1 NEW original, Descriptive poem on the theme of ..GLORY OF NATURE...........

Here is the link to my poem:

https://www.poetrysoup.com/poem/dewdrops_1379703

I was experimenting with a new form of short descriptive verse, and came up with a format i loved! I am honoured that our dearest poet, Brian Strand has placed it as a winner in his recent contest. I am humbled!

So soupers, here is a contest for you - please read the instructions very carefully - not only the theme, the form matters for being placed. Remember it's a Premier contest - we observe the rules for placement.

Write a descriptive verse of two stanzas - first stanza begins with only one word with one syllable. It increases up to six lines with six syllables.

Second stanza vice versa - begins with six syllables, and ends with one word, one syllable in a decreasing order. Please have a look at my link - My poem is "Dewdrops".

Very important - the theme is Nature In Its Glory - please stay on the topic. Charm me with mesmerizing pieces with your talented pens.

The category has to be the accepted form by PoetrySoup: "Verse", although I would love to call it "Merse".

Have Fun, Soupers. We never stop to learn at this site.

REMEMBER:

1. NEW POEM  - write the date it was created.

2. THEME - GLORY OF NATURE (only positive aspects)

2. DESCRIPTIVE - each line describes nature, not our feelings

3. Follow the FORM correctly, as I explained. (check syllables with HMS). Only 2 stanzas.
