Preparing Your Entry
Submit one copy of your poem online. Format your poem, minimum of twelve lines. Please make your entry easy to read — no illustrations or fancy fonts. Date your poems, new poems only.
Theme Requirements
Please have one person in the poem. Show a gesture, facial expression, something about a body part.
Please have one object in the poem. Use an exact name, provide a unique description.
Please have one natural item in the poem, not the same as the object. Use an exact word--no trees--use oak, willow, etc, no flowers--use rose, petunia.
Please describe where you are with five specific things to say about it.
English Language
Poems should be in English. Poems translated from other languages are not eligible, unless you wrote both the original poem and the translation.

You are welcome to enter this contest, whether or not you won a prize in one of my previous contests.
