Contest Description

What to Submit?

1 original poem on the theme of: "A funny thing happened on the way to..."
Any form is acceptable. Inspired by the famous book and musical, "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum." You must substitute your own word or words (instead of Forum), and your entry must be no less than 14 lines and no more than 36 lines long. The title of your poem must be: "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to (then your own word or words - instead of Forum)" 

Prizes

First Prize, Golden Glory
Second Prize, Silver Glory
Third Prize, Bronze Glory
Fourth to Tenth, Honours

Preparing Your Entry

Submit one copy of your poem online. Format your poem. Please make your entry easy to read — no illustrations or fancy fonts. 

English Language

Poems should be in English. Poems translated from other languages are not eligible, unless you wrote both the original poem and the translation.
