Heart And Soul Confessionalism Contest Judged

This was an extremely difficult contest to judge, just as I expected, and I don't mind admitting that tears fell as I was reading the entries. But that's okay, because from an early age I've enjoyed reading things that make me cry (I'm a bit odd like that)! In the end I managed to whittle them down to twelve winners: twelve poems that stood out for me in different ways. Originality always counts for a lot with me, and I saw something unique in each of these poems. There was very little to choose between many of the poems and they could have placed in almost any order. Congrats to my twelve winners and thanks to everybody who participated!

Thank you, Charlotte, for the placement in your contest. Mine was a poem poised to be written. I would have done it eventually, but your contest gave it voice now. I do enjoy your contests.

Charlotte! Thanks EVER so much for my second place win. You don't know how I struggled with myself about this poem. I'm thrilled that it got such a high placement with you as I know there is a certain style that you like. :) Congrats to all the winners.
