woman/boy/girl... from 'placename'
Seven to ten syllables, lines one, two and five.
Five to seven syllables on lines three and four.
Good rhyme and rythmn, please, and let's have some humour.
My example-
There was an old man from Dungannon
who shot his wife out of a cannon
but the gunpowder charge
that he used was too large-
she sank a rowboat in the Shannon.
****************** Good luck, folks! *******************************************************
