“Let the beauty of what you love, be what you do.” by Rumi

_____________________________________________________________________

Beauty I see in so many things, but mostly I love when beauty takes wings. singing to me in rhythm and rhyme. That’s why I write poems all the time. Beauty I see in the love of learning. It’s the glow on the faces of students yearning to know all they can, and so I love too teaching great students, for that’s what I do!

thanks so much. Before our school got super serious, I was having a blast with the students at night when our classes were not heavily monitored and we would often go off topic and have lots of interesting conversations. Those days are out the window now, but I can tell the students who appreciate me and ones who don't even want to learn! (happening more today than in the past)

I echo your sentiments in both verses. I see that same beauty in so much around me...I find it inspirational not only for writing poetry, but in writing narrative essays. Before retiring, I was privileged to see the miracle of learning unfolding. I always felt so blessed and still do. Your poem touched me. enjoy your evening, hugs, Sara

Dear Andrea, your poem beautifully captures the essence of beauty in both the seen and unseen realms of life. Your verses dance with the rhythm of love and passion, echoing Rumi's timeless wisdom. Through your words, we glimpse the beauty that permeates every facet of existence—the melody of poetry, the radiance of learning, the joy of teaching. Your poem is a testament to the profound interconnectedness of love and beauty, inspiring us to find peace and purpose in the pursuit of what we cherish most. A heartfelt reflection. - Blessings, Daniel
