Contest Description

What to Submit?

1 original, poem on the theme of one of these three thoughts or ideas:

1)   If you could look into your future and choose one day to see what would happen, what day would that be and why...

2)   Rumi's quote: If you are irritated by every rub, how will your mirror be polished?

3)   Rumi's quote: Let the beauty of what you love, be what you do.

Any form is acceptable, but I prefer shorter forms less than 6 stanzas, I prefer less not more of flowery words or metaphors say only one line per stanza if I start reading it and it is nothing but flowery words then it will automatically be counted as read and will not be allowed to go forward.

Please use the word Mixed in the title or after your title so I won't read one that is for the contest.

Please place 1, 2, or 3 just above your poem on the poem page so I will know which quote or idea you used to write your poem.
