Contest Description
I am going to start occasional contests like this using the alphabet
I want you to write a FREE VERSE poem choosing from
the words below that start with the letter 'A'
1.) Aura
2.) Aria
3.) Astounded
4.) Aching
5.) Attraction

What I want:
1.) 25 lines or less
2.) NO names/ date at bottom (no need for contest name or sponsor, I know who I am)
3.) Title - FREE VERSE FEVER
4.) Fill with emotion, metaphor, and depth (most of you know what I like)
5.) Make sure it's FREE VERSE not rhyme (so many do this and it's a waste of an entry)
6.) MUST put the word you chose at the bottom!!! I am not picky about directions usually but this is the most important one. (It's sometimes hard to discern what the theme is)

I will pick out of a bowl one of the 1st place winners and make them a personalized hand made wood sign. I have made many for poets here. Depending on the size the prize is worth about $50 US dollars. Shipping paid for and you can choose whatever verse or quote you wish. Any color, any font. You tell me, I design and make, get approval and ship!
